I have a question if u are charged as an Adult when u committed a crime as a teen does it follow u as u grow up? In these cases they never chat with a child, its an adult police officer they are chatting with. They go to a home and there is NO child there, its an adult police officer. No child was ever put in any danger in these operations. No overt act has been committed because its a ruse. In essence, they are being arrested for THINKING about committing a criminal act and on the POSSIBILITY of some future criminal act being committed. I'm not defending or sympathetic with pedos at all, I'm just pointing out the issues with these Orwellian "think crime" tactics. If you can be arrested for "thinking of doing something wrong", it becomes a slippery slope. Have you ever read Orwell's 1984?

I’m a community theater actor. Several years ago, I was shocked and outraged that someone I performed with in several shows was arrested for looking up/distributing child porn (I found out when his mugshot was shown on the 5PM news). One of the reasons I was upset was because of what you said - sometimes the person you hang out/work with a lot and least suspect could end up being a pedophile.

Most fucked up part; his wife was also a teacher at that same middle school.

As a gay guy, this is my take on this:
When I was thirteen, I knew I wanted guys, not girls. However, I NEVER wanted a 40 year-old to teach me anything.
If you're old enough to be that person's parent, they're not interested in you for sex. They're a police officer. 😂
These decrepit middle-aged men don’t seem to understand that a 13-year-old’s idea of a hot *older* guy is the hotshit D1 baseball player their college-aged brother is rooming with, and not so much these sad, fat, visibly aging suburban dads.
Even if they were talking to an older women in this way it is disgusting and creepy no matter what!! These men are delusional to think any women would be okay with a man talking to them like this.
The scary thing is that you see these kinds of guys on dating apps all the time: no self control, immediately sexual, etc. I always have it in the back of my mind that they talk that way to young girls online too just because they have no lines they wouldn’t cross… wanting to hook up is one thing, but immediately going sexual in conversation without prompt is a red flag. If you wouldn’t say it in person don’t say it online.

I worked for the government in the State Department for criminal justice. I was in the department of probation and we had so many people who were either pedophiles, child molesters, or any kind of sexual assault that involves a child. It was back in the late nineties when we had Mary Kay Letourneau as well as other serious predators. The officer who had to be the probation officer was really good at his job because he had a studder, so that made people feel more comfortable in talking with him about what they were doing and how they were doing it. I can’t believe that it took so long for them to realize that they needed to get involved with the situation because children were being sexually abused. Every single day we had different people who were trying to be sexually involved with a child. Now that technology has exploded we have a big problem that is a serious warning to parents to make sure they check their kids computers and make sure they are safe. 😢

30 years old nowadays ain't the same as 30 years old several decades ago. You're fine, 30 is still young. There aren't as many expectations placed on 30 year olds now compared to back then. When I was a kid, most of the adults I knew were homeowners with at least 2 kids and married between 23-25. I wasn't even close to accomplishing all that by the time I hit 25 lol. Having my own apartment and two dogs was the closest I ever got.

From what I’ve discovered about the
Decoys on both TCAP & HVP
The “Me, my Mommy, & my Daddy” Decoy wasn’t a cop or in the police academy but he did have some kind of connection to the police force and was the only decoy to actively lobby for the opportunity to play the decoy
That's so unsettling - scary to know there are people like that attacking children. He had a knife on him and was going to take her to a hotel to do awful things to her

These perverts need to be under the prison. They are walking around our parks and by our schools. It's so scary.
We need to actively push at every level of government for stricter and more punitive laws, the pesos are literally everywhere and they must be rooted out just like rats and cockroaches.
I think putting them in prison is probably enough, being that putting them under the prison wouldn't be possible without the major expense of raising the whole prison off the ground, placing the pedos under it, and then lowering the prison back down into place upon them.
@NVMVNV I'm only questioning the OP's suggestion to put these people UNDER prison. I just don't see how they could get the whole prison up in the air to put these guys under it without incurring huge costs.
@NVMVNV I know that there's companies that can raise houses and move them and that costs thousands of dollars. To raise a whole prison off the ground must cost hundreds of thousands. I just don't think it's practical to raise a whole prison just so you can put people under it.
