Yeah, I had lots of ppl try to tell me this 5 years ago, but having finally spent time away from the "Main" car, I actually appreciate it more when I do drive it on weekends.
Except with Bladed every 2 months he tells you to do exactly the opposite of what he "did" two months before. He flip flops so much I'm shocked he still has a channel
My biggest regret with my car was, that I went to a mercedes dealership for a repair. I didn't realize how much you can fix yourself with youtube and Amazone
Bro...we've all been there! I'm glad you worked up the courage to work on your own car. My first Mustang Dealer visit wasn't the greatest either. I figured a toolbox and jacks would be cheaper, been wrenching since!
Sometimes having someone do it right the first time is the right call tho. Tried to do a head gasket before I had ever done anything else, 2 years and multiple thousand dollars later, the car is still not running 🫠
God I have a friend who has a blown head gasket on a car worth around $1000 and he refuses to fix it and wants to get a new WRX. I offered to even help him for free and he still refused. He just got out of high school, he works a part time job, and plans to pay for college with his own money. Sucks seeing people wanting to look rich rather than working towards true wealth.
I’d say my biggest regret with my car is cutting corners, I don’t recommend it for anyone especially when working on your own vehicle. The job may be simple but it has to be done by the steps for a reason as everything relies on each other in order for your vehicle to function properly.
I've known people who loctite loose bumpers, then have a confused pikachu face when they need to do a job that requires them to remove said bumper. They played themselves. Never do things the cheap way!!

"You should stop doing this with your car when you're driving, right now and don't look back! What is that, you are probably wondering? We will get to that after the break.. Do you hate cleaning your car? I know I do!"
As a carless engine enthusiast, finding your channel , binging it, then reach to this point felt like seeing someone growing, and maturing in timelapse. Love it. New found appreciation in life just change the whole outlook for the better. Edit: regret? I regret flipping my car. Like literally.
Bro Kei cars are legit so fing cool more people should be into kei cars if their car people! Right now my dream car is a Daihatsu Mira TRXX, just so cool and practical!!!
I remember the day you posted a video about your 40 dollar sticker on your car. All about that Americana. ;) It certainly shows quite a bit for how much you've changed in the past 3 years. If I had a big regret, it was not doing more research on what car I was buying. I had no idea about trims or what the differences are between V6 and V8. I only cared about the look of the car really, and the yellow with the black burnout strips on the sides drew me in. Luckily I hear the V6 dodge challengers are made to last for quite some time. Over 3 years of driving my car and 40,000 miles later, I've had no mechanical issues whatsoever. So I really lucked out on my choice for my first car.
As a car guy, your point about not being snobby is something I’ve also learned. I also totally understand loving car companies that aren’t the norm (literally Kia and Hyundai are the coolest car brands imo) so it’s nice to hear someone who has a following say that
I'm trying to stay away from the car guy mentality, I personally love my 4cyl eco mustang, yes it's not as quick as the V8 ones but it makes me smile every time I drive
Good! Stick with that mentality. What matters is you enjoy it, not other's opinions of what you like. I bet the 4cyl handles better than the v8 version (assuming same features) and still has plenty of performance. I had the v8 version ('16), and it would make me car sick. Did not like it for that reason, but it was a great car!
I think one of the best parts about dailying a normal grocery getter is when you get in your weekend car that’s all souped up. you really appreciate every little detail in it
Daily driving your pride and joy everyday kinda takes the fun out of it. Think your most car guy car should be a weekend warrior. Also that Honda N ONE is actually kinda sick, probably really fun to drive in the city.
I use to own a crappy 3rd gen 86 Camaro IROC. I loved that car more than I hated it. I loved it where I didn't hate it but was disappointed in its issues. It wouldn't always start. It didn't have AC. It had an electric fan for the radiator, which didn't work. Driving it had to be short because that thing had to drive on the freeway to get cool or drive relatively fast. The drivers door had a wobbly window and loose mirror. There was no muffler. The car had drag radial street tires. But driving it was enjoyable despite the stiff suspension. The sound of the engine was pleasing. I had to sell it because we had flooding that made leaving home a risk. I bought a 99 F150 with the 5.4L. It was nice to finally have a truck for when flooding happens and if there's snow. I have a 15 Mazda3 and it's my daily but on weekend I drive my truck. The only expensive thing I spent on my truck was the AC getting fixed. I bought a tool chest and a replacement foam seat. I need to get seat covers though.
I recently slapped a massive Re:creators (anime) sticker on the hood of my E46. I've gotten some mixed reactions from people but at the end of the day, I can't help but smile when I look at it as I walk to my car and that's all that matters; the haters can suck it and anyone who also likes it is simply a bonus.
I joined your channel 5 months ago and I saw most of your videos and I like that we see you evolve in your car enthusiasm. If you don't watch your videos in order, you can say two different things on the same subject and I find it interesting
You're absolutely right on the less you drive it the more enjoyable it becomes point. Tackling bumper to bumper traffic on your pride and joy with subpar comfort just makes you hate it more. Have an enjoyable drive with your cool car, not going up against semi's and sentras
Ive had times where Ive had a planned outing on the weekend, and I have legitimately been more excited about getting to jump into my fun car and drive it, than the event I am actually driving to lol.
Bladed, what can I say. You are maturing, we all are maturing! You have helped me to be more responsible and mature car enthusiast and it's making me happy to see you become a better person
Almost immediatly after getting my liscence I had to daily my car guy/project car, a Renault from the 70s through the harsh norwegian winter and man it was a real chore. Sure, it was fun the first month or two but when spring came and I had money to buy a daily driver I was really tired of the lack of modern comforts in my old Renault. Fun, but really tiring.
I agree, like sometimes I accidentally go hypercritical and feel bad, because in reality I love nugget cars and motorcycles and generally everything, but then sometimes I get too serious about nothing. Luckily I'm catching onto it more and reducing it as well.
The thing I get irritated the most is when there is a post or forum entry of someone asking "how can I get 1,2,3,x more HP out of my small engine car" or "how can I make my budget car sportier and good sounding" and the answer of all the people is always to "buy a bigger car hur dur" and that "you should have thought of that before". This disgusting behavior led me to never ask such questions myself, as it would just be pointless. This sucks and seems to be a problem for car people. Cause when I see a forum on 50cc or 125 cc bikes they do give genuine advice.
Having a normal car to daily drive, and then your "fun" vehicle for the weekend or the occasional drive is the way to go. I used to daily my motorcycle, but I wore full gear so it would take me like 10 minutes to get ready to go anywhere, and then I would always worry about someone stealing my bike while I was at work. Getting a comfortable car that's good on gas, and if you can afford it, has advanced cruise control for traffic? That's the big brain move.
my biggest regret would be associating the joy of driving with things like speeding and accidents and racing on normal roads and then blaming everyone for their bad driving. I stopped liking cars because of this a long time ago, but then i got to drive again on a road all alone and i'm starting to feel this same joy again. I have to say it ignited something i thought was over!
My biggest car guy regret was sending my first car that was actually nice into a land rover and then being a dumb 18 year old and just accepting the first insurance offer
i have been a motorcycle guy for a couple years, and this year decided to also be a car guy. Even if all I got is a 4runner right now, I wanna rally build that thing, and I plan get a Hyundai Veloster as my commuter.
Man literally since I’ve stopped daily driving my Stang and I just drive my wife’s civic to work I’ve enjoyed driving the stang more on weekends it’s something I look forward to since I forget the feeling of driving it makes me fall in love with the car all over again
As much as I loved dailying a '21 Mustang, the constant attention sucked and it was vandalized twice. There's such a stigma around them now, that it doesn't matter if you're a safe and respectful driver. People just love to hate, and I got sick of not being left alone to just enjoy my car. There was always a comment or criticism. As I said above too, after it was vandalized twice, I decided that I needed to let it go before I lost any more value or sanity. I daily a Tacoma now and I love just being a grey man. I think in the future, I'll definitely choose more wisely. I do miss it though.
When a supercar/cool car pass me, I just stick my hand out and do a thumbs up, it doesn't get in the way and lets me show apreciation to these beautiful machine
My biggest regret is obnoxiously revving my engine when I was about to turn off my car. That led to a rod saying, "I'm outta here!" and me getting a new engine
@@GreenTense 1980 Pontiac Firebird (basemodel) , I was revving engines with my buddy who had recently cut the muffler off of his 280z and my engine had knock at the time and I didn't really know if it did or not so I kept going. That ended up with the oil pan getting punctured and cylinder 2 no longer working the way it was supposed to. Edit: added detail.
for about 10 years my one and only car i owned was an e46 m3. it's been an absolute joy, but also bladed is right. there does come a point where it feels less special and the constant maintenance really starts to take a toll (150k-1750k miles was a NIGHTMARE. just flushing money down the toilet). however..... for me it's also "swung back" to the point where i've put so many miles on it (up to 195k) and i've made the car "perfect" to MY OWN standards and i fell in love with it all over again and now it's a life long commitment. i really do appreciate every moment of it now, highs and lows.
Oh no, will I become a Ricer if I turn mine into a Bobber? Jk, I'll do a Bobber build on the Enfield instead. I don't get why people mod scooters to look "hard asf" cause they'll always look cute and weak asf, but that's the point lmao. We're slow!🤣 Adding fatter tires only makes us slower!!
@@BladedAngel your super cub is a late 1960s-early 1970s one right? Haven't seen any of those be modified probably because they are so old. Most modified cubs I've seen are from the 1980s or 1990s
i feel that people with newer cars are just wayyy different, us classic car guys are a different breed 🤣, for example you mentioned how a dial feels, LOL if i dial even works in my car im happy 😂
I’d been to a few car meets but I never found people who were happy driving and enjoying smaller hondas. When I did find someone who enjoyed them as much as I did, it felt so good to be able to drive and enjoy our rides rather than throw specs about other cars at each other.
1st point Really true...lol.. but me.. 🤣 first i used to even drive a suzuki Swift very less and mostly went out in friends cars and bikes to keep it in pristine condition.. but the thing is that now i realized that they are meant to be driven.. to be used and even keeping your car 0 kilometers would not stop depreciation..
The first point is super interesting. I've got a manual 86 trans am. Everything you said I also deal with but at this point I do still love dailying it. And maybe the firebird is just a more dailyable car but definitely something to consider since I make fun of all my friends with 'real dailies.'
I totally support you riding your scooter but please be careful of snow and ice because winter is coming (I don't know what it's like where you live because I don't live in the US but where I am it's a fatal mistake to drive like that)
My biggest regret was I waited and planned out every mod and made sure I would not regret it but one of my speakers blew and I got the cheapest speakers at auto zone. Put them in and now I’m sad.
I got a C8 corvette stingray for that reason daily drivability 😂 but my next goal is to get a C8Z06 which will be my weekend car. I’m even considering getting an C8 Eray first and getting rid of the stingray. Because the Eray will be AWD hybrid and that car will be great for daily drives. Why all C8s BECAUSE I LOVE THE C8 Platform. I like and appreciate all corvettes they are my favorite cars but the C8 is my favorite. Moment I saw it revealed I knew I had to have one.
@@rusty1253 I love C8s if I have kids I might have to switch it up and have a C8 C8 and some random luxury car or might have to get a Dodge Charger that’s a 4 door family sedan 😂
Not a regret yet but maybe I shouldn't buy a 240sx as a first car even if I save enough money for an overpriced one. Even at 22, working as a tech I tell myself I'll maintain and keep it well running but as a daily to use to go to work I think maybe I should stick to something more reliable. Maybe a year or so later I can make that dream happen when I have more experience
I will be honest, i prefer being a bike guy rather than a car guy, even though i like cars, i absolutely love cars but come on, they will litterally try to hate something about your car every time
Its pretty dependent where ur at too like the Texas car community is just so ego driven and they all drive the same cars as each other no flavor in it at all💀
I'm ...like...getting into cars more and more at 31 (and i have more income to do so) and I just love being in the scene with my Toyota 86. I get it all lol, complements, "lol thats a slow car", people want to race, cars that don't pull up next to me, yadda yadda. The thing I most enjoy is that its so easy making friends with other (non-toxic) car people, its like a whole nother world and I love it. My only regret was putting too much money on a 2001, 4 door, 160k mile Honda Civic. That car was shitting the bed every year and tbh, ugly. It was my baby but i wish i just got me a higher paying job (was in college at the time) and saved for a nicer car. oh well, i learned alot working on that car.
I have a 2001 e46 wagon. Car is completely stock power. Just better wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, and polyurethane bushings. It’s my car guy car that I daily. Maybe not the car everyone should daily but car hasn’t been down more than a day.
the way you feel ab kei cars is how I am about station wagons. like they're just so sick and I get the weirdest looks when I talk ab how much I love them
I daily a tiburon. (99) Gets mid 30s mpg, easy af to work on and it's a tuff lil car. I even used it to pull a tree stump, and put a trailer on it to collect yard clippings. (Had to drive it backwards tho, it's FF 😊) It's gapped quite a few overconfident jabronies on the freeway, and stll turns heads in town. It's not going to break any land speed records, but it's fun to drive. Puts a smile on your face on your way home from work. To me, it scratches the itch until i can get the toy out.
I see it this way, spend money on parts that is gonna suit your goals for a build. Why spend top dollar on aftermarket performance parts when you know you aren’t going to drive it for your intended purpose?
My biggest regret is I am the noob. I’m not old enough to have enough experience in finding stuff for my car. And having the issue that stuff I find isn’t made anymore because apparently my car is not a super easy find. So my regret is being young. But your videos do help me a lot.
Biggest regret was trusting my gut instead of my research when I bought my Subaru, "Oh, it can't be that bad. Maybe...maybe it's not much of an issue than I think." ...it was a lot more than I thought...
Some of the best fun in the summer is giving ppl the thumbs up in traffic and complimenting their ride while your next to them. Even if they have a monster machine compared to you their face just lights up. Same thing with the motorcycle folks, they are the MOST fun to pull up next to. riders will absolutely chill with you and cruise with you. They will chat a little at every stop if there's time :D. Love the motorcycle folks
My biggest regrets are 1. Assuming that everyone with a sports car is about THAT LIFE a lot people are in for the looks not racing. 2. Complimenting peoples cars , because their response to me feels like (“eh thanks, why is this guy bothering and saying my car looks cool ,leave me alone”) they act like they I’m the 1000th person to say they have a nice car and their sick and tired of it or something. 3. Getting excited when the exact same car pulls up next to me or when another sports car pull up next me and nothing happens. 4. Getting excited when I see the exact same car next to me or we both heading the same direction and nothing happens you’d think there be like some type of brotherhood when you see someone with the exact same car you got and both are modded you’d think y’all say what’s up to each other or something but NOPE bro could care less if y’all got the same car. 😢 5. Assuming people know how to properly race , like why is hard for someone to LINE IT UP, HONK 3 TIMES then go ? And they don’t even say good race or anything by flashing the hazards or throwing up the peace ✌️ out the window …. No proper communication So because of this I mind my own business , I don’t complement peoples cars , I don’t race anybody no more , I don’t get excited if I see the exact same car next to me or anybody sports car
I've definitely been guilty of getting excited about seeing people in the same car or in another car that is labeled as a "car guy car". Had to learn that most people see it as just a "insert brand" unless it's an exotic
@@Pika_Gabe yeah I had to learn the hard way as well , basically, everyone around me with their car guy car is stuck up and weird of some sorts , nice to know I’m not the only one, so thanks for the comment.
I’ve had largely good experiences with other car guys, most recently an amazing race with a corvette C4 vs my E36 M3 vert. Dead even to 100+. I’m still smiling about it. The ole boomer said he was out testing his newly rebuilt trans and was all smiles and thumbs up afterwards. Another time an E36 325i vert merged on the highway behind me and we had miles of fun comparing the two. Again it was another boomer, gave approving head nods and the respect was there. The old timers seem to have more experience in how to race… not sure why, but has been my experience so far. And, perhaps it’s your area? I live more rural so another cool car/car guy is more rare and appreciated. Like the local car meet has 40 cars max lol. So, I wouldn’t give up hope entirely :)
@@ikaros4203 I had some of those experiences but you're probably right about my area. Unfortunately for me I'm in squatted truck and straight pipe v6 land so seeing anyone who actually wants to talk about cars is quite rare
As a motorcyclist I completely agree with you about car culture. It’s probably one of the most toxic hobbies I’ve seen. It should be about the shared love in 4 wheel vehicles but it’s so cliquey and gate keepy.
I daily drive an 89 Iroc and I'm so fed up with it. Can't go 2 weeks without something going wrong. I love my shitbox and have even swapped it from auto to t56 and it's more fuel efficient and more fun to drive. Though I'm too paranoid about it getting hit or if it'll start everyday and it's just not worth the stress. Buy a daily shitbox and drive it to work and back, if you wanna go out and get something to eat or it's a day off, drive the cool car - don't rely on it as your main and only form of transport.
I get what you mean about dailying your car guy car. I daily drive a Honda Beat out of necessity and I can confirm it is not fun. I'm constantly having to import parts in advance that way so when stuff breaks on it I always have it on hand not to mention mechanic shops refuse to work on it where I live so I have to do all my own maintenance in my garage. Tie this to the fact that it's my only car and suddenly everything has to be fixed within a certain time limit so I can show up to my day job. Luckily I recently got a cappuccino to help split the maintenance but I'm actually looking at selling it and getting a kei truck instead to use as a daily.
I think ur sticker looked cool on the corvette tbh. I use window peekers cuz i definitely don’t wanna commit to my car looking like that. Subtle sticker is a good convo starter because theyll know you like anime. Thats how a girl that was into anime started talking to me.
Nahhh, the sticker was lit 🤣. But in regards to daily driving your car guy car, tbh I still unbelievably love driving my challenger hellcat. Although it's wayyyyyy more daily-able than most car guy cars because it's like a comfy fucking speed boat with a giant trunk. I think possibly having to work from home and driving less may attribute my feelings still be high about my daily driver, but people need to realize you can have a practical car be your "car guy car" as well. There's a reason chargers and challengers sell very well as they are very daily-able. You don't necessarily need to have a low slung supercar as a daily driver because it's more popular. Getting a car that's practical and fun isn't a bad thing as you are the one that has to live with your car, not the guys you meet at car shows.
My daily is a red challenger with a shaker with a 6speed manual. My weekend car is a black c7 zo6 that's slammed with the 7speed manual... I don't drive either of them hard, but I drive them both and I love them.
Biggest thing I've done that was stupid, was working on something that time has forgotten. I own a Triumph TR3A from 1960 (Yes, same company that still make motorcycles) and even just looking at parts shakes me too my core as just things like gauge cluster replicas run up 1-2 grand. Along with that there's normally a reason time forgot them like in my case weak frames and the flywheel wanting to kill you. (On another note mine doesn't have overdrive and as such has a different transmission and it is impossible to find them thanks to those transmissions being made for 2 days.)
I have an JDM import and i get a whole bunch of people recording put their windows doing signs to floor it and i drive on the right lane on CC at 65mph. Sometimes I do it and sometimes I go like 🤙🙅🏻♂️
You should do a video talk about how "Car Enthusiast" are different from "Driving Enthusiast" .... I'm a driving enthusiast, as in I enjoy driving just about anything and I pride myself in driving the best I can. From 35ft class-A motorhomes to old cop cars and even passenger cars, it I have the chance to drive it, I drive it! All my friends know me as the "wheelman" and when I'm able I drive the "Tail of the Dragon" in my 2017 Ford Flex (non turbo fwd SEL with 290hp 3.5 v6).... I live 30 mins away from the Tn side and cut my driving teeth on roads like that since I was 16! My whole kick is driving slow looking cars fast or out running someone with skill alone down a back road. (I did have a 2011 cvpi that could out run motorcycles when pushed to the max but it got hit last year while I was at a light, it hurt my back so I used the settlement money to buy the Flex as it is easy on my bad back)
What to do when my only car is my "car guy" car? hahaha i daily my Lancer Sportback Ralliart (to go to the gym and other stuff, at least i work from home) and i love dailying it, cars are meant to be used! But ofc if i had a econo car (Dacia Sandero eg), i'd daily it instead of the Lancer for sure, i just don't have the option to do so xD At least the Lancer is a pretty usable daily, just not very fuel efficient.
My biggest regret so far has been buying a car new and being so scared to drive it that I never did anything really fun with it because I didn’t want to mess up the paint. Anything I did that was fun always had a lens of “oh this is probably damaging this and that” so I was never as happy as I should’ve been
i remember i was really stupid forcing my bad opinions about rebadging cars when i was younger to my friend and then it just made me look like an asshole and i ruined street car culture for them. i would tear up and yell at my younger self to learn to not be like that
I love the way you think I know way too much about cars and have been around cars since 4 or 5 yo But never owned a sports car and never modded any of my cars because i know it is waste of money People around me with 500 to 800 hp cars always complaining about having to buy parts or rebuilding stuff and having no money , no house of their own and way too much debt made me realize that. I just want to own a house a Z06 or Gt3 (not both) someday be debt free and live a happy life.
I "daily drive" my Miata since I am working remotely and don't have to really daily drive it. Even then, I rent a carsharing mundane car if I need to transport my packages (like during moving to a new flat or transporting pets - guinea pig cage won't fit in MX5). I'd need to buy a grocery getter in case of real need to daily drive my car. Stiff suspension, low clearance and lack of space kills fun of driving in a long term.
My biggest regret was assuming I knew what I was hearing when I got rid of my old car for a "transmission whine". It wasn't transmission whine. It was either the alternator, water pump, or power steering pump. Transmission whine typically is speed-linked. My issue was RPM-linked.
Okay, I just had to comment on the Scarlet Nexus music throughout the first part of the video. Good shit! I can't agree more with daily your "carguy car". '00 WS6 Formula until I blew up the engine. I'm now putting in a 416ci LS3 in, and hopefully will be in by this Summer. No way in hell will I daily that again, lmao. Then I bought another similar car for my daily ('95 Z28) as I built mine back up and that became a project. Wonderful. I'm actually at the point where I'm selling the Z28 and looking to just buy a new reliable daily.
My cringey thing I used to do is make excuses for my car preemptively. I got a V6 automatic Mustang right at the end of the S197 run, because I loved the way the design looked and they only had a few left on the lots. The constant "bro shoulda got a GT" and "why not a manual" comments got to me and I started always saying "I wanted a GT, but ..." as if that would make any difference. Now after many years enjoying the hell out of that car, I realize I don't care that it's a V6 auto, and I don't care if anyone else cares either. I like my car. I look at it in parking lots and go "damn..." and that's what counts. If other people are V8 snobs, they can go get a V8. Next sports car will definitely be a stick though, I really did want that :P
Dude, I do get waves on the cub like a lot. It’s cool. Recently I was riding it and I saw somebody I’d like a small scooter and I was like holy crap there’s somebody out here and somethings smaller than what I have and I gave them the wave and he waved back and that was cool he was coming off of a bicycle trail.
I do actually get a lot of very nice compliments about my car but I reckon it’s because I’m literally the only Volvo enthusiast to go to car meets around town. I have made some stupid decisions with my car but for the most part I’ve found sticking to myself and just enjoying the car is the best way to do it. No one else gets it and that’s just fine with me.
I can agree with daily driving the most car guy car kinda takes the fun out of it
Yeah, I had lots of ppl try to tell me this 5 years ago, but having finally spent time away from the "Main" car, I actually appreciate it more when I do drive it on weekends.

Bro Kei cars are legit so fing cool more people should be into kei cars if their car people! Right now my dream car is a Daihatsu Mira TRXX, just so cool and practical!!!
Absolutely, i love kei kars, who invented them, idk i cant remember
daihatsu mira trxx avanzato r looks like a cute car might get it in the future if I can afford it
I always respect you for being open and calling yourself out when you change your opinions instead of just sweeping it under the rug.
I love seeing the evolution as a car guy and cringing together at dumb things we all did
As a car guy, your point about not being snobby is something I’ve also learned. I also totally understand loving car companies that aren’t the norm (literally Kia and Hyundai are the coolest car brands imo) so it’s nice to hear someone who has a following say that
You ain't kidding about the kdm cars. They killing it rn.
@@Pika_Gabe Yea, killing their customer base with a lack of immobilizers

The new Korean cars look great. I’ll trust them depending on how many I see on the road in 5-7 years
especially because you can imprint on a car manufacturer for no good reason. I love Opel but i couldnt tell you why
I think one of the best parts about dailying a normal grocery getter is when you get in your weekend car that’s all souped up. you really appreciate every little detail in it
mad respect to anyone who can call themselves cringe ngl
Dang went from a z06 to scooter, mad respect.
The fact that he's driving a supercub makes it a LOT more fun.

If you want to race use a track
Great video! Love the OST, so much nostalgia!

My biggest regret is obnoxiously revving my engine when I was about to turn off my car. That led to a rod saying, "I'm outta here!" and me getting a new engine
Lol, what car was it bro?

And maybe the firebird is just a more dailyable car but definitely something to consider since I make fun of all my friends with 'real dailies.'
i was thinking that "more power more better" now i enjoy driving my 90 hp youngtimer car cause it's handle so great and looks cool

The thing I most enjoy is that its so easy making friends with other (non-toxic) car people, its like a whole nother world and I love it. My only regret was putting too much money on a 2001, 4 door, 160k mile Honda Civic. That car was shitting the bed every year and tbh, ugly. Yes this comment is useless 😑
I have exactly 14 minutes left on my lunch break, how perfect this came out today and is 14 minutes long
Some of the best fun in the summer is giving ppl the thumbs up in traffic and complimenting their ride while your next to them. Even if they have a monster machine compared to you their face just lights up. Same thing with the motorcycle folks, they are the MOST fun to pull up next to. riders will absolutely chill with you and cruise with you. They will chat a little at every stop if there's time :D. Love the motorcycle folks
My biggest regrets are
5. Assuming people know how to properly race , like why is hard for someone to LINE IT UP, HONK 3 TIMES then go ? And they don’t even say good race or anything by flashing the hazards or throwing up the peace ✌️ out the window …. No proper communication
So because of this I mind my own business , I don’t complement peoples cars , I don’t race anybody no more , I don’t get excited if I see the exact same car next to me or anybody sports car

I love the fact that he loves his lil scooter and doesn't care what anyone says about it😂
I daily drive an 89 Iroc and I'm so fed up with it.
About the second point, i once saw a golf gti tailgatin an r8 at probably 200 km/h, and not in germany lol
peekers work best on trashy cars. it gives an aesthetic to match the car. full wraps work better on nicer cars, it matches the aesthetic
But ofc if i had a econo car (Dacia Sandero eg), i'd daily it instead of the Lancer for sure, i just don't have the option to do so xD At least the Lancer is a pretty usable daily, just not very fuel efficient.
i bought a daily driver to keep my mustang for weekends and while i did appreciate the mustang more, it just felt unnecessary to have two cars.
My biggest regret so far has been buying a car new and being so scared to drive it that I never did anything really fun with it because I didn’t want to mess up the paint. Anything I did that was fun always had a lens of “oh this is probably damaging this and that” so I was never as happy as I should’ve been
I daily drive my tdi it’s a project csr too but it’s fun because it’s so reliable
i remember i was really stupid forcing my bad opinions about rebadging cars when i was younger to my friend and then it just made me look like an asshole and i ruined street car culture for them. i would tear up and yell at my younger self to learn to not be like that
I love the way you think
I know way too much about cars and have been around cars since 4 or 5 yo
But never owned a sports car and never modded any of my cars because i know it is waste of money
People around me with 500 to 800 hp cars always complaining about having to buy parts or rebuilding stuff and having no money , no house of their own and way too much debt made me realize that.
I pretty much daily my 77 el camino but it is still fully stock so it actually does a fairly good job
My 5.8 is for road trips and show trips, my Civic/Saab is for in town errands and winter.
Bladed Angel every time I watch your videos, half the time I be trying to figure out where you’re driving at.
Not exactly sure how much staying in the right lane'll help when you drive an exact 1:1 scale replica of a Porsche 917LH, but I'll give it a shot.
