Anyone else notice how when he was showing the dueling tree steel plates that he was holding one by the “handle” and he had his finger straight and angled upwards? Trigger discipline follows us everywhere.
Absolutely love these targets. Very simple system for someone that wants to set up a home range, but compact enough to load everything up after a day of plinking!!
looks and sounds like a big weight has been lifted off your shoulders after quitting the ole 9 to 5 broski. Glad you will being doing youtube full time. you got my support along with many others. See ya on the next one!!!
I have some AR550 from shootsteel and I won’t buy anything but 550 for the rest of my life. The sound feedback and lifespan beats 500 all day long. The extra price is well worth it. I might have to pick one of these up and give it a try. I like where the bolts are located and the design of the hanger. Much better then a single centralized bolt.
I’m glad I have my back yard range, right off my porch. I’d hate to move all that steel around every time I wanted to shoot. Nice high dollar targets tho.
Just wanted to say I’ve been following your channel for a few months now and am a huge fan. Was very happy for you that you’re able to make it your full time job. I’ve not shot steel a lot because of transporting it and of course it’s not cheap. I decided to take the plunge and ordered a pistol falling tree and loved it! Then during their 4th of July sale I picked up a couple of their rifle ADAP targets and have to say, WOW, they are hard core. Thanks for the review and the product suggestion. I’m very happy.
I feel like the top part on the 2x4 should go 180 degrees so the base is at the back of the pole, instead of the front. Wouldn’t that prevent tipping the whole thing over a bit easier?
Wassup man i enjoy your videos I get lots of info from them but I’m really stuck between the T-Post mount from MK MACHINING (spring loaded) and the AR500 Target solution 2x4 Mount (non spring loaded)....Huge difference is the spring on the MK as for the TS it hangs without the spring. They both will end up being the same price even after the Xmas discount. I really want that ping sound will the spring make that difference? The TS has the Easy disassembly which is why it’s currently ahead in my pick, Tpost looks like a back ache trying to remove from the ground....They both are able to add more mounts to either t-mount or 2x4. Please try to reply before 1130pm PST as the XMAS deals end at midnight thanks!
Love tatargets steel. Their stand designs are well thought out. Love the fact that I can shoot steel or paper by just pulling out the steel and 2x4 and dropping the 1x2s in the front. Definitely eager to hear your thoughts on the dueling tree.
The dueling tree is outstanding. I have one and ran hundreds of pistol shooters through it on my annual “Zombie Shoot” at my gun club. The tree eats rounds and shows no signs of damage after about 2,000 rounds in one day.
How far apart do the mounts have to be for the 1x2 uprights for cardboard targets?? Can’t find anything online, a friend of mine is building stands for me and I need to give him these dimensions. Anyone know?
Great video! I'm new to shooting and still catching-up, but this seems to be really involved and a lot to drag around. Are there similar targets that aren't so heavy and require so much installation?
Have you ever thought about painting a few targets and some brighter or reflective colors? I'm just curious about night shooting......🤔 I don't own any land as of now but if I did I'm sure I would like to do a little bit of shooting on a Saturday night. 🤷
Bro thank you for that coupon code! I was going to have to wait to buy the dueling tree but now I can get it today Like ur Chanal you have a dope set up
Looks like your setting the targets up facing the wrong way, seems like most of the richocet will be going down towards the rest of your stand, instead of having the entire stand behind the dead zone🤷♂️ maybe I’m wrong
Is this on your own property? We are searching for house/land in PA but need to make sure we can setup backyard range legally/safely (on our own property obviously) If this is your own property, what township is it? And a few comments on shooting on your own property, legalities etc..
xCaPz +1, as this could be a huge liability. I have a 80 acre farm and it was pretty ridiculous, 1, to find anyone who really knew as there was no zoning that would pertain to my location for a “range”, but to be covered I added a rider on my insurance policy just to be sure. Lots of no trespassing signs, and basically enclosed it and secured it well. Has very high berms, good drainage, and lots of gravel. All asid and done, cost was about ten times I was expecting. LOL, I could have joined Panteo Sporting Club for way way less for lifetime membership. But it’s an hour drive, whereas I can walk out the backdoor and go shoot and train as wants and need require.
The carriage bolts need to be AR500 also...for the people that aren't real accurate. Also, the 2X4's seem like that would get shot up...by those same crappy shooters. The paddle setup is best.
What I don’t get is I’ve seen plenty of videos where they shoot at steel targets and they go a few feet away and shoot it with a rifle how do they do that?
Talon Sei oh right on. That makes sense. So you can shoot within 20 feet or so with 556 as long as you use frangible ammo? Is frangible ammo useful for self defense or is it just more about range shooting? And thanks for replying!!
Heading to the casino with 15 bucks in my pocket, if I win i'm getting some steel. Wish me luck. Actually going there for a party....but ya never know? Nice set up Talon!
Sorry guys...i know these r high grade, but they r just not affordable. $600 for a dueling tree? Well no money left for gun or ammo! Way too much.....they r plates of steel, come on now.
Anyone else notice how when he was showing the dueling tree steel plates that he was holding one by the “handle” and he had his finger straight and angled upwards? Trigger discipline follows us everywhere.
good eye hahaha

I'm about to build this, thanks for the great idea!
Please do a test on 3/16 ar500 thick bulletproof steel to see what it can take.
Thx for the vid, been looking into shooting steel and now I know what comp. I'll go with. 👍
We use there Steel targets at Green Hills sportsman’s club. The plates all hold up awesome!
Nice setup! Awesome to hear ur gonna be up there more
Cant pull up tactical website. Are the out of business? Where in Pa are or were they? Great videos!
Can you make a video of what calibers will move the rifle paddles on the dueling tree?
just stumbled onto your channel. What part of PA are you from? also a PA res here. working on setting up my target range now as well.
Could add a little dynamat to the back of the plate to deaden the sound if you find it too loud for recording purposes.
What part of P.A are you in? I'd love to check out your range, I'm a big fan of my TA mini A dap. Definitely looking to expand on my lineup
Awesome set up bro, I have some steel targets but don't have many options here in South Florida. Hopefully I can move in the near future.
I’m from NH and looking to do the same sort of setup! Thanks for the share, gave me so great ideas!!
Bro that is so badass. Dueling tree is gonna be hella fun
I've never used steel targets before, but your review of these targets was awesome! Put 'em on the wish list!
Yay Pennsylvania!!
I have those same targets they're good targets for sure I'll be buying a few more
I have to get out of NYC, I'm missing out on a lot of fun.
the round bases are made from dust collection angle flanges
Definitely need to get me some of these to take to the range with me.
Sweet targets! I think I like your white Sunday gunday shirt better than my grey one. Any idea on when you'll have them for sale again?
@talonsei looking for a 50cal check out safety harbor firearms
Nice setup:) Just a suggestion, I would paint one side of the moveable targets a diffrent colour(red fe)
Greetings from Switzerland

I seen them at Knob Creek very nice quality products!!!!
Much cheaper to just build your own, there are improvements to be made here anyway. Very cool range though
Pretty solid setup guy.
Man can’t wait for the sgd on those.
Shooting Steel! Nothing Better! 🐼🐼🐼

Well, your checkbook took a hit with this video! Or, someone hooked you up with some sweet steel.. I'm a lil jelly. Aint gonna lie!
Very nice set up

Dope af bro 👌 that boy got like 2gs worth of targets right there lol
EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!
They have 2/3 magnum 3/8" whole system and plate only 200 if that's expensive for you find another job
@@nekiafontanez1661 snob
Is not that Expensive. you only pay once. They last forever.
Cool setup, but what was wrong with the Toxic Targets?
Where in PA (poconos) can I shoot at. Game lands is boring and I don’t want to pay a membership. Any information would be great. Or help
I like to see how this is going to do with the Atom Smasher!!!
Great video! I'm new to shooting and still catching-up, but this seems to be really involved and a lot to drag around. Are there similar targets that aren't so heavy and require so much installation?
Lol welcome to the struggle
Where did you get them at
Clicked on the link for them and the page can't be found
Hot gun in the summertime! Enjoy, Talon.
Good video man keep it up
Have you ever thought about painting a few targets and some brighter or reflective colors? I'm just curious about night shooting......🤔 I don't own any land as of now but if I did I'm sure I would like to do a little bit of shooting on a Saturday night. 🤷
White is bright enough and I never really shoot at night
Talon Sei So white is just right...... 👍🤘
Talon Sei 😁😁😁
Bro thank you for that coupon code! I was going to have to wait to buy the dueling tree but now I can get it today Like ur Chanal you have a dope set up
5 star video
I actually saw an ad on this one, thought I was watching the wrong channel 😂
nice! hoping to have a set up like that!
Pod cast and a video in the same day!! Love it! Keep up the good work man. Love seeing the channel grow :). How do you like the yojimbo 2?
Its a cool little blade! Had it for awhile now.
Talon Sei thanks for the reply. Think I might have to pick one up!
where does all the missed bullets go?
What kind of knife is that? 😎
yes his back home
Those targets are an awesome set up 👌
Is there gonna be a .50cal coming🤔 Maybe BMG ?
If your going to repaint them do orange first then white you’ll be able to identify where your shots are hitting 🤙
Talon do you own this property or is it like public land?
I'd like to get a few of those.
Nice setup bro
Can't wait
First steps to building shooting range?
I'm in the middle of building a range. If you still have these targets how about a 1 year update?

Anna Kuznetsoff did you ever find any info on this?

good vid dude!

Guns we haven't seen yet? You saying you been keeping stuff from us?! :P
For some reason I have a feeling you will be getting a 50 BMG soon! 🤔
Nice video.
What I don’t get is I’ve seen plenty of videos where they shoot at steel targets and they go a few feet away and shoot it with a rifle how do they do that?
With frangable ammo. This video I'm shooting FMJ which is why I stay back at least 20 feet or so
Talon Sei oh right on. That makes sense. So you can shoot within 20 feet or so with 556 as long as you use frangible ammo? Is frangible ammo useful for self defense or is it just more about range shooting? And thanks for replying!!
So now, we need an update video on the state of targets...and tacticalar targets are all new and updated now.
Did you ever review Half-cocked Target's?
What’s the closest/safe range to shoot these steel targets with my ar15?
It's recommended to be outside 100yd however I have shot them much closer and it is still safe due to the hardness and design
Just bang bang bang
Ohhh shit a dueling tree?!
Anymore discount codes for ta targets purchase?!?! Hook it up bro.
“TalonSei”
so i take it those TOXIC targets were trash ?
That Sunday Gunday never got filmed I take it. I just looked thru dozens and dozens of your videos but no TAT target shooting video as promised. 😒
Because you’re on the wrong channel. ruclips.net/user/SundayGunday
Bro where are you shooting at?
10mm AUTO Talon!
Heading to the casino with 15 bucks in my pocket, if I win i'm getting some steel. Wish me luck. Actually going there for a party....but ya never know? Nice set up Talon!
Great review can we setup a range day would like to meet up I'm in NJ but I go shooting in PA. 😎👍
Love u man
♥️♥️
Man I fuckin tweaked! Just bought a target and forgot to use your discount!
I bet he's gonna shoot the atom smasher in his upcoming video
funny how he put all the bases on upside down
Sorry guys...i know these r high grade, but they r just not affordable. $600 for a dueling tree? Well no money left for gun or ammo! Way too much.....they r plates of steel, come on now.
You didn't shoot them?????
Awesome but hella expensive
JokerAQ13 230 bucks isn’t expensive at all
How tall is your, 2x4?? 4 feet?
5
Well thank god the cardboard that is being used to deliver steel stayed in good condition!!!
Time for a shed and a hand truck. Your going to get really tired of moving all that steel over and over again.
