  • Bigfoot Grave Found in Mississippi
A man I met two weeks ago told me this story. It is a strange story. His story didn't sound like one he made up after hearing or reading other Bigfoot encounters. There is no consistency with a typical encounter. Add to that, I love to write, and this is a spectacular story - true or not. So I wrote it for him. I hope it intrigues you. It sure fascinated me, even while I wrote it. Everything you hear regarding details, dates, and events, are exactly as he told them to me. His only request was that I not use any names. Not just change the names, but use no names at all. He was as adamant with not revealing locations. I can tell you this happened in the Holly Springs National Forest in north Mississippi on private land owned within the forest.

My oldest brother said he seen a large shadow by the moonlight in a place where he always huntered deer 🦌 to but this was late at night while he was out with the dogs raccoon hunting. My sister and I knew he was telling the truth because he is dead sober and at the end of the story he didn’t do his little snicker ever laugh he did that they drank or sour drunk or sober. I believe him there were Mysterious sounds mysterious animals around where I live I believe this man just I can’t believe my brother. It’s like the oceans and the seas we know so little of that water Saint still needs to be explored and we don’t know what’s down there. Is my story and as my sister always says that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I love my sister her father died when I was nine and she was seven my mom died when I was 16 and she was 14. Great story! Your narration is really good! You give me a sense of home. I’m Cherokee and grew up in the country, middle of nowhere type country, and my old home was ripe with activity such as this. Myself and my family have some pretty wild stories. Where we lived was so isolated that the woodland beings were quite off their guard once they got to know us a little. They must’ve felt pretty safe deep in the forest where we lived, even with humans around. The large wildmen never gave us any trouble though, everything seemingly lived harmoniously together. However, friendliness varies from beast to beast or population to population, I’m sure. Our population was very calm & kind, I’m sure this is because they have always lived alongside my people in that forest.

This a great story told well. As a teenager in Missouri, I as well as a few of my friends had a close encounter with one of these big mean ones. We were at a low water bridge just killing time looking at the river. There was a dairy farm nearby and some of their cows hung out by the river and we could see some of them down river a ways. It was near sunset and as we were watching the cows something in the water near them caught our attention. First we thought it was a large cow or bull but then it stood up on its hind legs and was very tall. It was facing us and began running up the river toward us.
It was moving fast and that scared us so we was getting out of there. The river level was fairly high and you could hear the water slushing with great force as the creature ran through it. This thing was huge and tall. We were panicked and trying to get traction in the loose gravel with our feet slipping and one guy had dropped a chain necklace on the bridge and went back to grab it. He said he heard it howl. I didn't hear it bur he swore it and was closer to it then us as we were already getting in the car. As soon as he got in, we tore out of there and I don't think any of us ever went back there again. It was a scary ordeal. It had dark fur and we couldn't make out too much as features, but it was running like a human on two legs. Some months later there was a report on the news of a similar creature sighted near a highway a few miles from where we were. Again, it was near a river.

Used to love exploring the woods, so many caves (I hate the chiggers there lol) and fun places to explore. We used to go to the Roubidoux (I think that's how it wad spelled) and I cab still visualize the area to fit with your story as I read your account. @@donc9751 It's great you lived in Missouri, so you know the lay of the land. And yep, we have chiggers LOL. And lots of caves, I've seen a few. I'm about to turn 70 and have lived here all of my life so have seen some strange things and heard tails. One day me and a friend of mine was hunting and saw a black panther which are not supposed to be in Missouri. There was no doubt though as it was way too big to be a house cat. Bigger than a German Sheppard. No one believed us but we knew what we saw. There's not much more to the bigfoot creature story. It was huge and terrifying we didn't talk about it after that. There seems to be at least two different kinds, one your regular bigfoot and then these things that are very aggressive and mean. I'd heard of one up North I think Alaska somewhere that was spotted on the ground from a helicopter running as it was returning to pick up campers that was staying at a cabin.
When they got there, they'd all been killed by that thing. Thanks for your kind words about my story, perhaps I'll write a book some day and include that story in it.

Well I looked that up and eerily it's not the same tracks I have seen. One night when I was home in my garage when my dog was alive, something attacked my garage door. It was the craziest thing. Boom itd hit with such force I was stunned, my dog was acting strange and cowering never seen her act that way either. Boom itd hit again with such force it was backing the garage door off the hinges but a couple inches. I should of been terrified but it was to late for panic. I got down on my knees and banished it in the name of Jesus be gone and just poof it was gone. Now, I went through my home peeking through the windows and didn't see nothing. Couldn't sleep either. Got up the next morning, early and went outside to see the damage done and for the life of me there wasn't a dent of any kind on my garage door but there were tracks so, not sure if it was a demonic force or maybe one of them Bigfoot. It still creeps me out, I thank God and Jesus for their help with this. God bless you and take care. 🧡🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼💛🙏🏼❤

This was by far my favorite to date. What a fantastic account of a phenomenal encounter. The story also confirmed for me that if necessary them things can absolutely be taken down. I am very much aware that there is good ones and bad ones. This particular account was of a very bad dangerous one. At any rate it was a real treat to listen too. Thank you Cam for your time and effort in doing such a great job telling it. I am sure he is quite pleased with how you delivered it.

Cammy, I've not been able to tune in much in the last year, but so glad I clicked on this one. It's a another Mississipi classic. Your narration is more perfect than ever, as is the music you choose to frame the story. Early morning here in Scotland, but still pitch black as the summer gloaming is no more. All the best from the old world.

I've listened to alot of your stories and I love them all but there have been a few that are so good and so incredible that they are on a different level. This one is that kind of story. Not only was it extremely well written but the story its self answers so many questions that I've had and im sure other people have as well. That im beyond impressed and it is in the top 5 best stories you have ever told on this show. And I also want to say that the way you are and the way you carry a story is so interesting and enjoyable that you are in my opinion maybe the best I've heard and I've listened to several different ones and alot of them have believable stories but that is it you and your voice and your over all attitude and own love of the stories you present is awesome and you have a way of making people feel like we all come from the same place like we are all just friends and family members. I could see a seen from one of my families get togethers when I was a kid. And it would be so easy to imagine that you are one of my cousins or an uncle telling a story to us about these things. Sorry to ramble but keep up the good stuff you do man thanks 👍.!

    Hey Brother C,
I almost died earlier this year when my aeorta burst. I'm told not very many survive that. I was already listening to you, and along with hanging around a bit longer, I can hear more of your stories! I was thinking to myself the other day about how many of them really stay and make a memory in my mind. I think however great they ALL are, a handful stand out in my mind. I do believe this one must be added to this smaller list. It surely may not solve the mystery once and for all. If anything, it adds to it. Something is going on out there. I'm just grateful to be this small part of it all, as a listener/watcher. You took a more somber tone reading it, and I noticed that. Thank you for these stories. God bless you and yours!

Glad you made it. Thank God !. I know a man who didn't feel well so he went to a chiropractor he heard was very good. When he realized the chiropractor was way up in years and was blind, he almost backed out. During the exam, the chiropractor said "I hear a bruit (brewy). I feel a disturbance. Get help immediately, you are in danger !".
This revelation disturbed the man and he shook his head. A battery of recent tests said he was OK. He told his wife what the blind chiropractor had said and she nagged him to follow up. In short, his aorta was about to burst and they were able to catch it in time !. God Bless.

Less lyrical, more weighty. The voice used when there has been a tragedy.
However, I recall when producers asked Harrison Ford to use such a voice to narrate a movie he starred in. He thought better of it, but did it throughout the movie. The critics ATE HIM UP AND SPAT HIM OUT. They called it "deadpan". I think if they had dropped the narration at some point then ended with it, it would have worked better...but then, isn't everyone a critic ?.

Great story that reminded me of an event that I have no doubt really happened.
I lived 13 years in Mississippi. This occurred around 1969 on a dirt road outside of Ridgeland, Mississippi.
I was about 22 years old and my X-wife's sister was somewherre around 17. My X-wife's sister, her boyfriend and another couple went down this small dirt road in a Ford Pinto and parked in a wooded area to drink some alcahol, smoke cigarettes and do a little smooching.
While they were parked, the driver noticed something moving in the moonlight through his rear view mirror. He said it was BIG! The two couples were instantly frightened and told the driver to drive off. Before he could start the engine, this large animal actually picked up the rear of the Pinto off the ground. The driver started the car, put it into gear, but the tires just spun in the air.
The car was jolted up and down and the girls were screeming! The beast finally let the car down and the tires spun in the muddy dirt. The car finally got some traction and they took off.
The next day they saw huge scratches on the trunk and rear side wheel fender of the car.
