Chinese food is so diverse, even the street/cheap eats look amazing...or maybe street food is really where it's at! This looks more tasty than expensive, so-called gourmet food Stateside. Can't wait for you to go back to China and find more amazing eats!
Omg, I’m going back to Shanghai this Wednesday! I hope you discover some really wonderful foods there! Btw I recommend this dessert u can find all over in Shanghai. It has boba, taro, sweet potato and ube balls with grass jelly and sometimes red bean and lots of other optional toppings. It’s so good!
@@harshiniprabaharan7232 I think it’s called 糖水 (táng shuǐ) in Chinese, but there isn’t exactly a name for it in english. Actually you can find this almost everywhere in mainland China and it’s a really refreshing dessert especially during the hot weather :)

The spicy jelly noodles you ate are jiao tuan, from northwest China. Growing up I was always taught to swallow the pieces whole. Sibling got teased for not being able to do so without chewing lol
