Fantastic story! The Bigfoot showing up when it did, and distracting the hogs off of him, quite likely saved his life! Those hogs would have killed him had the BF not fortuitously appeared, distracted the hogs and killed a couple of them. Allowing him to walk away to safety. If I were in his place, I would take bags of apples back up there as a “thank you” to the big guy. Hang ‘em high in trees so the hogs don’t steal them.

But was feeling a little guilty of not helping this man from being eaten by these hogs so decided to wade in and help him get out alive ! Hope the squatch didn't take too much punishment !

I gather that as well. Apparently, the Individual telling the Story was not as smart as he thinks he is, perhaps Judgemental, the Cousin may very well be a Genius, and the Wife + daughter really could establish a bit more Freedom of Choice, no Hamburger Helper required.
But, Im just discerning, defining, and prepping to diagnose, (it's what I do), not Judging.

This is the one and only time I will nag him about it because he is a busy guy with his job, family and home. I understand those must come first. On the other hand if he was not such a danged good writer and narrator, then I would never ask for more of the story! LOL If the darned story was not so captivating, then I would not care about more.... see, I just keep going in circles about it! LMBO Oh well, when he does it, we will know, I am sure. Then we will ALL be happy, until we have listened to the new stuff a time or a few, then we will start bugging him for MORE! Lemons (2) cut in squares, half a medium onion (I know-sounds awful) boil in small pot of water til boiling, let simmer for about 5 minutes, drink with honey if desired-as warm as your mouth and throat can stand. Should work on any congestion, stuffy head, stopped up nostrils, fight any fever and the heat (onion has soothing effect) will lessen body aches. Lessens sore throat (the honey soothes as it goes down)…
      Tylenol for high fever.
Rest. Try to relax with soothing music, whatever works for you…I do hope you feel better really soon.
When I had Covid, I couldn’t breathe! I didn’t want anyone talking to me where I had to think! Or answer questions!
This helped also relieve the tightness in the chest - Mentholatum or Vicks rubbed on the chest and throat.

I love listening to your stories! It never ceases to amaze me how safe people feel to tell the stories they have never told before. They know they are not gonna be ridiculed by you or our people and feel so much relief afterwards. I do wonder tho how this man never bro't up how that Squatch probably saved his life. I truly believe, if the story is true, that Squatch didn't wade into a fight with that many wild hogs just because it was hungry. I've never heard anyone tell a story about a Bigfoot being anything other than a cautious and efficient hunter. I can understand how he would probably wish that he never saw another one again, but he should thank his lucky stars that he saw this one. I hope someday he can look back in awe in the knowledge of this encounter. 👣❣️🇨🇱

Chalk up another great one for CAM and the writer of this story.
WOW, you realize how many people who listen can relate to these stories.
This was such a great little story, and it brought me back to the early 80s in Hawaii when some friends and I were visiting the Waipukas off the pali's of Moanalua.
We were leaving through the tall vegetation and had the same encounter as the charector in this story.
When we were walking through the overgrown trail, we heard some grunting and rustling in the thick vegetation. As we were just young men, one yelled to run, so we did. Well, my buddies flip-flop broke, and he stopped, and that is when it happened.
A boar broke out of the vegetation and ran by him, raking his tusk along my friends thigh.
He spun and fell to the ground, screaming in pain. I picked him up and threw his arm over my shoulder and helped him back on the trail that led to our car.
We rushed him home, and his mother took him to the hospital for cleaning and, unfortunately, surgery.
There is a whole lot more to this story, but that would take too much time to write in the remarks and who would read it, lol
That was definitely an experience we would never forget.

My newest addiction and I never thought ANYTHING would get in the way of my going to garage/yard sales on Saturdays but damn if I start listening to one of the stories you narrate and I don't want to pause it to leave the car. Can't get enough Cam. Thank you so much.
    Blessings,
    K.T.

OMG I couldn't stop laughing at the description of his cousin. I've heard some good ones in my day, and even coined a few myself, but the description of comparing the sharpest knives, and his poor cousin would have come up as a spoon made me spit up my drink I sipping at the wrong moment. Love this guy.

🤣🤣 Hog shaking it's head like the paint shaker at the hardware store. I used to work in a Sherwin Williams store for yrs. Even for petite gal, I mixed, hauled my share of paint cans. 1 & 5 Gallon.
