Heres some fun facts about Radahn: 1) He learned gravity magic just so he didnt have to abandon his scrawny horse who he had since he was young. 2) The horses name is Leonard according to the files. 3) When you summon patches to the fight, he'll take one look at Radahn and peace out. 4) The Chad literally CONQUERED THE STARS. 5) He was actually holding back the meteorite that falls at the end of the boss fight. And the meteorite may or may not be Astel (just a little theory I have). 6) He actually is a good guy. Due to Malenia's scarlet rot, he slowly went insane and killed anyone like what Jerren says before the battle. And the fact theres a festival to put the fallen hero to rest is just wholesome, sad and amazing. Edit: heres a new one: 7) Radahn doesn't have feet.
I think the meteor is Astel because he’s literally in the hole where the meteor strikes down. And he’s a being from another world so it has to be Astel.

I just started fighting him now. Playing solo it would probably be hard, but since it feels intended to be played with summons, I'm doing that and it's way more fun because it feels like a battle. In summation, after having beaten him, I feel like summons are definitely the best way to fight him. Running around the field in the second phase constantly summoning at a distance saps all enjoyment from it and I would never try it. Just summon at the beginning, play aggressive with the others handling aggro and poise, then in the second phase handle him with your remaining summons or solo for extra fun. It's the only fight in the series where I would recommend summoning, and for good reason. Best boss so far, can't wait to fight him solo on NG+.
...yeah dude. you're supposed to summon all the gold summon signs all over the place, over and over throughout the fight... it doesnt "feel" that way... it IS that way.
I'm not that far into the game, seeing this is fucking insane. Just his first phase alone is jaw dropping. Seeing him fly in like a meteor blew my mind. Can't wait to fight him
I had to change my claymore into a blood claymore with the bloody slash ash of war. Did him in 2 after that, I was only level 60 though I probably should have just leveled more before him
Took me like 80 tries. And that was with all the summons I used my horse the whole time on my last attempt and beat him so I'm not sure if that's what I had to do the whole time. I was using the golden halberd/grafted blade greatsword and I just kept getting one shot by most of his moves
He did though, he just didn't keep it in on this edit. Chat was teasing him for not being able to beat the boss without cheesing with summons and magic which he would brag about and be so proud of being able to do in every boss. He got mad, started saying chat was backseating so much that he was just going to end it right quick by cheesing it, however I would bet that the truth is that he said that just as an excuse for cheesing the boss after his pride got hurt by chat's teasing... And then he still ended up dying a few more times even after doing all the cheese strategies, which hurt his pride even further I imagine. But Charlie is a man of admirable humbleness indeed, he just got his pride hurt and lost his cool for a bit that's all.

@@heatchamps2011 His nerf wasn't very significant for damage, and for the most part had to do with fixing the hitreg on his swords to make them more accurate to the size of the actual models. @@prestigini3150 I guess it gets easy once you know the enemy and their attacks I'm just saying that it can get a little tricky when using it if someone isn't in the right distance or position since it's range works like a pyromancy in DS3 where it doesn't have much range as an spell would have and it goes in somewhat a curve instead of straight a head like most spells do, I see some similarities with pyromances than spells with that little curve that falls to the ground if your not in the right distance of the enemy

Heres some fun facts about Radahn:
1) He learned gravity magic just so he didnt have to abandon his scrawny horse who he had since he was young.
Edit: heres a new one:
7) Radahn doesn't have feet.
I think the meteor is Astel because he’s literally in the hole where the meteor strikes down. And he’s a being from another world so it has to be Astel.

Radahb has easily been the hardest boss in this game for me. Got hard stuck for 3 hours and had to leave and come back 10 levels later

I wonder how Melania holds up in comparison, since most were saying it’s a lot harder than Radahn
@@randomcrusader5632 I haven’t faced melania yet but I’ll give an update after I do. Radahn was especially difficult for me because I’m a pure strength colossal greatsword build and that’s probably the weakest build against him
@@randomcrusader5632I really feel like her boss fight is kind of based on luck since one of her attacks is which she sometimes performs is near impossible to dodge and also pretty much one shots you.
This fool beat this game so quick I haven’t even got to watch him play yet
Radahn took me the longest to beat in all of souls history. At the end of the day I charged in, spammed my blood slash art while praying that he doesn't hit. I got a bleed proc + stun right before he went into 2nd phase which resulted in me killing him before he entered stage 2. I don't believe I could've killed him any other way
@@soap.7931 Let me fix that
Dude. Blood Slash is nutty. Shit fucking MELTS.
What about Malenia?

I always laugh at the Patches summon😂he doesnt die he returns to his world
I'm starting to get ER content on my home page again and this reminds of the fact that many people including myself fought Radahn when he was at his most difficult. That was a wild wild ride.
I never expected a raid boss in a souls-like game, but Radahn surpasses all expectations in that category
ruclips.net/video/GcdoJCMKTdk/видео.html
I fought this guy by circling around on horse, my mini army rushing him down, and firing lightning like Gwyn down at him. Still took like 4 hrs of tries, awesome boss and tough as nails.
same here. even though it’s kinda cowardly it still felt great since that was what the game wanted you to do and it just added to the festival of war aspect
How did you fire lighting, can you use miracles on horseback?
@@yourfriendlyneighborhoodla2091 Yes, you can. Press triangle or Y + LB on horseback to put your left-hand weapon to your right hand (If you use left hand for incantations)
@@MrStrelecek You could also just put your incantation caster in your right hand and do it that way. But ya, you can cast any spells from horseback, and some you can keep moving, some mostly stop you like heal.
Radahn has probably the saddest and most wholesome lore in the game
8:46 he just stomps his horse into the earth's core 🤣🤣
If charlie had any levels in vigor to avoid one shots he would save himself so much suffering, but at the same time he seems to enjoy the experience regardless haha
Some of his attacks do enough damage to one shot regardless. I had 35 levels in vigor plus 3 different buffs that stack extra levels on top. So I was probably close to 45 or so vigor and still got instakilled by some of his magic attacks.
@@MintyLime703 I had like 25 vigor with radagons soreseal and only got one shot via the meteors and big slam.
Nah I had like 30 vigor and still got one shot lol
“Hardest Boss in Gaming History”
Malenia, Blade of Miquela: Hold my Rot…
that's what I was wondering.
1v1 radahn is harder
@@Joey-hs9ts Bruh, Radahn has one cheap move and thats the 4 meteors which are dodgeable with quick reactions. Killed him melee with no summons and no spirit ashe in 5 or 6 tries after finally dodging the fuckin meteors. Malenia is just a pure cheesefest. Almost undodgeable one shot move, self heal, a TRUE second phase, and overall just fuckin BS to fight. Radahn is piss easy in comparison lol
@@TheSiddster Malenia is also not to bad so long as you have a good build, or know how to dodge her. I mean they ain't easy, but to def not the hardest bosses in gaming history

Favorite Boss Fight in the game so far.
Even with the nerf I heard about, he still whooped my ass a lot of times.
Everything about this battle was epic.
Music, boss design, battle arena... just... awesome
it was epic, but the fight was a joke. All those summons made it laughable.

That's why I never understood the clout from beating these games when you really can just cheese a lot of it. Makes the difficulty feel superficial.
@@damienlee1165
You can, but you dont have to
You can kind of decide the difficulty, like using summons or not, cheesing if cheese is possible..
Beating the games legit feels great, played everything except dark souls 2 and elden ring is probably the hardest to me (if you dont summon or spam magic that is), but its also nice for newer people that dont have the experience to get a feel for souls like games and then ramping up
@@indigo7898 That's why I never understood the easy mode argument. There are so many built-in mechanics that make beating the main game in most souls games a lot easier.
@@JohnDoe-kn7ex
You just kind of do it for yourself, beating the game with whatever is most comfortable/accomplishing for you, whatever you enjoy most, its a game after all, should be fun in the first place
some like it more challenging, some just want to use their cool summons, the only place where it matters is on the internet where anyone will judge you from behind their screens :P
@@indigo7898 summons are in the game tho. Why would you feel cheap
I struggled a lot with Radahn. As a strength build it took me almost 9 hours to beat him.
second time around I used sword of night and flame and killed him in 2 tries XD
Wait until you reach Godskin duo. The boss was straight up not designed about meele builds. It is almost impossible to do solo with meele.
@@ststudios12345 facts bro. they made me swap out my dex bleed build for a night and flame faith build lmao
@@ststudios12345 godskin duo wasn't that bad for me, though I used mimic tear. It felt like one of the godskin guys would be pretty passive at a time when both were out and you could get a good amount of jumping r2's in.
The boss that comes after, on the other hand...
ststudios12345 it’s literally a 500x easier version of oristein and Smaug not even hard
“I don’t think using magic is a very fulfilling way to kill him”
*cuts to him on a horse using magic*
Hearing someone say and actually believe “there’s no way you can beat Radahn without summons” is hilarious
I never thought I'd see a raid boss in a Souls game. Charlie is an absolute madman for trying to solo him before figuring out that you're supposed to summon NPC's.
its funny because if u watched the stream you would realise he knew from the start that summoning was smart but he never did. Then after dying a fuck ton of times he still just wouldnt summon because he wanted to solo him then after awhile he decided to ONLY summon like he would just ride around the map on his horse trying to summon only without even trying to melee him lol. Like the first time he got him to his second phase he didnt even get to see his new moveset because he was so far away from him trying to summon
what do you mean you're supposed to? I just did it with no summons, albeit at somewhat of an overlevel (87, think its balanced around 70-75, charlie is WAY WAY underleveled here). I definitely don't think they made the boss with the intention that you're gonna spam resummon while running away the whole fight
lol this isn't a raid boss, this isn't even equivalent to one of those quivering/cowering lesser undead from the starting zone when you compare Radahn to Malenia. I one shot radahn at level 40. I'm level 130 now and still cant kill this bitch. The first time I've ever been close to just quitting a souls game, tonight's my last night trying to kill her that's how dog shit the fight is.
