- Here is a the differnces between the X-Line package and the M Sport package for the 2023+ BMW X1 28i.

X line looks more premium and looks amazing on Sapphire Black Metallic. I’ll take the M-Steering wheel and seats from the M package though.
Fun fact:
Here in Germany the X1 is offered with a variety of different engines, starting with only 136hp and front-wheel drive! 🤭😊
sDrive 18i: 1.5 liter 3-cylinder with 136hp (still runs 208km/h (about 129mph!) on the Autobahn, 0-62mph in 9.2 sec)
sDrive 20i: 1.5 liter 3-cylinder, but as a mild-hybrid with 156hp (petrol) and additional 14hp electric engine (170hp combined)
xDrive 23i: the slightly lower powered 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine you get in the US, but as a mild-hybrid with 218hp combined
xDrive 25e: a plugin hybrid with the 1.5 liter 3-cylinder and an electric motor, 245hp combined
xDrive 30e: plugin hybrid with the 1.5 liter 3-cylinder and an electric motor, but with 326hp(!) combied
And we also get Diesel engines:
sDrive 18d: 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Diesel with 150hp, FWD
xDrive 20d: the same 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Diesel with 150hp but as a mild-hybrid with 163hp combined
xDrive 23d: 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Diesel mild-hybrid with 211hp combined

It comes like that in Greece too where I bought mine, I’m pretty sure all engine types are available in all European countries.

I just bought my new bmw x1 xline total black and it looks both premium and gangsta 😎😁😁😁
I avoided the M Sport model and bought the X Line purely because of the ride quality.
And I bought the 2.0d which is brilliant on economy. Returns up to 59mpg.
Bigger wheels and low profile tyres are a no no for me.
Had it on my 3 series tourer and hitting a pot hole was no fun
Yes X-Line does provide more comfort
We bought an X-Line 23i (in UK so Euro spec) for the same reason, and also for the lighter colour headlining. My family loves it!
@@DenverBMW cant you get the same ride quality on the xsport with 18inch wheels non-RFT (thats an option) + removing the adaptive suspension?
Is this really correct? Do you mean M Sport with Adaptive M Suspension offers less comfort than X -Line?
Currently in the market for a second vehicle. Looking at X1 vs Merc GLA vs Audi Q3. Definitely prefer the M-Sport to the X-Line. Frozen Grey looks good but not $4900 good.

I really like the Xline, this 2023 model looks really sleek. Upgrade to the premium package and you have a more comfortable and feature packed car.
Starting from July 2023 for the M Sport there is no more door sills, no more glovebox light and many others small stuff. Since November 2023 they enter in a new phase when they replace the Idrive 8 (Linux based) with an Idrive 9 (Android based) which is very laggy and has a lot of issues (Voice control is very poor, Apple Car play is unusable since it loosing connection each 4-5 minutes, and maps are incredibly laggy).

Can you do a comparison with the shadow-line?
We prefer the xline over the M-Sport. Plus our salesperson told us that unless we do a lot of off-road riding, we really don't need this the M-Sport
In canada we only have the shadow line headlights, not a package. M sport doesnt have anything to do with off roading

For long trips, is xline more comfy than M sport?
Heard the M sport has stiffer suspension and firmer seats. Can't imagine going thru the 95N in PA.

i have the 23 msport... there is *no difference size wise* between the XLine vs. the MSport
x line all day no point of m pack and sport seats … for the car thts basickly only gor a city comute shops school run ect

The seat of M-sport package is not comfortable for someone with wide shoulders.
Why BMW doesn’t offer m sport brakes with the m sport package?

Sports seats will have more bolstering so I would not recommend them for larger people.

Does the base line come with ambient lighting?
ambient lighting is a standard feature for every X1

@@DenverBMW Not true. US models have ambient light as standard. Depends on the country. The Base model in Europe has a greyish (quarz silver) trim on the inside which has no LED ambient lighting. When you order a x-line or m-sport ambient light is standard.

Can you do a demo of a premium enhanced package?
First 10s - do I have Insufficient Aesthetic Appreciation? Can't see any difference worth comment.
Rest of video - is it any wonder that BMW drivers have the rep they do, when salesmen are always banging on about trim giving A More Aggressive Look.
Do Xline have adaptive suspension and M Sport have M suspension?
x-line will have the standard suspension. M sport has the M adaptive suspension

@@aayoutubepage7155 on bmw.ca configurator, under packages there is a "add more extras" button. It is under there. You will need to go to a dealership to actually place the order tho.

i cannot find anything saying the M sport lowers the car like on some other models.

i did a little more digging and i found a note for it. Adaptive M suspension lowers it 15mm.
