These colonoscopy preps are disgusting BUT plevenu works really well I recently took this and although it was horrific it did work and the colonoscopy result was not cancerous what was causing my symptoms was extremely GROSS (a parasite) but fortunately after being prescribed antiparasitic medication and taking it for a while everything was cured up and i now feel much better
I just had mine last night and this morning....I vomited forcefully just 15 minutes after the consumption (both times!) Thank God the doctor didn't send me home, but he said that it was just endurable. The side effects I had was chills, and severe headache as well. :((
Yes, not a good drink that. Slightly salty, hint of orange, very intense. I didn't have any side effects though Granted it's only been 45 minutes but haven't thrown.
Is it really salty, I failed with movieprep as the strong salty taste made me gag and after a glass I threw up so in a few days I've to take plenvu, there's less to drink than movieprep but if it's really salty I wonder how I'll get and keep it down,
My friend’s doctor is using pills. You take 15 pills within 1/2 hour and drink water. A few hours later, you take another 15 pills with more water and you’re done. She said her doctor did this for her own colonoscopy and it was so easy. No gagging or throwing up. Unfortunately my dr just gave me Plenvu and 2 anti-nausea pills to take 1/2 hour before each pouch.
Where is the step for vomiting? LOL That white, chalky-looking stuff must taste absolutely horrible. Step two tooks looks even thicker. Yuuccck! Note that they do not show anyone drinking this stuff.
The first dose is not that bad. But the second doses tasted so bad it was hard to swallow. You won't be able to sleep at all, spent almost all night sitting on the toilet. 😅
It is so nasty taste, it taste like Alcohol and plus the end of taste like Strong MSG, that stays on your tongue, who likes to drink hard liquor maybe will be ok with this if they can add some lemon? It took me over 50 minutes to finish the drink. Nauseous, headache.
Due to colon cancer I’ve had more than a few colonoscopies and prep. This is by far the worst, most disgusting ever made. Impossible to finish without vomiting. Although no prep is exactly delicious this is completely pointless as it is like trying to swallow thickened sea water. Even the endoscopist and nurses deem it useless and I now have a note on my file not to have it again. I spent a week in agony afterwards with spasms, pain and nausea. Please go yourself a favour and refuse to be palmed off with this. You likely either be unable to finish it or throw it back up- both lead to a failed colonoscopy and the need to repeat the procedure
I will NEVER NEVER EVER use PLENVU AGAIN. OMG it tastes like death. Felt nauseated for a week after and during the prep. Can't even watch this video of the person mixing it up. GAG.........
This is the worst prep solution I have ever drank. I was sick all day after the procedure. Just the smell makes me want to hurl. Do yourself a favor and ask for something else.
i’ve taken a different prep that was literally over a gallon and it was so disgusting. i asked my dr to not give me that and he gave me plenvu but now looking at all these comments i’m so scared that this is gonna be worse. the other prep i had made me gag every time i took a sip

Mix with cold water. It is much more tolerable.
