@@russcooke5671 yes you're probably right, but the cost of restoration these days is incredibly expensive.
@@rogerpritchard you cant put these cars into a restoration company and expect to make a profit. It’s a car for someone that know what they are doing and do it themselves. But a great looking car. You cant see the true condition but bodywork is time consuming
@@russcooke5671Thanks, interesting. I wish I had kept my Capri, it was a red 1973 1.6 Crayford convertible, reg MYF 620L. I suspect it was scrapped long ago. I wonder what it would be worth today. Only made about 17 I seem to remember.
@@rogerpritchard I ve five crayford cortina convertibles. I had a good one when I past my test in 1975. I also had a very very rare crayford 1600E. 3 litre ir was converted by them new in 1970. Very fast but looked standard. Bigger Dunlop alloys Uprated suspension and brakes Uprated engine 190 bhp. Much faster then a savage they only made two
