I don’t think I would have enjoyed Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, and Seventh son of a seventh son nearly as much without Nicko. Especially SiT and Ssoass have some really nice drums.
Where's the enormous intro fill??? One of my fave drumming albums of Maiden's. The energy and the drum sound is amazing! It takes a huge amount of skill and confidence to be ripping fills like these in the studio.
I don't know if it's because of this.. but there's a weird thing that happened when their music came in Digital format.I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but the intro to powerslave (heartbeat, laugh then fill) somehow ended up being part of the end of "Back in the village" track. So playing out of order Powerslave just jumps straight in with the riff and Back in the village has this weird disconnected end to it. They may have corrected that later, but I still have iTunes versions of the album with this annoying mistake.
Single foot, single beater fellas! This is how it is done. Takes the might Steve Harris three fingers on the bass to maintain this mad man's groove. Maiden all the way!
This great track reminds me that Nicko had a wonderful lively drum sound then with amazing ambience. Sonor still makes the best drums in the worlds and Paiste the best cymbals.
Drums only playlist - ruclips.net/p/PLTOh4tBW15HLPdzQioQAZamVYSLAbE30g
Nicko has the best single pedal technique in history
The chorus of the track is some of the best druming ever
You can sing along to it to. Thats my favorite kind of druming
The right foot of Nicko is from another world
*in agreement* Right!? (Pun intended)
Nicko es como un Pulpo, tiene como 4 pies, toca ese bombo como le plazca
What’s so hard?
sim e toca muito mais do que muitos bateristas que usam bumbo duplo kkk
Nico’s groove - he plays the riff through the drums. Lots of little variations and tasty bits.
Such an amazing sense of swing. Good old Nicko!
Those Paiste's sound amazing!!!
Nicko has to be one of the best! Surprised how straight he played on the album track.
Those friggin toms!!!
You can tell nothing is quantized like today. It's all as Nicko played it.
4:53 you can hear nicko screaming
One of the best!

An awesome Iron Maiden song that has a drum solo! (04:45)
What a pleasure 🤘🤘🤘❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Thank you for the upload
There is a market for re-releases of the Iron Maiden catalog with just the drum tracks.

@@maddiefrench21 Ahh ha, that would explain it then. Thanks for that,(back in the village - what a riff) 😎👍
@@maddiefrench21I have that version of Powerslave ripped to my phone and it drives me CRAZY when I’ve got my Iron Maiden playlist on shuffle! 😖
Wowww......This kick!!!!!!Thx for video...i'm crying now....
You hear nicko singing and screaming in the background 😂🤪
At what point?
it's Bruce
@@maximwinner5326 you're right...stupid me😂🤪🤦♂️
It’s Nicko. During the long drum roll before the last verse.
Steve Harris's Right hand and Nico's Right foot name a better Duo!
Yeah well, who needs the greatest intro fill of all time!
Awesome ❤❤
Thank you! It was a huge help
Run to the hills drumming at 3:40? Great !!
not really
And The Trooper at 4:55

Steve only uses 2 fingers, not three.

Always love the content! You should do some TOOL songs.
It will be on my second channel.
Tool would be a very good one to do this for. Thanks for your work, sir!
Thanks for posting. Sounds great .
Dance of Dead Iron Maiden please
I don't have such a track yet.
Can you do more Alex Van Halen?
No. I have no other tracks.
@@kiboko_drummer okay thank you
Tight.
could you please do .. Iron maiden: Sun and steel isolated drums ??
No. I don't have the tracks for this song.
The big tom fill in the intro is missing!
Yes. And this is written in the description of the video.
If you listen to isolated drum parts of Nicko and Clive you will understand why Nicko is better
Good \m/
Fuck yeah!!! Excellent!!
