Yep. Had that happen to me in August of 67. I was camping with a military officer's family north of Kingston, ON. My buddy and I were sleeping in a 2 man pump tent. Something woke me up scratching the tent above my head. With a full August moon and a clear sky I could see clearly the shadow of a large wolf, not a raccoon like I initially thought. It was bright enough outside that I could see it was a big Lobo. He took off after I slapped the tent and spoke. I found a muddy footprint outside the landowners cottage deck the next day, it was the size of the palm of my hand. Being a curious and nosey farm boy with no real fear of animals, I carefully scouted him out and found the den. The pair had 4 pups, cute as all get out, but Momma didn't like me too close, so I was smart enough to give her room.

My son had two friends in Washington. They were on the side of the road getting stoned. A sasquatch ran out of the woods and smashed the hood of the car! They never told anyone but us.
I think it's interesting that in the last story the guy's friend tells him that "they don't have to take physical form" I've heard so many recounts where people hear something or feel something that they sense is something big approach them or run by them, but they don't see anything.

Oh our canine companions. When Cam read about her crying of course I cried for my long passed Golden. I had always had mutts, and have a rescued one now. That Golden was given to me and although I love ALL my dogs that boy was something quite special.
Hey Cam I have seen a UFO that was in the shape of a triangle. It was spinning like a top but slowly. I was a youg boy. In my old neighborhood. It was a beautiful night. I ran inside my parents house grabbed my binoculars. And ran back outside to follow the strage craft. There was no sound. After a few minutes that seemed longer it shot straight up at a very high speed and was gone. I stood there in total shock over what I just witnessed. Never felt like I was in any danger. @@karenjensen6642 Yes. After my wife's passing, my dog has been my anchor and saviour for the last 3 years. Without him I would be in deep emotional trouble, It's especially difficult my oldest son also failing slowly too. .

Thing about sleeping in a tent in a dead quiet forest is every little sound is magnified hugely. I could’ve swore a bear was sniffing at my head only to find out it was a raccoon in the morning

In the fall of 1993 a friend and I were walking at night south along a sidewalk near to Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The leaves were still on the trees and the stars were out. Ahead of us low in the sky came toward us, a light inside of a black craft. It was silent, nose was pointed down, almost touching the tree tops and I could see into the backlit cockpit two beings with grey skin and wrap around big eyes. The craft was soon hovering right overhead and it was an elongated black triangle blocking the stars. My friend could see nothing. I kept pointing at it and loudly said with some frustration in my voice, "look!" and pointed straight upward. This craft was so low I could have hit it with a rock. When I yelled the seven red recessed lights that were in the bottom leading edges turned off. I estimate this craft to be about 80x80x60 feet in lengths and width. I do not know how tall it was, but it looked like 10 to 12 feet in height is my best guess. The approach was too rapid to gauge the height, but in its silent hover I got a really good look at length and width. As an electrician I could estimate how many 10ft lengths of conduit that would be needed for a job, so I estimated those craft L x W dimensions using work experience. After they shut off those recessed red lights several seconds had elapsed and then they shot out of our area and disappeared in about two seconds, turning into a black dot in the well lit skyline of Milwaukee directly to the north along the lakefront. The back interior of the craft glowed an orange red color like that of an electric range top when cooking food. I heard in my head either the word aura or Aurora as they departed. They travelled about 11 miles in two seconds. Somebody else can do that math for the miles per hour, but really it seemed to be silently pulled from our area suggesting a portal. In the US Army infantry I had worked around runways, helicopters, troop transport planes and fighter jets. The jets have an afterburner that produces a flame that goes beyond the back end of the jet, this triangle craft's propulsion system did not do this, its aft interior glowed steadily with no flickering, no noise and no flames. My friend saw none of it and kept asking me what? what? I don't see it. What is it? Neither one of us had sensed missing any time and we just kept walking to our destination. Those two grey skinned pilots did not have the black eye coverings on. I could actually see the pupils and the whites of their eyes. That's how close they got before hovering over us.

Wow Cam, you already have 90 comments after just 2 hrs. That’s usually what you’ll see with a million subscribers. It just goes to show the great group of people that a great man will draw in. Out of all the subscriptions I have, this has the best audience. Barley ever a negative comment. Just a great group of obviously above average intelligent open minded people. Personally I like true stories better than fiction which is probably why I fell in love with this channel so fast, along with my all time favourite Narrator Cam Buckner whose big heart and great personality shines through greatly. I decided to give Steve Lily a listen and I think you just made a fan of fiction out of me also. Although much of your story ideas likely were inspired by the large collection of true stories you have acquired from your people!

Cam you made me remember something that happened in Tucumcari New Mexico. I believe I forgot to tell you that I'm Cherokee Native. This isn't a Bigfoot story but more Spiritual. I had just started driving for a new Truck driving Company. Single cab freightliner truck. It was late night that's my favorite time of day to drive a semi truck. Less traffic you can make better time. It started raining a hard rain like I had never seen before. I was traveling west. I love driving out west it's so beautiful. Right after the hard rain started the wind started blowing very strong.plus very bright lightning that you could see tor for miles. Then I realized my truck had just shut down no power. In the middle of no where. I thought to myself oh Shit! Now what do I do? No other vehicle's in sight. Cam I'm no mechanic what so ever. But I hot out in the hard rain. And went to where the truck frame met the front of the trailer. Shined my flashlight around then seen a power cord. It was split about half way connected but split there was a fuse there. I pulled apart the cord and all kind of water came out. So I took the fuse dried it and the place it went to the cord.put it all back together said a little prayer. Turned on the switch pressed the starter button. To my great relief truck fired right up. Of course I said my thank you to the Creator. I was on my way once more. Started getting very tired from fighting all the bad weather. So I pulled into one of our fuel stop for the company. Shut down for my break laid down in my bunk. Just closed my eyes at the wind blew my truck around like it was nothing was rocking so bad kinda got a little sea sick. I thought the Hell with this. I turn the truck and trailer into the wind. That worked. Went to sleep. I woke up more scared than I had ever been in my life. I looked in front of cab yo make sure I was alone. I was alone. Then I realized all my clothes I was wearing and my bed linens were soaking wet. I grabbed my light looking everywhere in my bunk for a leak. I found none. Then it hit me. I remembered what I thought was a dream. Found out later it was much more than a dream. It was a vision. In my vision I beheld the most beautiful Native woman I had ever seen in my life. She was wrapped I. White fur so she was somebody very important. Then she spoke to me. For years I couldn't remember what she said. Then one day I thought about that night and finally remembered what she said to me. Come see.... after she disappeared I beheld an old Native Chief full head dress no expression like his face was made out of stone. Next morning I fueled the truck grabbed a cup of Joe drank it and told the pretty young lady behind the counter want had happened. She turned white in her face. I asked what's wrong? She pointed at a post card rack and said there is a card that you need to read. This freaked me out a bit I must say. So I found the card read it. Cam it blew my mind! It was the Legend of How Tucumcari got its name. Please forgive how long this is my friend. But it's all true. The card said that that Chief of the tribe that lived there was getting ready to step down and had to pick his replacement. Only one problem there was 2 young warriors. The chief couldn't make up his mind. So he told the young warriors to take there long knifes out and who ever returned alive would be the new Chief and would receive his daughter for a wife. Her name was Cara. Cara was in love with Tucum. She followed them and unfortunately Tucum was killed. She took his knife and killed the other warrior then she turned the blade on herself in grief. The next day the Chief found them all. He was so grieved over the death of his daughter. That he took his life also. Even if you dont ever read this on your channel. I thought you might enjoy this story. And Tucumcari New Mexico is Lakota territory. Thanks for all the great stories my friend I love them all.

About 2 years ago during the summer while walking my dog, I saw 3 orange orbs and they were very close, no ballon. It was around 6:50 at night and it was still light out. I didn’t hear anything in the news but when I looked on RUclips there were a lot of reported sightings all over NYC where I live. I didn’t have my cell phone so I didn’t take a picture. I also didn’t report it as I didn’t want to be labeled a nut.

I saw a UFO a few years ago while playing frisbee on a clear, bright and hot sunny day. While getting ready to catch one and was blinded by the sun, I clearly saw an orb, brighter than the sun way up in the atmosphere. I stopped to look an the orb and watched it dance around in a tight circle. When I called to my son to take a look at what I saw, it had disappeared. Then I scanned the sky and spotted it miles away to the South. It had moved an impossible distance very quickly, so certainly not an aircraft. When I saw it again, it was dancing again in a tight circle, then disappeared right in front of my eyes! My son never got to see it. I decided to report it to MUFON (Mutual UFO Network). About a couple of months later, a MUFON investigator called to interview me on the case. He told me that a Nebraska State Trooper had reported seeing the same event, at the same time and date. He was located just a mile to the South of me where I had seen it in its second position. That made me feel better that I just wasn't seeing things that day!
Oh wow, someone even called to ask you about your sighting? What a relief to hear someone else saw it as well! I saw something weird flying in cape cod this last winter, and felt stupid for thinking I saw what I did, even if it was just a really advanced drone, and was hugely relieved when Google turned up a report from a ufo organization from 2015 in the same area reporting what sounded like the same thing. Quite a relief to feel not alone in having seen it and to know that the thing was real. Your story was really interesting, thank you for sharing it.

Flat enchiladas in New Mexico are fantastic. Not rolled but layered like lasagna. Green chili sauce not red or both red and green if you want.Carlsbad Caverns is a state attraction. It is a huge cave. Only discovered and I mean dis covered. The bat waste had covered the entrance for ever. Thank you for your rendition of the stories and please market your hens eggs Dixie Cryptid. Years back I picked up a load of cedar porch railings in Medford Ore.
While the loader was loading my trailer I stood and eyeballed to the South of town and the view was totally unbelieveable (North end of Mt Shasta) said to myself when leaving the Plant that this is Woodbooger country.
People there were very nice folks and friendly too.
The stories that you read don't have to be about one thing or another , they don't have to have blood , gord or anything like that ,, although that is always interesting to hear about ,,,, I like the adventure , the close calls , the spooky unknown sounds that make your heart skip a beat and that make you hold your breath !!!
To me , It's about the stories and the feelings that they produce and the thrill of being there and in the moment with the writers and with the nartarator as he reads and adds excitement to the story through inflections in his voice !!
That's what makes a good story !!

Cam, the triangular craft are ours now. When they flew Buzz Aldrin to see the melted out giants w/ weapons found in Antarctica, it was on a triangle. They flew him around Mars on the way back. Due to his advanced age, and speed they went, Buzz felt a bit ill afterward, then recovered quickly. Viola!

I was just thinking about something, my little brother has been in two places when certain events has occurred once during Hurricane Hugo yes he was there in the heart of the hurricane 🌀 and in NC when the monster Curruth had his girlfriend killed and before that he had just left for work before a store was robbed, yes someone is watching over him, thank goodness for that
