I agree, these stories wouldn't be as great if he just read them and kept his thoughts to himself. He adds something I call " front porch knowledge". Its the kind of stuff you will hear men of a certain age talking about sitting in rockers on the front porch of an old cabin escaping the heat of the day being in the shade of surrounding trees.

Oh my goodness Cam!!! The second story took my breath away. So beautiful. On another note, the jerks who have nothing better to do with their time than to attack other people are usually very dissatisfied with their life. They're also absurdly moronic. How can you or ANYONE ELSE know for a fact these stories are true? There is no way you can do that. We love you Cam. Where do most stay, How long is it, Expert tips on attendance and any other information you think is important? I'm asking because I'm going to try to make it this year. I'm from Upstate NY. I just don't know anything about the area and what to expect. Where to stay and anything else. I've never stayed in the area?

I really enjoy listening to the stories you tell. I don't care if they are true or not, they are fun to listen to. I'm in my 70's and listening to you reminds me of being a little big-eyed kid sitting in the South Georgia sand watching the fire burning in the pit and listening to my grandaddy and uncles tell outlandish stories. My most favorite story was when my grandaddy said he raised a watermelon so big that he had to take it to town on a flatbed wagon pulled by two mules. Well, the watermelon fell off the wagon and when it burst open it drowned the two mules and grandaddy rode out on a watermelon seed to keep from drowning. Lord only knows where he heard that story, but it stuck with me all these years. God Bless you and your family.

OH my gosh.....loved the story of the bigfoot carrying the man home....that was so sweet and shocking at the same time......I know that "I" would have a problem if I found a young one in trouble..... but I would also be terrified to meet the big guy in the wild

Hi, Cam, I'm a great fan of your stories, be they fact or fiction. There are some people who always have to make obnoxious comments and aggravate others. No one is forcing them to watch!! I really loved the second story about the Yowie saving
the writer's ancestor. Why shouldn't it be possible? Even the native people knew about them, a long time ago. We've been
invading the forests and places that used to be considered "wild". Maybe the Sasquatch used to just warn us or check us
out, and now we're getting too invasive, so some are getting hostile. One question to the first writer: why did he shoot the
wild dogs? The wild pigs were imported by humans and have become a problem, so perhaps the wild dogs keep them in
check up to a point. I'm just not a fan of hunting in general, unless it is for food. But I'm not writing to complain, quite the
contrary, to tell you how much so many of us enjoy your stories and THANK YOU for all the trouble you put into producing
them for our entertainment. I doubt any Aussies are bothered by your "Australian" attempts. You are trying, that's what
counts. You sound like a kindhearted gentleman, so none of us will think you are making fun of them. Best wishes to all!
I'm not an Ozzie, but I can answer your question. These dogs are not like domestic dogs. They're wild and mean. They form packs, and will attack cattle, kangaroos, wild horses and people if given half a chance. Sometimes they roam around small villages in the outback at nights and attack whatever they find... Trust me, this man is doing Australians a favour!

hello cam...I am a big fan of your podcast. listened to you "vent" about a negative listener and their dream killer comment. I could hear in your voice a lot of anger and some stress.
