Conceivable, yes, but predictable. It would be more interesting if they made her something/someone with magical abilities connected to the background lore of the miraculous. She was obviously interested in the miraculous book from her very first appearance. She seems to be able to spellbind people, nobody would fall for most of her lies, there is more going on there. She came to Paris and sought out Ladybug and Adrien specifically as soon as she arrived. She was aware of a fox miraculous, and honed in on that one specifically to cultivate the Volpina narrative. It is possible that she actually does descend from a past fox miraculous wielder. She clearly had an objective from the very beginning, but Ladybug/Marinette making an enemy of her right from their first meetings seems to have altered whatever her original underlying goals are/were. Now her goals are at least threefold: 1. Whatever her unknown original goal(s) are/were, 2. To destroy both Marinette and Ladybug, and 3. To make Adrien her's. Chances are that they will make her more dangerous than Gabriel for the following reasons: 1. The show and its audience has grown and the fans want to raise the stakes, 2. Gabriel's goal was ultimately not malicious and he was not always so bad, and 3. Lila is more compatible with the butterfly miraculous than Gabriel; her talents fit Nooroo's more closely, so she will be more powerful than Gabriel; and because she is probably more ambitious than he ever was, she will be more dangerous. It would be a mistake to just have her constantly sending akumatized villains after LB & CN's miraculous like Gabriel did; they need to change the formula and approach. Lila is Marinette's archnemesis and foil now. Gabriel was once like Marinette: similar background, similar love-interest, similar goals, etc. Now, Lila will be Marinette's foil: both are scary stalkers, both are obsessive, both are the most compatible with their miraculous, both are constantly scheming some plan or another (Lila's wall is meant as a counterpart to Marinette's), etc. Gabriel was the counterpart to the more harmless aspects of Marinette; Lila is the counterpart to the more harmful aspects of Marinette.
