Great Reaction Bisscute! In 1989 Jon and Richie Sambora (guitar player) did a performance at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards and Jon said later that their performance was what gave MTV the idea for doing the MTV Unplugged shows. It was just them 2 sitting at the front of the stage with their guitars and they sang a medley of 2 songs, Livin' On A Prayer and Wanted Dead or Alive. It was really a great unplugged performance! Hi Biss! I absolutely love your Bon Jovi reactions. Bon Jovi is the main reason why I became a musician. Definitely have to check out “wild in the streets”, “Blood on Blood”, or “Dry County” live in 1995 that was just magic captured on camera!
In the 80's bon Jovi was awesome. Tons of great music. You give love a bad name, love for sale, I'll be there for you, in and out of love, Born to be My baby. 99 in the shade. Great memories
Some reaction suggestions: Bon Jovi - Dry county (Wembley 1995 live) Bon Jovi - Always (Wembley 1995 live) Bon Jovi - I'll be there for you Jon Bon Jovi - Blaze of glory Alice Cooper - Poison Alice Cooper - Hell is living without you Whitesnake - Is this love Def Leppard - Love bites Little Mix - Secret love song (Live from Little Mix The Search)
I'm shocked you haven't reacted to Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" yet, especially if you can find a live version. It's probably their best known song and is amazing.
Ok...recommendations go...Welcome to wherever you are, Make a memory, Wanted dead or Alive, You were born to be my baby, Living in sin (live)....and the list never ends...😂😂😂
Hi Biss 😀 So 80's with that Synth into, big hair & the fog machine, it's their first hit that put them on the map when Jon sent a cassette to long Island's radio WAPP before getting the band together. The song was inspired by everytime Jon took the greyhound bus from jersey over to Manhattan & seeing all the teens running away in desperation , there are dark undertones to the lyrics that says it all behind the pretty face, but fun to rock out to which the 80's did so well. It's always been a fan favourite & often played live (b-side lay your hands on me 89) . Dave Sabo played guitar while touring it before being replaced by Richie, & later went on to form Skid Row , the favour was returned supporting Bon Jovi. While making the video for the first time they were execited but hated doing it , given that lame look , shoes that didn't fit the young niece with fire in her eyes & constantly being sprayed with grease to look like there sweating in the heat , it was very 80's to be hot & passionate & go after want you want , it wasn't that subtle back then. You've probably noticed there's also a longer version on the album, while performing it in 2003 Jon introduced it by saying ' if you see this song down on the beach, buy it a drink, it's finally old enough ' I like how he delivers those high notes racing to the end. They followed up with the cheese tastic video "she don't know me" Here's some more recommendations : born to be my baby , lay your hands on me , captain crash , living on a prayer, wanted dead or alive or blaze of glory solo, bad medicine , someday I'll be Saturday night, keep the faith & it's my life Thanks Bisscute 💞 🤟 ruclips.net/video/OEwU9PxbEW4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/NquproojyGQ/видео.html ruclips.net/video/JwL5gtWGWYs/видео.html
Believe it or not, the Bon Jovi band u see in the video is not the one that played the song 'Runaway'... it was recorded by Jon Bon Jovi (lead vocals) while he was still a local singer in New Jersey... the song became a hit in New York in 1983 as a Bon Jovi single, recorded w/ session players Hugh McDonald (bass), Tim Pierce (guitar), Roy Bittan (keyboards) and Frankie LaRocka (drums)... (Hugh McDonald joined Bon Jovi on bass in 1995 after bassist Alec John Such was fired) ... With a record contract from Mercury Records, Jon Bon Jovi had a potential hit song, but no band at that moment... He enlisted his former bandmate David Rashbaum on keyboards, and he became known as David Bryan... (the late) Alec John Such (bass) and Tico Torres (drums) were added... and finally, Richie Sambora (guitar/ backing vocals) joined Bon Jovi... the band finished writing and recording new songs for the first Bon Jovi album, which was released in early 1984 and the music video for 'Runaway' was shot and released to promote the album internationally... It didn't do that well in the US at the time, so Bon Jovi's manager Doc McGhee put the band on tour in the UK and Europe... Bon Jovi did very well in Japan by 1985. Jon Bon Jovi recalled that the band was not the best in concert cos they were new... It took a few years for the band to 'gel' sonically... but by 1986, their 3rd album 'Slippery when wet' became a massive worldwide hit.
This was their first big song. I think the only other big one you haven't done from the "Slippery When Wet" album, that had "Wanted Dead Or Alive" and "You Give Love A Bad Name", is "Living On A Prayer". It's one of their other classic songs that you have to do. Oh! And you should definitely do "Blaze Of Glory" too, which was a solo song that Jon Bon Jovi did for the soundtrack of "Young Guns 2". He's also in the movie. He tried doing some acting for a while in the 90s, and had a few good sized roles. I think "Young Guns 2" was the first movie he was in though, and he's only in it for a few seconds, and you have to know where to look, or you'll probably miss it. Ha! The Young Guns Movies are westerns that are very loosely based on the history of Billy The Kid and the Lincoln County War, which is a part of the history of the American West that's become legend, and many stories, movies, etc. have been told about it. "Young Guns" was kind of a more Hollywood retelling of the story, and had a great ensemble cast of a lot of the hot young actors from the 80s, including a couple favorites of mine at the time. Those movies were a huge part of my childhood, and "Blaze Of Glory" was a huge hit song, and the video was all over MTV at the time. I had an audio cassette of the single that I use to jam out to, listening to it on my Walkman, ha!
@@JohanHaagg I believe so, but I'm not really sure without checking. I just know that I've heard Jon Bon Jovi in an interview talk about how it was the first song he wrote that got success at the beginning of their career. When I spoke about Slippery When Wet, that was unrelated to "Runaway", if that's the confusion. That was just about the other two songs she's already reacted to, along with "Living On A Prayer" that I was suggesting.
Ooh! Yes, Living On A Prayer is a must - but the original 1986 album version, not that remake form the 1994 Crossroads compilation. Let It Rock and Never Say Goodbye are musts, too.
"In and Out of Love" is it good song and a cool video. The video was shot on the Boardwalk on the Beach in Seaside Heights New Jersey, Bon Jovi's home state.
this was thier first hit. Jon had to work in a radio studio as a janitor at night to get this song played, then he had to actually put the band together lol. like a lot of 80's acts, they got their start with some luck and doing it by just doing it themselves before they made it big.
I suggest these song above all the others. Songs maybe like Bed of roses: Never say goodbye, Without love, Blood on blood (about friendship) Songs more energetic: I’ll die for you, Dry County, Wild in the street, Bad medicine, Born to be my baby, Wild is the wind, Keep the faith Something different: If I Was Your Mother
One of my favorite Bon Jovi songs cause of the amazing keyboard play by David Bryan. So many great songs to choose from but I recommend Dry County, In These Arms, and Blaze of Glory. Awesome reaction Biss!! ❤🤘
In January 1986 I saw Bon Jovi open for Ratt! lol. Can you believe that? This song, of course, was the big draw for Bon Jovi then. What a career these boys have had. Would have never guessed back then that they would become one of the most iconic bands with mutli-generational appeal. Fantastic stuff!
Me too! Tulsa, OK. That was a great show from start to end. The energy Bon Jovi brought was phenomenal. The boys in Ratt were absolutely wasted but still put on one hell of a show. They went through at least a case of Budweiser haha. But I agree I never would have believed how big Bon Jovi became and I saw them open for Ratt!
@@andersgranstrom7128 I agree. It took me a few years to warm up on Ratt. I didn't realize how good they were until I sat and actually listened to them.
@@evilfantasy69 Thanks for sharing! Yeah, takes a while - but you, with great taste in music, found it! 🙂Love to read this! Heard of the band, never heard of the song. My best pal growing up was Italian and he was mad on Bon Jovi, so i’m surprised i don’t know it. I think they are from New Jersey. I like the Young Guns 2 record. Their famous big hit is so well produced, ‘Living on a prayer’.
Bon Jovi couldn't get a contract for years. Then a Radio station released a mix album of local New Jersey bands. This was on there, became huge. Bon Jovi were signed and this was their first Single.

One of the main themes in Rock and Roll at that time, adolescents living a thug life in the streets. Orphans, runaways, scoundrels. Poor and rebel kids looking for a place to fit. This song in particular is a mix with other common theme, the rich girl, the daddy's girl, in the streets available for poor, though boys. It's a like when they say girls like bad boys, in this case rich daddy's girls. It was a macho thing at that time to get an "uptown girl". In this song she's not with a boy, it suggest she became a prostitute but, let's say, she was "down" to the bad poor boys level and somewhat she became available.
strange I just find remix for this song and now I find you make reaction for original 😀 I'm still under the impression of the remix, which although it's in a rock style, is totally different, and I personally liked it your reaction is great ... like always !!!
"Blaze of Glory" is a must if you want something similar to "Bed of Roses". Although my absolute favourite from Bon Jovi is "Dry County", a more ambitious, longer, dramatic piece which was often starting with a beautiful piano introduction during live performances. If you want something with a runaway theme, two songs come into my mind - "Jenny's got a gun" by Aerosmith and "Runaway" by Marillion. Both with disturbing lyrics and music videos.
1st Bon Jovi song I ever heard. I remember seeing Bon Jovi in '93. The audience was packed with women who were clearly still living the party life of the 80s. When they played this song those women went WILD. I'll just say it, to this day, the most boobs I've ever seen at one time in person. Lot of "Runaway" gathered together that day.
Love watching your reactions! Keep it up! That whole album was great! She don’t know me or Lie to me from the These Days album. The These Days album was a little darker than they usually put out. They must have been going through some stuff.
Pretty sure I already gave you a list lol. I hope you keep those on a spreadsheet or something so you can keep track. If you think what Jon Bon Jovi was wearing was something else, watch the movie Labyrinth and get an eyeful of what David Bowie had to wear lol.
Miss Bisscute I loved your reaction to this Bon Jovi song, I would like to give suggestions by him for future reactions: blaze of glory and wanted dead or alive related to the soundtrack of movies that I also suggest for your other channel RUclips: Young guns and Young guns II, very nice western films by the way.
@@BisscuteReacts I am very happy with your answer Miss Bisscute, thank you very much and I hope that the musical and movie suggestions that I gave you will soon become reactions. Have an excellent day.
Hi Cookie girl 😉 Jon Bon Jovi recorded "Runaway" with studio musicians because he didn't have a band yet. He often introduce this song in concert with a story about how he brought it to the Long Island radio station WAPP: "It's 1983, and some young punk kid walks in a radio station. He grabs this DJ by the collar, he says, "Hey Mister, I've go the right chords, and a cool melody. What do you say to do me a favor, and in three minutes and thirty seconds, what you're going to see is a rock and roll star." 😎
There was a lot of songs in the 80s that dealt with death. In the USA there was a very real threat of nuclear destruction. So while yes there is the bubblegum hair metal, you're going to run across a lot of songs with a deaper meaning.
There's another older rock Song by Del Shannon. Avenged Sevenfold covered it on The Stage Deluxe edition. Great song you like this one you'd like Avenged Sevenfold version of Del Shannon Runaway.
My favorite song on this album was "Roulette" (the last song). I say "was" because I never owned the album and haven't heard it since 1985, but this had just come out and my friend Ami used to play it all the time. I had (and still have) long, blonde hair (I'm a guy, lol!), and one day while Ami was "putting on her face", she thought my hair would look (Bis)cute if she teased it. I let Ami do (almost) anything she wanted. It was an adorable platonic relationship. My relationships with 3 other girls... not so platonic. Hey, it was 1984!
I'm way late but I made it. Yay 80s music! ❤ This song is cool. Looks like others have already recommended all the early Bon Jovi hits so I need not. Good stuff.
The 80s were weird in terms of dress, but were legendary for amazing songs. The 90s and 2000s were similar. And then we get to the early to mid 2010s and that is when music and movies went to absolute garbage. Every form of music just sounds like rap and the people are desperate for anything but rap. But the industry is controlled by merchants who have an agenda. So we have to look back at these songs and cherish them, b/c they are the best we will get.
Hello Miss Bisscute ( AKA ) Madalina 😎. Bon Jovi Does Have some Great Music yetI Think ( Wanted Dead or Alive ) is by Far his Best in My Humble Opinion 🥴. As Always the Like Button 🔘 has been Illuminated 😁👍👍🤗🎶🎵🎸🎷
I still don't know how he hit those high notes. IRON MAIDEN - WHERE EAGLES DARE !!! (It's snowing outside, the rumbling sound of engines roar in the niiiiiight )
Cool story. Went and Seen Bonjovi and Alice n chains. Ended up at cats meow with them after show with invite from them after Alice n chains told us to jump down and come back stage. Lots of smoke and drinks . The good ole days
I wanna run away. I can't tho. Have plenty of water but, I have no Bisscute to eat, so I wouldn't survive Also, it sounds like Bon Joe-vee Check out Kansas City by Dirt Miller
I don't think you have reacted to Fleetwood Mac but I would suggest it if you are not familiar with their music. To start I would suggest Dreams or the Chain or Gold Dust Woman.

One of my favorite Bon Jovi songs is "To the Fire". Just has a kind of mood to it. Like it could've been used in a Miami Vice episode or something.
Oh? thanks for the suggestion ❤️
strange I just find remix for this song and now I find you make reaction for original 😀
I'm still under the impression of the remix, which although it's in a rock style, is totally different, and I personally liked it
your reaction is great ... like always !!!
Thank you ❤️
which remix, can you give us the name of the artist or the link of the remix ... thx
Got it, thanks for the suggestions ❤️
do dry county live one of the most emotional guitar solos ive seen from them, plus in total emotional song as well
Oh interesting, got it ❤️
1st Bon Jovi song I ever heard. I remember seeing Bon Jovi in '93. The audience was packed with women who were clearly still living the party life of the 80s. When they played this song those women went WILD. I'll just say it, to this day, the most boobs I've ever seen at one time in person. Lot of "Runaway" gathered together that day.
Shot Through The Heart
My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Blaze Of Glory
Love watching your reactions! Keep it up! That whole album was great! She don’t know me or Lie to me from the These Days album. The These Days album was a little darker than they usually put out. They must have been going through some stuff.
Thank you so much, happy you love them ❤️
Living on a prayer
Or Always
Bad medicine...
Bed of roses
Keep t'he faith or its my life
Thanks for the suggestions ❤️
Thank you so much, glad you loved it. thanks for the suggestions ❤️
@@BisscuteReacts I am very happy with your answer Miss Bisscute, thank you very much and I hope that the musical and movie suggestions that I gave you will soon become reactions. Have an excellent day.
I have to give it to Richie Sambora, he was an underrated guitarist....👽👽👽
Love the new hair!!!
Thank you ❤️
"Blaze on Glory" great song and movie

@@BisscuteReacts mulțumim și așteaptăm reactia
Ты как река-всегда разная ! ❤
Super song, love your emotions in your reactions! Try „Wild in the streets“ from Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi was my first ever concert I went to…
Thank you, ill keep that in mind ❤️
Hi Cookie girl 😉
Jon Bon Jovi recorded "Runaway" with studio musicians because he didn't have a band yet. He often introduce this song in concert with a story about how he brought it to the Long Island radio station WAPP:
"It's 1983, and some young punk kid walks in a radio station. He grabs this DJ by the collar, he says, "Hey Mister, I've go the right chords, and a cool melody. What do you say to do me a favor, and in three minutes and thirty seconds, what you're going to see is a rock and roll star." 😎
Hi, thank you for the info ❤️
There was a lot of songs in the 80s that dealt with death. In the USA there was a very real threat of nuclear destruction. So while yes there is the bubblegum hair metal, you're going to run across a lot of songs with a deaper meaning.
There's another older rock Song by Del Shannon. Avenged Sevenfold covered it on The Stage Deluxe edition. Great song you like this one you'd like Avenged Sevenfold version of Del Shannon Runaway.
This was the first song I heard from Bon Jovi, maybe you would like my favorite Bon Jovi song "Thank You for Loving me" A very beautiful song.🎵🌹
Oh? ❤
Great reaction beautiful Bisscute 👍🤘
Thank you so much ❤️
Hey Bisscute did you react to John Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory"? If not, you should. Epic song to an epic western movie.
I have not yet, might check it out sometime ❤️
My favorite song on this album was "Roulette" (the last song). I say "was" because I never owned the album and haven't heard it since 1985, but this had just come out and my friend Ami used to play it all the time. I had (and still have) long, blonde hair (I'm a guy, lol!), and one day while Ami was "putting on her face", she thought my hair would look (Bis)cute if she teased it. I let Ami do (almost) anything she wanted. It was an adorable platonic relationship. My relationships with 3 other girls... not so platonic. Hey, it was 1984!
Haha, maybe someday ill check that song out ❤️
YAY!!! Biss is chair dancing again!!! ❤
Haha, glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Parabéns pelo vídeo
👏👏👏
Recomendo neste estilo que aqui no Brasil chamamos de Rock farofa kkk Kiss acústico I Still Love You 👍
I'm way late but I made it. Yay 80s music! ❤ This song is cool.
Looks like others have already recommended all the early Bon Jovi hits so I need not. Good stuff.
Thanks ❤️
Manifestation is key. Imma be the next greatest underground rapper out trust me.
If you haven't done "Always" yet, DO IT! Up there with "Bed Of Roses"
Ill note that down ❤️
@@BisscuteReacts Awesome😻
The 80s were weird in terms of dress, but were legendary for amazing songs. The 90s and 2000s were similar. And then we get to the early to mid 2010s and that is when music and movies went to absolute garbage. Every form of music just sounds like rap and the people are desperate for anything but rap. But the industry is controlled by merchants who have an agenda. So we have to look back at these songs and cherish them, b/c they are the best we will get.
What’s the upside down sign you’re making with your hands Biscuit? I don’t get it.
They opened for Ratt when Isaw them. Ratt sounded so bad we left to hit the bar's.
Very catchy song
Hello Miss Bisscute ( AKA ) Madalina 😎. Bon Jovi Does Have some Great Music yetI Think ( Wanted Dead or Alive ) is by Far his Best in My Humble Opinion 🥴. As Always the Like Button 🔘 has been Illuminated 😁👍👍🤗🎶🎵🎸🎷

I wanna run away. I can't tho. Have plenty of water but, I have no Bisscute to eat, so I wouldn't survive
Also, it sounds like Bon Joe-vee
Check out Kansas City by Dirt Miller
bad medicine is a great one too
I don't think you have reacted to Fleetwood Mac but I would suggest it if you are not familiar with their music. To start I would suggest Dreams or the Chain or Gold Dust Woman.
