What I've heard from some Teachers is that they avoided West Virginia, there were bad spirits dwelling in that region---Kentucky was considered Sacred hunting grounds---because their used to be an Eastern Woodlands Bison, now extinct, which inhabited Kentucky.
They are very active here in Louisville Kentucky the biggest city in the state all the way to Fort Knox army base which is an hour drive I had an encounter myself 3 feet away from my face and there have been many encounters within a mile or two of mine and at least 15 within a 6 mile range and they are only the ones that have been reported go to the Bigfoot Kentucky research organization look at Jefferson County and Bullitt County the woods from Louisville connect all the way to Fort Knox
I’m Native & from Kentucky, grew up way, deep in the forest. Can confirm it’s unbelievably spiritually active & always has been, according to my people. No one knows for sure why we ended up settling there, most just assume it’s because we didn’t have many options due to colonization pushing us from our original areas of settlement. I can’t even begin to explain & describe the things I’ve seen in the isolated nooks of our lands. Sasquatch, however, was the most common of sightings, for sure. We had a pretty good relationship with them. Left them food & gifts, etc.
@@bellanyvus112 im half Cherokee my father was a 100% but he died when i was nine my grandfather who was Cherokee was from Missouri and when he died my grandma kicked my father out at 14 so i have never met any of my Native American family i tried to meet my grandma after 17 years im 28 and found out she had just died of covid i know i have plenty of family in Missouri plan on looking them up want to know my Native American family and all there traditional ways

I had the privilege of meeting a couple of you when I was camping as a kid with my family. I would just like these visitors to keep talking as I was so taken first by their kindness and then by how you all spoke!!! Even better when they said my name!! Lol!! Love all of you Aussie's!! Such nice people!! I returned the favor when one of you were asking for directions.. I didn't want this person getting lost as they were in their way to meet someone for dinner.. So I personally had them follow me to where they were going.. Just in case... It was about a 45 min drive. This man was ever so grateful too.. He wanted me to stay for dinner.. Lol.. I politely declined and asked that he pay it forward...
I finally got away for my yearly vacation. Nothing like sitting on the patio and staring at the calm water with the loons and owls in the background, and listening to Dixie Cryptid. We love relaxing with a some Dixie cryptid stories. Cam is an awesome narrator and the stories are always great. While we're listening we can really get into it like we were there. We get excited everytime we see a new episode to enjoy when we're laying down at the end of the day

I was cleaning an Airbnb we have n there was a beatle bug upside down wiggling its legs- I had the broom in my hand n knocked it right side up, n it started hauling ass- so I stopped it w the broom so I could put it outside and tried to pick it up- but it was just too gross...so I tried to knock it over w the broom again- and it disappeared- I told my hubby- it was just like your big foot stories- when they get scared - they disappear. I once heard a woman who was remote viewing a big foot and she said they are time travelers- they jump when they are afraid. So techincally- they are still there- just in a different space n time. Hubby says maybe bugs can do it, too. I believe it- I saw it w my own eyes.

I've been in areas there that you just get the feeling that you're not alone at all. My hometown is Allen County Scottsville . I was raised in Halifax and Halfway both. I lived in south central Kentucky (Bowling Green) for 25 years. Allen County is adjacent to Bowling Green. It is a very rural, mountainous area. There have been several reports of Bigfoot in Allen County. Simpson County (Woodburn) Kentucky is also adjacent to Bowling Green. There has been a Bigfoot sighting by two paranormal investigators at a local historic site. Apparently, the Bigfoot threw rocks at them. At 3:00 a.m., they had no clue what it could be until they viewed their video. Simpson Count is also very rural. I have never heard the Native Americans avoided Kentucky because it was haunted. Five different Native Tribes inhabited Kentucky. I truly enjoyed the stories Cam. Keep up the great work.

He said That it was HUGE, & had 6 toes on each foot. P.S. Tell Paul to be careful, That might have been a female Big foot with the Submarine eyelashes ?
When I was young a teenager I was fishing behind my house. I went walking in the woods and I seen a bed it was 6 feet wide and 12 feet long it was made from hay, sticks and Pine boughs and pine cones it was 3 to 4 feet thick. Apparently it had been there for a while they're was long hair around it. But I didn't know what it was back then because I had never heard of Bigfoot so I left it alone. I lived in Casey County back then. I haven't talked to many people about this just a couple of people now you.

Several years ago a strong man team came to our church one night and I don't remember their names, but the things they did were just what he was saying. One of them had two of the others hold a 2 by 4 and he ran through it breaking it cleanly in two. I'm wondering if that was him and his friends.
Absolutely love these stories I spend more time in the woods than I do.at work sometimes 😄 I am from Ohio like in the middle of the state now all the time I have been in the woods I have yet to see anything but I have had times were I feel as though I was being watched one night i was hunting and the woods went dead silent I felt that was a little strange then I got that feeling again like my hair was standing on end and I smelled something foul I even called my dad and asked him if he smelled it as he was hunting on the other side of the woods from me and he said no .. Tha was the worst encounter if it was an encounter I have ever had but I'm not sure if it was an encounter or maybe something else idm but I have had the feeling of being watched more times than not . I hunt ginseng every fall in these woods I call mine the woods are huge. Little over half mile wide probably 6 mile long. I started hunting early in the morning till bout hour before dark. Most of the time I'd get this feeling something was watching me "big cat" or "big foot". After bout 4 years I started carrying a pistol never had to use it. In the 44 yrs I've hunted those woods. But there was times hair on back of neck stood on end. I was always a big muscular guy so wasn't to bothered by the thing watching me. I have seen cougars And black panthers at the edge of those woods.
I’m from Central Ky., had a few unexplained or unexplainable situations in and around here, heard a many encounter stories from Anderson Co.( Lawrenceburg), they used to have a great big male BF that used to be around there or be seen around over there quite often, it would stand on the side of the road and throw its arm in the air as if to wave, he did that so much that the folks over there gave him the name of “Mr. Howdy “. There’s been a many of encounters up around Trimble Co. too on the Ohio river, that’s Northern Ky or kinda NW actually and between Carrollton and Louisville. I really can’t say for sure that what I’ve have seen here in Central Ky was a Booger ( BF) or not but I’ve had more visual sightings up in SW Ohio, and all road crossings, out in the country of Ohio and as the crow flies not far from Kings Island.

My dad's side of the family is from Allen County. My great grandmother used to tell me stories of a place they called Monkey Holler. Told me a story nobody would go in there because they wouldn't come out.
I'm from simpson county, next to Allen and I heard about this place too but haven't been able to locate it yet. There is a vocalization captured on tape from that area. You can hear it on bfro Kentucky page. They were ghost hunting when they call the sounds, it will give you goosebumps. I Believe the road is called House Bluff road. Been asking about it for years but Noone seems to know where it is or maybe they just don't want me going because they know what's out there

What a great guy and wonderful stories he has to share with us! Mr Richie’s encounters (and others) he documented in his book are without a doubt real. What he recounts are what most people experience. Not to make fun of any of the experiences he shared; when he talked of the man putting his trash out and seeing a big black something in his headlights a commercial came on advertising a product for bladder control, I about wet my own pants laughing at what a coincidence it was in regards to his encounter 😆. Am from Louisville Kentucky have had an encounter it was three feet away from us and our flashlight went out and when we got it to turn back on this thing was standing next to us the only reason we were able to see it is because it's eyes were shining in the silhouette of its body it was three times or height it didn't chase us or anyting we ran away but there have been at least fifteen and counters within 10 miles of that's why and it least five or six within a two-mile range of that area and this is right outside of the city of Louisville Kentucky which has over a million people that live here the woods where all these encounters happen go all the way to Fort Knox which is about an hour drive from where where I had mine counter and there had been a few encounters at Fort Knox the woods are all connected if you go to Kentucky Bigfoot research organization Jefferson County and Bullitt County are connected buying counter was off of Blevins Gap there was a lady that lives on Blevins Gap who used to get followed to the bus stop Everyday by 1 and in Bullitt County which is only a few miles away from Blevins Gap there is a family who has them on the property it has also followed her to her bus stop a few times and they have seen Dogman up there too

Excellent job reading the book Cam. I have friend who lives out in the Colorsdo mountains. He was taking a ride on his 4 wheeler a few weeks back just waving his video camera which was a new go pro. He had it just moving back and forth. When he got home and put it on his video computer he saw it. It was running along side of the road about 50 ft out. He got just that for a few seconds. But when he slowed the video down for the few seconds and it ain’t no doubt. If I can get him to send me his clip I’ll send it to you. He’s delighted. Hes got some still shots of faces before but this was his first video of a running big foot. I was tickled for him. He was riding showing a frievd around so they were talking avd laughing on his 4 wheeler. They never saw it when it happened. He said they both would have probably wet their pants. No doubt.

Cam how are ya doin' ? Really enjoyed this one about The KY Big Foot. My Great Uncle Ira Tracked that kind of foot print in Casey County, Ky. In 1932. He said That it was HUGE, & had 6 toes on each foot. P.S. Tell Paul to be careful, That might have been a female Big foot with the Submarine eyelashes ?
When I was young a teenager I was fishing behind my house. I went walking in the woods and I seen a bed it was 6 feet wide and 12 feet long it was made from hay, sticks and Pine boughs and pine cones it was 3 to 4 feet thick. Apparently it had been there for a while they're was long hair around it. But I didn't know what it was back then because I had never heard of Bigfoot so I left it alone. I lived in Casey County back then. I haven't talked to many people about this just a couple of people now you.

Love your channel and the stories , CAM. I live in southeastern kentucky and would like to meet that RANDY RITCHIE. Several years ago a strong man team came to our church one night and I don't remember their names, but the things they did were just what he was saying. One of them had two of the others hold a 2 by 4 and he ran through it breaking it cleanly in two. I'm wondering if that was him and his friends.

Absolutely love these stories I spend more time in the woods than I do.at work sometimes 😄 I am from Ohio like in the middle of the state now all the time I have been in the woods I have yet to see anything but I have had times were I feel as though I was being watched one night i was hunting and the woods went dead silent I felt that was a little strange then I got that feeling again like my hair was standing on end and I smelled something foul I even called my dad and asked him if he smelled it as he was hunting on the other side of the woods from me and he said no .. Tha was the worst encounter if it was an encounter I have ever had but I'm not sure if it was an encounter or maybe something else idm but I have had the feeling of being watched more times than not . But thank u for being a voice God bless
I hunt ginseng every fall in these woods I call mine the woods are huge. Little over half mile wide probably 6 mile long. I started hunting early in the morning till bout hour before dark. Most of the time I'd get this feeling something was watching me "big cat" or "big foot". After bout 4 years I started carrying a pistol never had to use it. In the 44 yrs I've hunted those woods. But there was times hair on back of neck stood on end. I was always a big muscular guy so wasn't to bothered by the thing watching me. I have seen cougars And black panthers at the edge of those woods.

I’m from Central Ky., had a few unexplained or unexplainable situations in and around here, heard a many encounter stories from Anderson Co.( Lawrenceburg), they used to have a great big male BF that used to be around there or be seen around over there quite often, it would stand on the side of the road and throw its arm in the air as if to wave, he did that so much that the folks over there gave him the name of “Mr. Howdy “. There’s been a many of encounters up around Trimble Co. too on the Ohio river, that’s Northern Ky or kinda NW actually and between Carrollton and Louisville. I really can’t say for sure that what I’ve have seen here in Central Ky was a Booger ( BF) or not but I’ve had more visual sightings up in SW Ohio, and all road crossings, out in the country of Ohio and as the crow flies not far from Kings Island.

My dad's side of the family is from Allen County. My great grandmother used to tell me stories of a place they called Monkey Holler. Told me a story nobody would go in there because they wouldn't come out.
I'm from simpson county, next to Allen and I heard about this place too but haven't been able to locate it yet. There is a vocalization captured on tape from that area. You can hear it on bfro Kentucky page. They were ghost hunting when they call the sounds, it will give you goosebumps. I Believe the road is called House Bluff road. Been asking about it for years but Noone seems to know where it is or maybe they just don't want me going because they know what's out there
Great stuff Cam, always enjoy hearing you tell these stories. Sometimes it gets me through the middle of the night due to insomnia. With no where to go and staring up at the dark I put on my ear buds and catch a good hour of listening. Thanks for that.

Mr. Dixie, I really enjoyed this one. I liked the backgrounds too. I was here early on, took a pause for too long (I forgot how much I like your voice when you are Telling Tales.) I liked the booklet being read here, and I've noticed that more folks have been talking about those Screams with sub-sonics that I had bee keeping an eye out for in the Past. What a great guy and wonderful stories he has to share with us! Mr Richie’s encounters (and others) he documented in his book are without a doubt real. What he recounts are what most people experience.
Not to make fun of any of the experiences he shared; when he talked of the man putting his trash out and seeing a big black something in his headlights a commercial came on advertising a product for bladder control, I about wet my own pants laughing at what a coincidence it was in regards to his encounter 😆. Great stories Cam and I hope you and Mr Richie can get together soon with a live show. That would be awesome!! Happy Labor Day and God Bless!

Am from Louisville Kentucky have had an encounter it was three feet away from us and our flashlight went out and when we got it to turn back on this thing was standing next to us the only reason we were able to see it is because it's eyes were shining in the silhouette of its body it was three times or height it didn't chase us or anyting we ran away but there have been at least fifteen and counters within 10 miles of that's why and it least five or six within a two-mile range of that area and this is right outside of the city of Louisville Kentucky which has over a million people that live here the woods where all these encounters happen go all the way to Fort Knox which is about an hour drive from where where I had mine counter and there had been a few encounters at Fort Knox the woods are all connected if you go to Kentucky Bigfoot research organization Jefferson County and Bullitt County are connected buying counter was off of Blevins Gap there was a lady that lives on Blevins Gap who used to get followed to the bus stop Everyday by 1 and in Bullitt County which is only a few miles away from Blevins Gap there is a family who has them on the property it has also followed her to her bus stop a few times and they have seen Dogman up there too

I have friend who lives out in the Colorsdo mountains. He was taking a ride on his 4 wheeler a few weeks back just waving his video camera which was a new go pro. He had it just moving back and forth. When he got home and put it on his video computer he saw it. It was running along side of the road about 50 ft out. He got just that for a few seconds. But when he slowed the video down for the few seconds and it ain’t no doubt. If I can get him to send me his clip I’ll send it to you. He’s delighted. Hes got some still shots of faces before but this was his first video of a running big foot. I was tickled for him. He was riding showing a frievd around so they were talking avd laughing on his 4 wheeler. They never saw it when it happened. He said they both would have probably wet their pants. No doubt.
