Hey Olga! Thanks so much for sharing this! Wonderful local history lesson! I enjoyed all the details behind the race and seeing how many running clubs participated etc! Beautiful scenery as you ascended and came back down the hill! Seems like everyone had a great time! Thanks for sharing! Keep pushing!
Super filming Olga , it is really a good footage with the usual significant commentary . The pics from Josie Greenhalg are nice , also David Barnes photo are quality and the Wesham Road Runners , it is now known as Wesham Fell Runners . Well done to all .
Great running Olga! I can’t believe how much running everyone was doing when going up the hills, I’d have been walking. Northern legs must be very strong 😀
@@OlgasBritishFells Thank you @my daughter loved her time in russia, thoo after doing ballet for years and be accepted into white lodge, she changed her mind and decided wanted to be a teacher instead? sorry waffleing olga xx
@@debsmostexcellentadventure5353 I love ballet too, it's a shame about my country's reputation at the moment all because of the stupid government wanting to start a this brutal war.
Another fell-racing video - nice ! Lots of faster trail-running sections and those evening views were great. I've done bike-races which used Horwich sports centre for the HQ but nothing as a runner. And, of course, the race had to have Walsh as a headline sponsor ! Enjoyed it.
Oh that's great you bikes there. Was it cross bike? I know I didn't put "Walsh" on the video and the thumbnail, I forgot. I am going to change it in the title of the video.
@@OlgasBritishFells You included 'Walsh' in the description title, that's the only reason I knew. Legendary shoes. My dad used Walsh in the 60s and 70s and I had them in the 90s - they look very similar today. The bike race was a hilly time-trial which climbed from the sports centre, crossed the moor to Belmont, then followed the A road to Abbey village near Blackburn.... and every time I rode, it rained :))
Just discovered this vid - I was the pink panther who’d done paddy’s pole two days before. Such a fab video - I’ve shared it with our running group - im sure this will encourage them to try out this race!
@@OlgasBritishFells I have been on my feet most of the day!!! so tomorrow my legs will be very stiff..... :-( but there is no way I am going to run ANYWHERE to make me feel better..... :-)))) xxx
More records broken, congratulations. Have a word with Brewdog, Hazy Jane ale is named after a guy with a channel called 'Haze Outdoors'. I think 'Olga's Fells' would fit nicely on their cans, worth an ask mate ))
Wow - that race looks amazing. Spectacular scenery.
Cool that you can see University of Bolton FC stadium. 👍
Thank you Neil
Awesome!
