    The miter saw tip: if you flip the extender bars around you can use them to support the wood on them, then the fold up flap will be on the outside and cans still stop the wood where you want.

    Very interested to see how the tile countertop comes out. I have always avoided tile countertops with how dirty the grout gets. Looking good as usual! Just remember there is no overbuilt just "built right"! Your drive to keep pushing is inspiring! it's got me back in the back yard finishing projects ( a bunch of landscape: patio, retaining wall, pond-stream-WaterFeature, boardwalk(it floods alot) sidewalk) I started a year ago. Check out aquascape could have a little pond that you can use for emergency fire protection. would also be happy to share what I have learned or help.

    I'm liking this project so far. As far as keeping your spices outside, if your heat and humidity is anywhere near what we deal with in the San Antonio area, keep them inside. Even in sealed containers from the store the humidity manages to permeate them and everything just turns to bricks of spices. I'm interested to see how this all works out as I will be building an outdoor kitchen with my retirement property in Alaska.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  Год назад +1

      That's what we've been doing, carrying the spices inside and out.

      @@TKCL Good plan!! I've ruined/lost a lot of money in spices by not doing that! I order some spices from John Henry (a company in Houston, TX that has some GREAT spices and rubs) in 10# bags. If you haven't tired it, their pecan rub is to die for!! I use it on chicken, pork products and smoking my own bacon. Enjoy my friend... I'm envious as I won't have my outdoor kitchen for another 2-3 years! Only in my case, instead of thunderstorms, I'll be growing in snow storms... lol!! Bill

    Wish, I lived next to old boy, I’d be proud to give him an extra set of hands to help him out. Plus I would learn a great deal too.

    Andrew you are the man! I’m so impressed with how you worked through this project from beginning to end. It really turned out amazing brother! Great videos and great job! Btw I just bought a new house here in Pensacola and one of the gas range burners was too high when set on “Low”. I would never have figured that out if I hadn’t watched your install video! Thanks brother- James

    I would suggest installing a screen type material around the bottom of the counter, to keep critters and insects out.

    Neat idea with the 12x24 tile top Andrew

      I'm trying to plan this out with as few of cuts as possible. 12x24 leaves plenty of room for drinks and even plates.

    Looking good. I have the same saw stand and I use the roller part backwards than you did so I can utilize the roller and still use the stop. I not sure if I'm right or wrong because I didn't use directions lol.

      I don't use directions either 😬

  • @juancagampang3534

    someone might have said this already, but at 7:35 if you flip that end piece around on your miter station, the roller will hold up the material while also working as a stop. That way the cut piece wont fall to the ground after you make the cut.
