    Andy thanks for another informative video. Question number 8 is the key to this printer. Glad to hear we can get on preproduction order list.

    There is one question that i think everyone has forgotten to ask and i have not seen it addressed in any video. If the F-1070 is for beginners and novelists. How long can it sit without printing and not have cloged heads?

      It's advisable to conduct regular nozzle checks every two weeks. When not performing these checks or printing, it's acceptable to power down the printer during this time.

    On average, how many shirts can be printed with the initial shipment of ink?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  3 месяца назад

      None, actually. The initial shipment of ink is used to charge the print head nozzles when the product is first set up. You'll need additional ink packs ready to start printing shirts.

    Will the 800ml inks work with these?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  10 месяцев назад +1

      The SureColor F1070 uses EPSON UltraChrome DG2 T55A cartridges which are 250mL. The printer is not compatible with 800mL cartridges.

    Does it come with RIP software and is it compatible with MAC?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  2 месяца назад

      The Epson SureColor F1070 does not come with RIP software included; RIP software is typically sold separately. However, it is compatible with various third-party RIP software options like Wasatch and ONYX, which are often available in versions for both Windows and macOS.
      For Mac compatibility, ensure that the RIP software you choose supports macOS, as the printer itself doesn’t have built-in macOS support without RIP. Popular RIPs, like Wasatch SoftRIP and ONYX, often provide robust color management and workflow solutions compatible with the F1070 and are available for both Windows and Mac platforms.

    Does it print on hoodies

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  10 месяцев назад +1

      Provided the hoodie can be loaded and the fabric is under 1" thick. However, the challenge lies in ensuring that all excess fabric can fit within the enclosed part of the printer. This may restrict the size capabilities to no bigger than a size large hooded sweatshirt.

    Only 1 White Ink Channel? This is a major issue and I know this. Been in this business since the first DTG printer was introduced and have owned almost every machine on the market. If it only has 1 white ink channel then its a waste of money. And whats the cost for a Replacement Print Head and Capping Station?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Craig, having less white ink channels will give the F1070 less speed than the other Epson F2270 printers that have more channels... but it will have all the same ink circulation technology and head maintenance technology. We don't expect this to be a disaster at all!
      The cost for the replacement printhead maintenance kit with the capping station is $30.

      @@ITSuppliesINC Whats the Price of a Replacement Print Head? I know its over $2000. And they will clog and need to be replaced, sooner than later.

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@craigcreationz The printer comes with 1 year of warranty so the print head cost to replace is $0. We'd recommend extending the warranty for 4 more years at $900 per year so that you don't have any surprise print head replacement costs.

    With all of the dtf printers on the market. Epson actually thinks this is a good idea. 10 shirts an hour. That's horrible

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  9 месяцев назад

      The SureColor F1070 is tailored for users handling lower volumes, while the SureColor F2270 caters to those with higher-volume needs, and the SureColor F3070 is designed for high-production environments.

      @@ITSuppliesINC There is no way to make a profit with this machine printing 10 shirts an hour. Maybe if you didn't have to pay electricity, $7k for the machine, inks, materials and time and cleanup sure. But after you factor all of these things in. This printer is a huge disappointment for this industry. It's like Cricut with there little cute machines. Yes they work but no they are not anything like a Roland or a Graphtec. Epson needs to just sell a dtf stand alone printer instead of pushing products like this onto there fan base.

      You really cant make a profit with this machine. It is slow and the ink cost is too expensive. @@ITSuppliesINC
