I do that most times im out on my normal mtb,BUT,im pushing 54 very fit,im seriously looking at one now,i want to enjoy my riding well into old age,if this is the way, then so be it 👍
Great video, lots of useful information. I've been looking at a powerfly 5 hardtail, but think a 4 may be sufficient for me. I won't be doing too much downhill stuff just some casual trails and uphills. I will now be looking into a 4!
Great Video. Answered so many of my questions. Very good job reviewing the features, Felt like I was actually in the store. Helped me make my decision on choosing a Powerfly 4.
The orange one is what i got last Wed, waited over a month. I really like it. I'm going out more often. Now went back to my bs for xs size for my son. They're still looking.
Dude thank you very very much for the video! I really needed this info and the way you explain it its just awesome! Thanks for being such a nice guy! Greetings from Chile!
@@goodluckchrisclark Got my 'rare' powerfly 5 and you're spot on about going to extra mile(s) I can go longer with more energy at the end plus it's way more fun
Nope, No i don't need an EBike. No one but the elderly or chronically injured should own one. Ebikes are for lazy fake bikers who don't want to have to work for their uphill. They don't earn their turns and most EBikes are so expensive that nobody would or should buy them as their main bike. Its a lazy toy for the rich snobs. They ruin our trails, their owners have no concept of trail rules, and the more Ebikes are pushed, the more waste we will have as you cant just keep them running for long at all. I see Treks and Scotts and Specialized Ebikes come in weekly in the winter and daily in the summer for motors and sensors and wiring and battery issues. I get that you literally have to say nice things about them to make your shop money. But EBikes are cancer for this hobby and community.
Oh wow, that's something else. I like ebikes my self, we have had almost no repairs or issues. That's why I like Bosch, I'm hoping a large successful company will prevent waste, and the class 1 ebikes with a 32kmph limit and pedal assist only are what I like, for the most part they seem to be only as damaging as a regular guy but I do think trail damage should be taken under consideration when allowing them select places
@@goodluckchrisclark This is why a lot of people don't get involved with the biking community. MTB specifically, too many rules and do not's. E-Bikes are awesome, and like electric cars pushing the industry forward.
have you read your own comment, you come off pretty snobby yourself. Don't be mad, just need to be better and saving your money then you can enjoy the fun.
Just bought the power fly 4. Absolutely love it. I’m riding 42plus miles a day.
Awesome to hear! They are such fun bikes

@@camperp195 if you’re close to Washington state I’m looking at selling mine. I have no time to ride now with work moving me around.

Both will do the job, if you have a line on a power fly 5 it may be a good deal

Awesome to hear!!! You’ll really enjoy the bike
Great review. Thank you! I’ve got my Trek Powerfly 5 2021 in Slate/Volt coming next week! Can’t wait 😜
Hope you enjoy it!

Good luck getting one!!
Yeah crazy wait times
Thanks for the info and review
No problem 👍
awesome video!
Is there is a major different between the 2021 vs 2022 powerfly fs 4?
2019 Trek Powerfly 9.9 Carbon for sale on craigslist in my area, is that a good deal? $4k US
Heck yeah, they hold value well and with pricing going up it definitely is
dude, when did you make a video run in the city area, I was waiting for that
I am 5'2" , 150 lb male , would the xs or small be a better fit ? If I can find one.
Small
Do you think that Trek will ever make a 30-33 lb. electric hardtail mtn. bike? Thank you
oh yes, the new E-caliber is getting there won't be long!
Is this just a Marlin 6 with a motor?
Pretty much lol, I wish they did one with the same e system as the townies and priced it at $2000
Meu sonho é ganhar uma bicicleta dessa tem alguém que possa me presentear com uma bike dessa.
Show all tha boys that were grafters
They are great looking bikes but at that price point they are also poorly spec’d
Paying for the Bosch system, and hoping you don’t need the better part spec because of the electric!
I'd prefer to see more of the details of the bike rather than a video of Chris.
Will do
don't lie to people, a dropper post is more valuable than a suspension fork...
lol sometimes it feels that way
Hell no,hell freezes over before i invest in an ebik....
Interesting I didn't think so many people would be against them

Why so bitter? Anything that makes cycling more accessible has to be a good thing. Don't be so elitist
