Love all your videos, watch with my son who races Yorkshire CX U12's, great how you explain the highs and lows etc. The wife now has a Ribble CGR-Al-E, first ride out yesterday and she was like 'The Rocket'. (This year she hardly rode with us because we were waiting so much - now it's the opposite way round!) Destroying me and the boy on climbs with ease, even when we managed full gas PB's she was way ahead. Looking forward as you say to the motor pacing that is to come - I even left off the bottle and spares yesterday and couldn't hold the wheel of the 'Laughing Assassin', that was riding flats to get used to the bike(more pain when she is back onto cleats).
Thanks Jon massively appreciate that! Thats absolutely mega, getting sarah the e-bike was the best decision we made. We had the same problem before she had an e-bike it was a slow ride with a lot of waiting, but now I get a good kicking up the climbs and I feel your pain 😂 However you will become a climbing machine trying to keep up 💪
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling rang Worcester bike centre today and they had my size and the black and grey one in stock, went and had a look and test ride, very impressed and came away after it was PDI'd I can't wait to take it out on the trails
Ahh cool I’m jealous may have to get myself a trek 😝😂... you should try over Caesar’s camp they have some good gravel tracks to get used to riding off-road and then can slowly build up to some of the single track, it’s good fun 👌
Unfortunately I don’t fly up hills 🤣 it’s weird getting used to going so much slower than on my road bike! Ah cool I’ll look that up thanks, I’m a big baby so not sure I’ll ever progress to single track but nice to be off the roads 👍🏼
Not even in turbo mode... wow... then the Rocket goes boss mode and looks back over her shoulder at you as she pulls away... 😆🙌🏽… that’s a nice bike... 🍻
I recently purchased a Powerfly 9FS fully equipped, and I love it. One quick question, I find it difficult to find water bottles that fit in the rack due to the tight structure of the frame. Do you have any recommendations on what you use on your Powerfly?
That’s great it’s definitely the best cycling purchase we have ever made! Yes we have struggled with this, sarah carries a small bottle which just squeezes in but is super hard to get out 👎 we are looking into getting a side loading bottle cage which should solve the problem 🤞
You’re a good Man Charlie Brown. Buying your wife the E bike before yourself. Need to go to therapy now. I feel like a bad husband. Delete this video so no one can see it. I hope my wife does not browse my history and see this video. On a serious note I love your enthusiasm and happiness. Thank you very much for sharing.
Best investment I have ever made… the wife loves riding the ebike, I get a good workout in and also get to ride my bike more 😃 worth every penny 😜 And next time I want a new bike I can just remind her of this 😂
To be honest I really don’t have a clue, would be best to check with trek but I think the big differences in models is the power system you get and also battery size for longer miles 👍
I just got the Red 2022 this month, and i am very happy with it. Nice video. 👍👍👍 Peace and love from Los Angeles.
That’s great 👌 literally the best cycling investment we ever made 💪

George think you need to up your training , looks like Sarah loved it , enjoy xx
I know need to train a lot harder now 🙈
In Italy Jayne hired the Pinerolo Nitro - and for sure, on the climb, it’s emotional to keep up 😂 Nice vid
Extremely emotional 😂 I thought I would be able to hold the wheel but when it gets steep it’s super fast...
Great video and comparison, going to get one soon
Best investment ever for us… highly recommend 👍

Ha ha love it 🤣 I just got a purple Trek too 😍 trying to find some very easy off road areas I can go!

😂 she was loving dropping me on the climbs 🙈
Haha brilliant video! Good effort the rocket 🚀
Terrible decision getting her an e bike 🙈😂
Haha great video and you have to create a race obviously where you get a head start
We are planning one, trying to find a climb that’s not to steep to make it a fair race and so I have a chance to win 😂
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling Haha can’t wait 😂
The first video of yours I won’t be letting the Mrs watch 😂😂. Looked good fun to be able to get out together in truth
Don’t blame you 😂 but in all seriousness it’s great fun... when I’m not being dropped 😂
Great video! New bike day but not for Giorgio! 😂. Bought the e-bike so they could train together 🚵♀️ but Giorgio’s now cycling solo 😂!!
I know every time we went uphill she just put it in turbo and left me 😂

That looks like a fun bike to ride. Just curious, what went into the decision to choose the Powerfly 4 instead of the Powerfly FS 4?
It’s a great fun bike and to be totally honest it was whatever e bike we could find stock of in a small and this was the only bike we could find 😅
looks great!
It’s sweet as 👌

AHAAHAHA so nice! Now you'll see how it hurts. GO ROCKET !!! 🤣🤣
😂 training with the rocket is going to be bloody tough now 😅
I dont get how the models work, its powerfly 5 2018 better than this?

@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling ty
What size did she get and what height is she. Getting confusing info on bike sizes.
She got a small and is 5ft3 fits bang on 👍
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling . Thanks for replying. Thought it must be a small looked perfect.
soo my disabled daughter has just bought one of these, there goes my legs
RIP your legs 😬 good luck 😂
She's finally come first 🤭😂
😂😂
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling sorry couldn't resist!
I want the Powerfly 4 too! Have you had a go?
Yeah had a go when we first got it... it’s mega, turbo setting uphill is epic! It just flys 🚴♂️💨 can’t recommend it enough
Put a bit more effort in 😉
😂😂 I need to up my training now🤔
