🔥🔥 This is a nice investment.. Once up and running, people will travel just to rent out your range... Plus, you have enough land out there to rent out for events and construction companies to store heavy equipment, trucks, RVs, and a portion of that can be turned into a golf course if you choose. Vision is everything....

Very nice man!! My buddy has a nice 2 mile range but this is a notch above! Dirt work is a huge cost when the ground hasn't ever been worked but his brother does that for a living in the oil field so worked out. We donated a few old trucks and beater cars for down range as well. Might have to break out the 7mm if the wind dies a bit! Lol
I have been an archery tech since age 16 and now into the shooting and then youtube wich i slack on cuz a cerekote business got in way ! 😂 but then this year instead of competitions i Broke my leg almost lost my foot! That's the take I am getting from watching his videos. Like he's the guy next door that would help you fix something in your house. Just enough acreage with enough line of sight to stretch out to 1500 or 2k yards and small covered structure to shoot from would be like heaven for me lol. @@kgchrome I have. Had my first "possible" at 600m with a No.4 in 1980 with open sights. Won Young Soldier with an SLR there in 1987. In the Queen's 50 for 13 years, before retiring, so a week each year on Century range. Not much gun wise I haven't shot there. I've spend a load of time on ranges, UK, Germany, Denmark, France, and USA. I'm less competitive than I used to be, so tend to stay off ranges. UK handgun ban was annoying. I do like an SMG and GPMG. Clays good fun too. However, give me The Collector's range for a week and we could have some fun. I used to build CQB ranges for my troop's training; sort the danger area out and then use your imagination. Reactive targets, fall when hit, are great.

Plus showing the cost is a positive to me as most peolpe don't know the intrcacies of building a range thogh many will bitch thinking you are gloating. And what you are building looks awesome. Expecially like the "jungle walk" area, i.e. the canyon. Not many folks build a jungle walk on their ranges. Put a rudimentary road in it and use it for firing from a moving vehicle with reactive targets. Perhaps a few portable building facades also (sort of a mini Hogens Alley). Night runs will be great too. The old Knob Creek jungle walk was a big hit for attendees. One point if I may. You may want to put in shade shelters at the remote locations where you aren't going to be putting in buildings.
Having your own is the only way! I had stages pulleys counter weight side moving targets, pop up targets that are amazing and cost nothing to make. WE NEED TO TALK!!!

Especially that you share your collection with us online. I’m writing from a hospital bed after having my 6th spinal surgery, I’ve been here for almost 7 weeks recovering. My dream and goal is to be able to go shooting at my club within the next 3 to 4 months. Dreams and goals do come true. Awesome dream, come true Boss. May I suggest building the holding frames behind the target, like a basketball hoop, but completely protected from shots. Also I would paint the target frames, the same color as the burm for a clearer target sight focus, depending on reticle choice. The possibilities for reactive electronic targets is endless with an imagination 😉. Cheers Blessings.
And possibly sacrificial bolt on plates in front of the frame downlegs. Or turning the downlegs 45 degrees for deflection of shots instead of taking them on full frontal.
You should see if you can put a solar panel and lights around each of the targets for a new dynamic of shooting at night and also to power the Flashbang!
Glad you can build your dream gun range and have been blessed to make the money to do it which is awesome. Setting up targets in the ravine would be a blast 💥 and I wish I was younger and in better health because that would be fun. Your one mile range would be really great with a IPSA size man target on a T post should work even with the cows 🐄. That is kind of funny thinking about worrying about the cows 🐄 knocking over your targets. I agree with your wife about the AC lol 😂. If the humidity is high with the heat I discovered this year I have trouble breathing which sucks. Great job and looking forward to see what you get done. Understand about the extra cost 💲

We started putting angel iron on the front of our target stands so the bullets would deflect, over time they get holes all in them
