      Hi Sophie,
It’s not crazy, it’s the result of feeding people with garbage music for many many years... people eventually forget the real taste of good music !
Good for both you me and many others, we keep fighting the trend.

One of those songs that I think, if I was still writing songs I'd finish this one and go "that's it it doesn't get any better than that, I'll stop there."
    Perfect.

Certain artists not many but some can achieve this.. Sam has achieved it here.. I think Grace vanderwall achieved it with "I don't know my name.. Its amazing to see and hear.. There's brilliant songs and there's also these rare brilliant songs that has the perfection element.. Real SOUL is my best interpretation.. 🎸

I mean he’s got a wonderful voice but the lyrics aren’t anything earth shattering. Not a patch on something like Hypersonic Missles or Leave Fast lyrically.

    • @xtitaniumtv
      @xtitaniumtv 4 года назад

@@oliveraherne5547 personally I think melodically speaking this is better than hypersonic missiles, but agree with the lyrics. The borders is better than both imo

stripped back like this makes it quite emotional, brings so many memories of being a jack the lad in my younger days i can even see the faces of some x one night stands, that makes a great singer to bring out that kind of emotion well done son

    Blue Monday
    Blarin' loudly out the speakers
    Fluorescent liquid in his beaker
Another night they've gone too far
    She said
"I don't usually do this kind of thing
Does it change the way you think of me?"
    Thinkin' isn't his forte
    And she said
"If you dance with me, darlin'
    If you take me home
Will we talk in the morning?"
    They leave
    Weave around the night's commotion
    And dodge a Mexican standoff
And catch a cab back to his flat
    There's no romance
    Sprawled out across the couch
Can't even make his fuckin' face out
    An age-old ritual
    And she said
"If you dance with me, darlin'
    If you take me home
Will we talk in the morning?"
    Sometimes I close my eyes
And sometimes, I see you're fine
    She said
"If you dance with me, darlin'
    If you take me home
Will we talk in the morning?"

If this same song was done the same way by Ed Shearan it would be a world wide No.1 hit. I have been listening to music for over 50 years and I haven't bought a Record ,Cd, Album for years. Last month I bought Hypersonic Missiles and have been spreading the Sam Fender word for over a year. Don't wonder why he isn't huge just enjoy what he gives and maybe the sheep will stray into the Fender paddock one day. PS The CD won't play in my fucking car. DDDDOOOOHHH!
