GC...I remember that community. I was a Lieutenant Colonel of an Infantry regiment. We were doing a standard event when some French cavalry hopped on, so we engaged in a small skirmish. Eventually more came, so we called in some more of our guys. Fast forward 2 hours and me and my men are standing on boulders in the middle of a vast open field, firing on marauding cavalry as they tried to strike us down (without success). We eventually forced the cavalry off of us and made a charge at the main enemy force (by this time several nations and regiments). It was a bloody engagement which escalated into a full blown battle and It was awesome! For reference, I was a Lt Col. in Nassau, though I eventually left and became a Lt in the Spanish Cavalry.

It's actually very interesting how human behaviors and the evolutions of countries is mimicked in video games. Another example is a VR game called Rec Room, often referred to as a VR Roblox. While not as fully fleshed out as on Roblox, clubs (or as they're more often called, militaries) have slowly but surely been changing. When they were first added you had a few big ones and that was it (such as in real life the Roman Empire). Once they fell, smaller states emerged trying to gain power. In terms of social development they're mostly still in the early stages, with it often being dictatorships. However, democracy is starting to become a concept. It sucks that wars such as on Roblox can't be fought on Rec Room, and the only real thing that happens is militaries raiding one another's bases.

Now my life has moved on IRL, I recall fighting at those rocks over the memorable rocks at the bridge alongside the Swiss. Bro I used to be in rtouty's group (rtouty served as coast guard irl), he had to do everything himself but his decision to kick several officers led to mutiny of leadership and creation of Prussia
I was in The New Imperial Russia, which merged with France and became 9e. When France left GC we split off and joined Callahan's Prussia as the 3rd Landwehr. We were the best regiment in both of those groups because we were friends, we didn't treat each other like shit and just had fun. We did legit get the highest kill counts in most battles. Fyi, I was in 9e for this battle. We fought like hell in that church.
I used to be a Lieutenant in the Allied Airborne RP group led by TonyGroce before it was taken over by a notnotzees wehrmacht rp group in a whole hacking scandal when I was in middle school. There were so many amazing events that occurred and I was part of a failed attempt at taking over the group from the hackers that ended up with me losing access to my account and not playing roblox for 3 years.
I'm absolutely shocked that this old community is getting documented. I was a Cpt. in the 8e Cuirassiers and all the memories I have of the Fort du Rhin map are just pure.

I used to play the naval side of GC and genuinely was one of the best things out there. The British Navy really lived up to its name, I don’t think our ships or sister ships lost a single battle.
It would be great to see a fall of Saxony in Napoleonic wars video. about half a year ago Saxony fell of losing all its og command and there was some big drama about it. Would make a pretty cool vid.
