    I had the thrust washer drop on my 2015 a couple of years ago. Managed to recover it with a magnetic scope (removed the supercharger) and had a chat with BRP, I used to work there. Great to see that improvement 👍

    It's a shame BRP is getting a BAD REPUTATION making junk from the factory that DOESN'T LAST and FALLS APART on it's own due to their engineers skipping important details maybe even on purpose so they stay in business with consumers buying parts. Thank you CALAS for your insight.

    • @R1Kyle
      @R1Kyle Год назад

      Were you sleeping while the video was playing, that was not a stock motor, it blew up because it was not built properly by a modification shop not because of BRP.

      @@R1Kyle BRP engineers are great at making things break and charging crazy prices. They make their profits and move on. Geniuses, they are in allot of fields so you are bound to buy one of their products and watch them fail.

    7 to 10 seconds of WOT??? Seriously? What's the point? Kinda stupid, I'd rather stick with OEM and go 72-75 and not have to worry about blowing up for another 15mph. I can't believe I just heard that, 10k just to not be able to send it...

    • @floridafisheater8650
      @floridafisheater8650 3 года назад

      The issue is you don’t want to run the ski at it’s top rpm for a long time the same way you should not run your car at it’s top rpm for along time it does not mean that you can’t do it multiple times, when motor get build and Tune properly you can race them over and over… so the more you take care of your toy the longer it will last you.

    9200 RPM, WOW that reduces the life of the Rotax engine by at least a 1/3 if everything goes good. Better off operating the engine at 8000 RPM with a moderate boost increase and losing 10 % give or take of your engine life.
