Thaey are a new band they have only been around for 6 months. I have not reacted to them yet.
Yeah they are pretty cool! I didnt recognize the bassist right away but its Rina from ELFRIEDE and TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI.
Hello Shreddawg! I hope everything is great with you and your family. I'm also hoping your carpal tunnel issue is getting better. I did like the bass line that was going on and the guitar solo fit the song really well. I'm sure you have heard already, but our favorite Maids released a new live video Thursday (I think, my memory hasn't been great lately). The song is "Don't You Tell Me" I suspect Gary is deliriously happy about that. It was shot at the Yokohama concert and Saiki was in exceptional form and the rest of them were awesome as usual. I'm going to get that video, one way or another.
Hey! My carpal tunnel has started to get better but then got worse... I am keeping the 2x braces (wrist and elbow) on at least while I am at my computer. I didnt realize it at first but the bassist is Rina from ELFRIEDE / TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI. She was not tagged on Twitter and the bands site does not show information for her. Even he site doesnt list this but I did find articles to support that it is in fact her. Shes pretty cool and I though I recommended the bass haha.

@@Shreddawg I thought that bassist looked familiar, she must have been the bassist that replaced Juna Serita when she moved away. Juna is now in the Jazz Avengers and still sits in with Tokyo Groove Jiyoshi once in a while.
I was kind of hoping for one of the new songs that they hadn't played during the last US tour, but I'm pretty happy with this one. I've always loved the "conversation" between Kanami and Misa during the solo section. Akane also managed to find the perfect drum pattern to support the solos too. I'm just guessing, but I suspect we will start some new videos when it gets closer to their next album release.

New song would have been great! That really is an epic moment between MISA and Kanami, thats why everyone always hopes for this song to be played, and I cant blame them! Yeah something will pop up soon. Did they ever release a video for the new song being used an in anime? I dont remember if they ever released an official MV or not.
@@Shreddawg No, I don't think they have released that one yet. I know they played 3 or 4 new songs at different times while they were touring in Japan after the US tour finished, but they only played "Magie" and "Brightest Star" (a Miku song) at Yokohama. They didn't play any of the new ones at Yokohama Part 2. The acoustic concert will be pretty soon, and then there will be a few dates with Incubus featuring Band Maid in Japan. After that, I think they will be releasing the newest album. I've heard anywhere from May to late summer for the album release, so I'm not real sure on when that will happen. I suspect they will start touring again after the album is released so they can promote the new album. They will be releasing the video for Yokohama pretty soon I think too, I am definitely getting that one.
Hi Shreddawg, I have a recommendation haha. It’s my friend’s band called MIGHTY HOPE if you’ve never heard of it yet. Their song Bleaching has a music video and I think you’ll like it. It’s a super talented band. I like Vision the most tho, I hope you’ll check that out too ★

... I watched it a while ago but I have not posted many videos lately due to my work schedule and my carpal tunnel. It takes a lot of working and typing for me to manually create Japanese subtitles. I dont like using the auto subtitles because the translation is very bad so I manually translate them with assistance of various translate apps to ensure a somewhat accurate translation since my Japanese knowledge is very poor 😅

Yeah its a bit tough but more Japanese speaking people watch my videos than English speaking so I work extra hard to create subtitles :)
I finished the editing on the video already but I need to create a thumbnail and write the translations... I am hoping to upload it next week some time!
