    If your height adjustment doesn’t change the distance between the paddle and the bowl there might be a mechanical problem with it. Also, hearing your 600 run made me think you have bigger problems. Watch “Mr. Mixer” and listen to some of the mixers after he has fixed them. The only noise my K45 Classic makes is the fan/air noise from the motor. No whining. He also has an after market spring/washer fix where the paddle attaches to the shaft. Apparently this was removed in 2016 for some reason. My K45 has it as it is much older. I wouldn’t think displacing the paddle off it’s locked position to “lower” it would be good. If you do that often maybe that’s why the gears in your 600 make a whining noise. Check out Mr. Mixer, he is the be all and end all to keeping our beloved machines in good shape. He has many good tips.

    This worked great for redoing the shower/bathtub of my kid's bathroom. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfiuHoZJo3bgdVPFRxQ-iqPpfbEHl2cYt I didn't like the guide, so I took it off. I just used a fine tipped sharpie on the tile and followed that line. It does make a wet mess, and once I started looking like I wet myself I started wearing a towel and apron while cutting. The blade it came with worked great until we wore it out. It was better than the replacement one we bought. I tried looking for just their blade, but failed. Not really for larger tiles unless you stack stuff on either side to support the tiles. Anyway, would definitley buy again.

Earlier I had a smaller bowl there was absolutely no problem.😢. I used to be great kitchen aid fan. But now no more. I would never suggest anyone to go for kitchen aid

  • @TrailToughTrailers
    @TrailToughTrailers Год назад

    I would think one could figure out a way to keep the washers stuck on the pins without them getting lost... Also, I would be concerned the paddle loosened and set down in the bowl would wear out the bottom of the bowl / wear the beater. I do like the ideas though!!!

    • @ninainthekitchen1455
      @ninainthekitchen1455  Год назад +2

      Hi T, there are rubber washers that will stay on the pins. I just wanted to demonstrate that it was a very common item. Even we (someone with no handyman skills) had them in our garage.
      At the time that I made this video, I worked as a chef i n a professional kitchen, I would not trust that anything as small as a washer would remain with the mixer for very long. There are too many hands involved. We actually lost an inversion blender because someone on the kitchen staff clean-up crew didn't know that the head detached from the base. You know, the thing with an electric cord... hello! 😂
      Lastly, I can assure you that I would never recommend anything that does harm to kitchen equipment. I have used these methods for years without any problem.

  • @guitarzarfun

  • @UncleChester

    The problem is not with the mixer, the problem is with the bowl. Every time you snap it into place you put a little more downward pressure and every time you load that bowl up with dough the blades are pushing down. Hence, they are causing the ears of the bowl to bow upwards and the bowl to get further from the blade. Bend the ears on the bowl downward, problem solved on everyone's mixer.

    This is by far the worse mixer I have ever used. We bought this for $599 a year ago and had used in for less than one year and the roller stopped turning while the motor is still running. I waited a month to bring into repairs due to Covid and the holidays and the warranty had just expired. They told me this is a known problem and repair cost comes to $400+. Because the warranty expired they are not covering it. What a SCAM!! If this is a known problem, why did they focused on the marketing in selling a colourful and fancy looking mixer to the public instead of engineering a good quality mixer and fixing the inherent problem??? I will never buy another KitchenAid product ever again and will tell everyone I know to do the same. Shame on you kitchenScam!
