You literally deserve way more subscribers. Very well made and high quality video - with very useful information. I found the SRS a labour of love in some aspects, this TAC-41 definitely ticks more boxes and maintains that Silverback quality. I'll be getting one ordered! :D
One correction, Redwolf does charge shipping to the us so it’s actually over 400 if you buy from there. Evike has the gun for 390 tho and free shipping and it comes with an extra mag so it’s worth it to buy there.
I bought this recently but unfortunately I had feeding issues off the rip. I quickly found that the Gen2 feeding ramp was available and helps this issue. In full disclosure I read the manual after playing around with it and saw you had to put the mags in a certain way 🤦♂️. I can tell though that it’s gonna give my SSG10 a run for it’s money and it’s so much quieter! Got my feeding ramp in last night and my hotter spring so I’m pumped to see what this thing can do! Great videos man keep up the great work!
@@airsoftconnor i followed your recommendation to Redwolf for 350 and shipping to me here in the US is either 77 or $110 ahaha. Ill stick to airsoft junkiez for $390 shipped!
Have you seen the ls version? What is your opinion on that? And would you feel there are any modifications really needed? Or what would your advise/upgrade path be? Could you make a vid for a decent budget tac build?
Hi Connor, your videos have already helped me a ton with my own tac 41 (which i actually bought on your recommendation). I finally have it shooting straight thanks to you! Much appreciated. I have one question, the gun today just started firing without me pulling the trigger. Was seemingly at random when moving around. Any ideas what could cause that and how I could fix it?
Thank you for the nice comment! You might need to adjust your trigger screws. I had the same issue. I forgot which one it is but there is a video on silverback’s youtube channel! Those little screws come loose from time to time. Im going to look into the upgraded trigger!
My stock tac shoots like crap and is pretty inconsistent. Yes, I have cleaned it thoroughly and checked the alignment of all the hop and barrel stuff. What parts do you recommend I try to get it shooting correctly?
Hey man I just came across your video while researching the Tac41 I just ordered and I realized I’ve played with you at Black Tiger haha, what are the odds 😅 what is your home field? Hope to see you at Black Tiger again! Also great video, very helpful for someone just getting into sniping!
hello. The bucking is often press crooked causing the bb to deflect sideways. What is the solution. (I upgraded sba advanced hop kit, 80 degree bucking and gbb set)
You should look into the Well MB06, I have 2 one is upgraded and the other is stock I just used Plummer’s tape to seal it up and shots almost200 ft not 100% accurate but dose reach.
Hit basically every mark. My other gripe is that it seems.. rather proprietary. Buckings are proprietary, and with the 95% guarantee that you'll shred the bucking upon removal, means you need to buy a few sets of replacement buckings should you ever feel the need to do a deep clean - it's a one-way trip for the buckings. Additionally, the magazines are.. sensitive. I use taco-style pistol pouches that grips the magazines pretty tight - and the release tab is very easy to press, so they need to be facing up outside the magazines. I've found a couple times when trying to grab the magazines out of the pouches I'll press the release tab by accident, and spray myself with 48 BB's.
This. I'm worried about the long-term sustainability of this platform (if we can call it that, I don't feel it's mature/adopted enough). What happens 1,2, 5 years from now? Is Silverback going to be around for spares? Will adoption reach a point where 3rd-party ACM jump in?
Nice review man. Picked one of these up recently and played with it this weekend. My bolt guide area is all dinged up already from sloppy bolt cycling in the heat of battle. Wish they would have made that out of a harder metal and used a soft metal in the screw or something. I’m at 3.35J on the 110N at 0.45g. I picked up the Silverback advanced piston head and variable mass piston so I’m hoping the air brake will bring me down to 2.8J and make it quieter. Otherwise I’ll try some rapax springs. What kind of FPS consistency are you getting? I was at +\- 5fps, not great. Gonna try a lambda barrel and elvish RHOP patch and see what that does since the compression seems to be spot on.
I have a weighted piston in mine with an air break and my joules went down. I have a video on it (the how to make your sniper silent) and i chrono it before and after, i think i had a 2-3 fps variation. Teflon taping the hop up and switching the bucking will also help. All the tacs ive seen have dirty buckings from the factory. I also have a video on that too 😂
@@airsoftconnor Yeah my bucking shredded when I tried to remove it. I tried a maple leaf super hop but it doesn’t really work. Gave in and ordered a new barrel with an rhop. I’ll Teflon the bucking as well. With the maple leaf installed and no hop applied, fps is within +\- 1.5 so it’s gotta be the hop.
Hey. I would love to get one of the these things but don’t like it’s FPS output. If I’m gunna use a sniper I’m using all 450 fps. Can u point me in the direction of a spring that could help me fix that.
Can you please tell me how is the stock configuration performance? Can you put an ML170 sping and use 0.48 g BBS? Its really hard to find upgrade or replacement parts where I live
I only have a bigger spring and a aftermarket piston in my tac41 currently. Its very accurate stock but underpowered. I have a srs m170 spring in mine. I use .49s. It can easily hop .49s stock
Hey I just got my tac 41 because of your reviews and it’s great but when I swapped the spring to a 120 newtons/520ish fps .20 and it was super hard to pull back like impractical is there a problem with me or is it just hard?
Bigger the spring, the harder it is to pull back. So yes it should be hard. I dont know your physical abilities so I wouldn’t know. If you play at a field ask another person using a sniper if its too hard for the spring thats in it!
Just FYI, the TAC41 with its huge cylinder volume joule creeps really hard. With the 120N spring, 530fps on 0.2g (2.6J) with the HopUp off will be like 560fps with HopUp on, and about 3.5J with sniper weight BBs. I’ve got the 120N and the 110N and yes, they are both a huge PITA to cycle the bolt. RAPAX springs apparently have an easier bolt pull, something to consider. But if you’re trying to stay below 2.8J, you probably want a 100N and/or an airbrake piston head. The 110N shoots 3.35J with .45g. I’m experimenting now with the VMP and APH to bring the power back down.
@@nugweasle9743 good springs are debatable. But im not sure that they would fit. Silverback or rapax springs would be my answer. Remember you get what you pay for!
