The speed boost glitch in wooded kingdom surely is cool, but it isn't weird at all compared to the sand kingdom nuke glitch Step 1: Create a new save file and play through the cascade kingdom in assist mode. Step 2: Clip inside the inverted pyramid before completing any story moons in the sand kingdom. Step 3: Enter the Harriet boss fight. Step 4: Backflip and throw your cap to perform the bubble clip to leave the arena. Step 5: Climb up the mural ruins and grab the first story moon. It is hard since the camera does not cooperate during the 2D section, but it is doable. Doing this will despawn the boss fight wall. Step 6: Harriet always moves towards you. Head to the Northwest reaches and wait until she throws bombs off the pyramids. Step 7: Head towards the Jaxi ruins and trick jump onto it. Also, make sure to grab Jaxi. Take Jaxi to the sand dune in front of the ruin entrance and wait until you can see Harriet's head. Step 8: Slowly guide her to jump off the corner of the pyramid. Step 9: Take Jaxi and head towards Harriet. Step 10: Make Jaxi crash into one of Harriet's bombs. If done correctly, Jaxi will keep exploding. Trust me, it is really phenomenal.
The Japanese version of the original Mario Bros has several actual levels in the minus world, unlike the North American / European versions where it's just the looping water level.
It would be better to include in SM64 the glitch when you clone an item and you can have anything in your hands like a goomba or a 1 up, it's way cooler than just flying while undead
Super Mario Galaxy has a no music glitch in Good Egg's third mission. Enter the pipe on top of the house and immediately shake to enter the Launch Star. When entering the pipe, the music will fade out, but the Launch Star pulls Mario out of the pipe before the music of the bonus room loads creating complete silence.
The Mario 64 flying while dead glitch I discovered way back when, but what I did was double jump a little too high with a little too little health over the fence by Chain Chomp and hit the jump for the 3rd jump on the ground below to start flying. If done right Mario will perform the jump at the same time as taking damage. It's possible to land in cannons, even collect caps, but otherwise any sort of landing will kill Mario. Neither the spinning heart nor coins will restore health.
My brother and I found a glitch while playing New Super Mario Bros. U (it was U Deluxe, IDK if that makes a difference though.) We were fighting Boom Boom in World Three in CO-OP, and my brother died to him and went in a bubble. I killed Boom Boom and popped his bubble at the same time near the floor. When my brother was released from his bubble, not only was he under the bridge, but we defeated Boom Boom and the timer didn't continue to go, but we could move around after defeating Boom Boom instead of doing the dance and playing the music of victory, at least until he came back above the bridge. I've tried doing this twice, though, and I couldn't do it again, so it must be a frame perfect glitch.
5:22 This is actually because of sprite limitations, all the characters and objects separate from the background are made of multiple 8x8 pixel tiles, with each tile being its own separate "sprite" which are assembled together to make the character or object. The system can only display a certain amount of these per scan line before it starts to drop / stop displaying these sprite tiles in order to draw other sprite tiles on the scan line, which is what's happening here
I always liked holding down A and B while exiting a warp pipe (have to have the fire flower) and then skating/sliding on one foot like he's wearing those Heely shoes.
I have a request in line with your video on what kingdoms fans most want to see in Mario Odyssey 2, in this case what costumes the players want most to see in Odyssey 2, weather they are repeats either done the exact same way or in a slightly new manner, or new costume ideas that are either just for fun, some type of new Easter egg, and/or a compliment to new kingdom that may be in the new game
There is actually a werid glitch in Paper Mario 64: the glitch occurs that if you do a Kooper Super Jump underneath a save block, the game automatically saves the game for you, and because of this, we can move around while the save text is up, you can storage other NPCS text and their text gets added to the Save Option Selection Box.
The Super Mario RPG one is just because you reach the limit of sprite pixels on a horizontal line, so lower priority ones (which happen to be Bowser) get skipped.
Plenty of glitches are due to hardware limitations or simplified code for performance reasons. Think flickering sprites in NES games or when some object fails to collide with another. For these cases; a developer could work around it, but this would result having less content in a game or impossible features.
Odyssey has many weirder glitches -Time Freeze Glitch -Floating Rocks Glitch that can slow the game and my favorite -NUKE glitch which I learned from SmallAnt where basically in the Sand Kingdom you can get Harriet off the boss battle arena and into the main world, and if you drive a Jaxi into her something cool will happen
new super mario bros wii glitch is if you freeze a koopa troopa on a fence then turn the fence one or twice the game will start to lag and give you infinite coins and the koopa troopa gets out of the ice so it is just a big ice block
Why does everyone call - 1 the minus world it's clearly blank dash 1, because each of the normal worlds are number, - number, and because of the way the characters are placed it must mean that it's just the first level of an unnumbered world.
World -1 is actually 36-1. Since this game can't handle more than 9 numbers, all numbers after 9 are just glitched sprites. For exemple, number 36 is just a corner of an invisible block.
There is a glitch in New Super Mario Bros. Wii in co-op mode where one player eats a koopa with Yoshi and then both players do a simultaneous ground pound. I discovered this one. The koopa will become invincible and you can farm 1ups off of it in so many ways.
Two years late, but in new super Mario bros wii there’s a coin spawn glitch in four castle. Reach the part of four castle with koopas on a spinning fence panel with an ice flower or penguin suit (and possibly a friend of you’re bad at timing) Wait until a koopa is on the spinning panel, then freeze it and _immediately_ flip the panel. If you brought a friend, one of you freezes the koopa and the other flips the panel. If you did it right, the koopa will land safely and begin spouting an infinite number of coins, really fast. So fast, it lags the game in a few seconds.

In Super Mario Advance, they place advance coins that can only be collected by riding a Pokey off the cliffside, because they float.
