Ive heard a lot of people say the A6T is great for beginners, my first mic was an onn podcast mic but is horrible at blocking out background noise, and its just not a good mic for gaming. I have the A6T sitting in my mailbox right now, excited for it and this showcase of the mic made me even more excited, thinking about moving to the A8 next time I upgrade!
Fifine has really outdone themselves with their microphones. I was Highly Surprised. Noise Canceling is A1. The one of only thing higher priced microphones have on them is the build materials. Higher end microphones are heavier and made of metal. Necessary? Not really. And the best high end microphones allow you to change pitch highs and lows. Necessary? Not really. Most people have mixers or editing software to enhance audio. So they say it's a good beginner microphone for those reasons but they aren't really necessary. Fifine amazed me. They can sound just as good as my Dynacaster which I paid 4x the price.
TAM8 (AM8 with stand) has slightly scratched stand damaged by delivery and the store wants to sell it for 60$ now... I think this is a very good option...
AM8 and K688 are the same, except for the shape and RGB, I had the A6V for a while now, sounds great for the price but the RGB lightning annoys me. I went for the K688 and I'm really happy, looks sober, professional and sounds great even on USB.
Thank you very much for the purchase and for sharing the insight! But AM8 and K688 are definitely two different mics lol. Anyway, thanks again for all your support!
Does the dual output (USB & XLR) of AM8 operate alternately or can they be used simultaneously? If they can be used simultaneously, is it possible as a backup in case one of them encounters an issue? How about K688? Can the USB & XLR be used simultaneously? I appreciate your help.
Good question 👍🏽. This might be possible if you have a recording interface for XLR. Let the interface record XLR while your computer, laptop, or phone records on USB. I have a Zoom Podtrak P4 so I am able so save audio to my SD Card. This is how I backup XLR Audio in case the computer messes up. This might work the same with USB & XLR. I will say you probably can't set your computer to take in audio from two different sources while recording a video. I will have to test this to be sure.
Thanks Ty, this was just what I needed to make my choice between the Fifine microphones, although I suspect your velvet voice would make a $5 Temu mic sound good 😊 Thanks.
What Boom arm do you have? I currently have the A6T and was looking at upgrading to the AM8, and based off this video it does seem clearer than the A6T. Great Video!
I have the Gator Frameworks Deluxe amzn.to/47YEh2o It's a great arm for any XLR microphone. If you upgrade down the line to a heavier microphone, you will be good. My more expensive microphones are heavier. 🙏🏽😌
Both will last for a long time, some users purchased the even older model K056 and used it for 5 years or more. Besides if you purchase from the official sales channels, it's covered by warranty as well!
I saw that you have the tank 3 in one of your shorts, any planned video in the works? Just wondering where it stacks up against these since im planning on picking one up soon
I did a review of the tank 3 ruclips.net/video/3uK8HRJsgSc/видео.htmlsi=2-SuSmjKTQB2B_fn I compared it to the K688. They were neck and neck. The plosive rejection was better on the Tank 3 after that the sound is subjective. Great sound and different but which is the better.... It depends on what your voice needs. I think the K688 sounds a bit deeper and the tank 3 sounds clearer if that makes sense. I hope this helps 🙏🏽😌
@@PieceOfThePieWithTy Thanks Ty and great review, That crispness, how it handles those plosives and also that build quality 🙏looks like insane value with this one
I purchased the fifine k688. I havent used it yet, but can you recommend what is the best arm for this mic and what else i would need to set up my voice overs?
Which mic should i buy am8 or a6t i need high quality mic to record my youtube videos ? I am soo confused that plzz help me and last I don't have any xlr or audio device
RGB lights or no RGB lights is the question you have to answer for yourself. After that which shape would you prefer for your videos. The sound and function are basically the same. I would probably go with the AM8 because I create at night, and it matches my back lights, lol.
This is my microphone. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My microphone is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
I usually only use noise reduction on my audio and cut the volume up or down nothing fancy. I use Capcut Pro for my all my editing CREATOR TOOLS: ► Capcut: www.capcut.com/t/ZmFq3GF4f/
The A6T comes with a boom arm and is usb only. If you want to plug and play the A6T is ready. If you go with the K688, you will need a stand or boom arm and potentially an XLR Mixer. Both sound great on USB Mode. The K688 just needs a bit more be great.
Since you mentioned the bundle, assuming you don't have the mic stand ready. With the budget of the stand and the K688, it's almost double that of the A6T. So if you just use it for gaming, and your use environment is not quite noisy or you're not quite concerned about the background, then the A6T could work. Or you can consider the AM8 which comes with a base stand.
I haven't really compared them for vocalist yet. 🤔 I think they all do a good job of capturing your voice if you are going to use editing software. I can't give you an honest response on which is the best for it, unfortunately 😕
You must have some brighter tone up the top, so the K688 or the Tank3 is the choice. Since you also need to buy stands for them, with a limited budget, you can consider the A6T instead.

Any XLR/USB mics will work in XLR and USB modes at the same time. So there won't be any problem backing up the audio file.

it would have been great if there was no background music for a mic test. I couldn't make up if it filtered the background or not

My first mic was an knup k-917 (brazillian mic) and now i have a fifine a6v!
How are you liking your fifine microphone?
Does the fifine am8 or a6t last longer. I want something I can use for a while.
The AM8 can use XLR or USB so I would say that one has more potential. If you want to use a sound card or mixer the AM8 can still be used.

Are you planning to use XLR mode or USB? Fifine has its own low-profile boom arm that goes well with this microphone.
Any standard arm stand will just work fine with it, if you don't have any specific requirements on the position of the mic.
Which mic should i buy am8 or a6t i need high quality mic to record my youtube videos ? I am soo confused that plzz help me and last I don't have any xlr or audio device
A6T if you don't plan on getting an XLR interfae. If do plan on adding an XLR interface, the AM8 will be the better option
If your voice isn't super bassy, then for sure the AM8, especially if your use environment is also noisy.
Hey, how is the fifine k683 compared to k688, keeping in mind that I'll be using them both in USB mode for now
They're quite different types of mics, what's your main purpose of using a mic? Or what's the complaint of the K683A?
I haven't tested the Fifine K683 personally yet. I can't give you solid feedback on that one
@@PieceOfThePieWithTy what about am8 vs maono pd200x?
so, which one is the best out of those three and also, is there a difference between the fifine am8 and the am8T?
I'm not sure what the AM8T is... I chose the AM8 and explain why in the video 👍🏽
pretty sure the am8t just has the boom arm instead of the desk stand!
@choeung That makes sense. They added a letter because of the boom arm. 🙏🏽😌

Yes. You don't have to have the light on

You can't control or disable the lights.

Tough call, but if I had to use only one, I would use the AM8. Better for the Podcast style
Which of them would be best for music vocals recording
I haven't try singing or rapping on them yet 🤔... I would say it would depend on the type of sound you are going for.
@PieceOfThePieWithTy not instrumentals just some singing or rap
