I'm still rocking the original Mantis I got when it first came out 5 or 6 yrs ago. Hip pinch like a mofo. Still need to upgrade my saddle but I've been living overseas for the past few years and only come back to hunt for like a week every fall. That being said I used the HPE last year and it helped a TON. I Wil say that I run the saddle without the leg loops so it does feel a little scary with the HPE spreading the bridge apart. Sometimes feel like it's a little unsafe but that's my doing by not running the leg loops. I also don't run it the whole hunt. Typically don't wear it during Primetime hours. It does in my opinion hinder a little of the movement of the bridge for those crazy acrobatic twisting shots. I pull it out for the long midday lulls

Yeah man you are due for an upgrade!! I think that’s a good strategy to run it during those off hours of midday lull or whatever. I also took mine off during “primetime”

That's the worst! I lost a $300 folding blade in the swamp a few years ago. I'm still mad hahahaha

How is the hip pinch with latitude method xl. Been looking at saddles for a long time and I’m leaning toward that one

@@mike-xh3yh I would get hip pinch in that saddle around the 4 hour mark. Pretty consistently, short hunts it was fine.

i still prefer running a longer bridge to reduce pinch angle but if folks like running a short bridge this is the way to reduce that angle and keep it short.

Bullet proof, the only issues I've ever had was with the dial getting too tight to turn after 4 years, It just needed to be cleaned and it worked great again.

I was looking at this and thinking "I could make one....".... Then I said "Yeah, and spend $100 to do it before I get it right." HAHAHAHAHAHA I'm getting one!

Right! DIY projects always overrun cost projections lol, This is a low risk option IMO.
