- I fire up two strokes from 3 different eras and rail them around my backyard track! In this video; I hop on a 2000 CR250 2-Stroke, a custom built YZ Supermini with a YZ 125 motor fit into a hand built supermini sized frame, and a 1980 YZ125 for non-stop action. Stoked to be a new Red Bull Athlete; I have a ton of big ideas and I am excited to bring you guys along to the next level with Red Bull.

I think there should be a bike size inbetween a full-size bike and supermini, the smaller dudes would benefit from it so much
For really, I was too tall for my 84 KX80, but too short for 84 KX125(probably still am, haha).

Rather have a carb version 2016-2019 tpi n tbi is to much tech for a two stroke they burn up faster also they barley use any oil

Two stroke is still a better race bike than four stroke. If it wasn't then why does the AMA allow 250cc two stroke in the 450 class, but nothing bigger? Because if they had hp parity, there wouldn't be a single four stroke left on the pro gate. 300-325cc would render four stroke obsolete. Nobody understands engine math...

That 1980 yz125 sounds pretty strong for the year and technology. That supermini would be fun to rip. Just picked up a crf150rb to play ride on. Love how rev happy they are.

Oh man that YZ would be a FUN effing bike! Im just a little guy, 5'6" 140lbs, and I've seriously considered grabbing a supermini as a second bike to just really have fun on 🤘🏻
Many years ago bought a yz super mini for my then 12 yo son had a 112 cc darcy engine all the trick suspension, rims, wheelbase, thing was a rocket changed gearing rode in dez in so cal for 6 years. Never let us down

Go 2 strokes you never go back to 4 strokes. never met a bad 2 stroke bike ever. Half the strokes half the weight but twice the speed and twice the fun twice the power.

Does it deserve such the high prasie everyone gives it in the honda community or is it somewhat overrated ? I personally want a 00 or 01 because they are probably the sexiest looking bike made in my opinion

Cool video 👍 I started racing motocross in 1975 Honda Elsinore. Silver tank and green stripe. Miss the sound of two strokes. I race a 80 YZ -250 great bike.
