Nice one Matt. We are blessed in Australia with the abundance of choices and no longer have the excessive import tariffs to protect a now no existent car manufacturing industry. As an example we have 10 (and still growing) more brands than the land of the free where any Chinese made car is taxed at a higher rate than basically any other country. So, with all of this competition and abundance of choices I believe this one (in both trims) will be about $10k overpriced. Especially considering its lack of history and potential poor resale value. Thanks Greg. Yep, the pricing is critical, especially considering the related Smart ($57,900 stating price) and Volvo ($59,900 starting price) seemingly offer a lot.

Totally understandable, and while Zeekr has stated that they will have stock of parts, it’s still a concerning “worst case scenario” situation in some instances.
Interesting, the repairer had been approached by insurers to repair BYD and indicated he “won’t touch them, quality of panels poor and parts difficult to obtain” he did say Volvo do have a good network of distributors so would only consider a Polstar or Volvo EV with the Tesla brands.

For the size it is, the EX30 is already 5-10k too expensive. If this is priced similarly, then it will be too expensive. In the case of the EX30, just by comparing it to even a base tesla model 3 (i’m not a tesla fanboy), objectively its terrible value for money. The tesla is bigger, more practical, has excellent range, and the advantage of the tesla charging network. It gets worse when you compare it to something like a BYD seal. The new Mini EV is even worse than the EX30 or Zeekr X in this regard too. I cant fathom spending 60k on an ev with barely 400kms of range and 2 doors.
Selling more than model Y is risky. Again if the new odel Y Juniper comes at same 60.000 price.....it's going to be hard to beat.
