The story I can not speak of because it’s still ongoing (live service of course) and many of the severe problems (like the poor treatment of the justice league) could be fixed. They gave Harley a freaking drone to grapple to, in order to make her free roaming feasible, and they couldn't bother with an animation for her where the drone breaks her fall or something?

A Suicide Squad game where YOU the player get to decide your squad roster from several different villains and rogues of different heroes(Maybe having it so some like Dead shot, Harley, etc. are necessary) where if you die as one of said villains when playing them(having it so maybe you can switch between, play whoever you want), and or die as one of them, that one as a character will actually remain dead for the rest of the play through and add to how the Suicide Squad works where there are always at least a few characters that are expendable. Then having it so you can of course base the squad you make and combo of villains off of your preferred play style, having to do some sort of black ops mission with them like the original comment said where you stop a war or do some crazy stuff in a foreign country. Or really just anything that isn't killing the world's main heroes. Just a few thoughts I had is all reading these comments.

I first played Arkham Knight a year and a half ago and was blown away by how absolutely stunning it looked for a game from 2015. Not only visually, but atmospherically. I think it still challenges games today from a visual standpoint. I know it had a rocky release for PC, but I'm glad it still gets the recognition it deserves. SS looks so drab and sterile by comparison

That s why rather than the development studio, we should focus more on the devs themselves. Rocksteady aint nothing without their original devs who created the arkham trilogy.
From pure graphical fidelity, obviously Squad is better. Newer, faster storage on consoles mean it can push out more at a quicker pace. But Arkham Knight shows how far great art direction goes. It also helps that even for its gen, was on the high end of the spectrum. But you can obviously now notice that yeah textures are slightly lower res. Models in some things may be noticeable etc. but man, you either don’t notice or don’t care. I don’t think Squad looks and by any means and I definitely don’t think it’s a last gen game (graphically wise with the fps), but it’s just lacks the interesting and strong art direction that the Arkham universe is loved for.
How the fuck ss is better at physics? Harley just land on his feet and grapple like avengers spiderman. Other hand Arkham Knight has insane gliding physics and detailed animation for moves and environment. It is insanely realistic. If you hit somewhere when you gliding or turn opposite direction when you grapple boost there are animations for that spesific scenes. It has insanely detailed and accurate smoke, paper, explosive, grapple line and environment animations. Throw a batarang to smoke in Arkham Knight and see what is accurate physic is. SS is an arcade shoter game.
You are so wrong here, AK visually is much better than SS and you just need to see them side by side. The only visual feature SS is superior is facial expressions in cutscenes and thats all, and hey Im not saying SS looks bad at all but AK is far superior.

When I think about the idiots who always criticized Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight. I hope that the release of Gotham Knights (which I know is officially non-canon) and Suicide Squad KTJL finally makes you realize how unfair you were with these games which were pure masterpieces. What I mean is that Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins have always been shunned and considered inferior to Asylum and City while the 4 Batman Arkhams are flawless. Of course, everyone has their strong point. -Asylum has the atmosphere -City exploits lore (lots of emblematic places and characters) -Origins has boss fights -Knight has the gameplay Gotham Knights IS a good game but Arkham Quadrilogy IS a masterpiece

Well, this game is very well made, it's Rocksteady after all, but still the game came out real bad. I feel that this game was something that Warner asked to Rocksteady to do, a Multiplayer Live Service Game that have a TON of DLC's. Okay this is how I would change the story for Batman in The Suicide Squad game. I would make it wear instead of the whole Justice League being affected I would make it with Batman the only one that wasn't affected and actually uses his contingency plans and goes out to fight them only to be pinned down and before he dies he gives the suicide squad the contingency plans to neutralize them after he gives it to them he goes out to hold them off before dying and then the suicide squad uses the information Batman gave them to use it against them but instead of neutralizing them they alternate it to where they can kill them so that's pretty much how I would change the story for Batman at least

Suicide squad doesn't really look bad. It could use a touch up or 2. But I think the issue us fans have with it is the direction they went with the story and the subpar combat.
Just wanted to say that movement cant be compared since the pacing is entirely different. So is the combat. Youre supposed to chain attacks and keep moving.
Once again, to be fair with the movement. They made 4 different character movements and had to make sure one character isn’t faster than the others. They made movement for only one character in Arkham knight. Gliding, grappling, and Batmobile. That’s three different movement abilities vs four in suicide squad.

Dont know how much of this is true , but i read that the rocksteady who made the amazing Arkham series pitched the idea of a superman game to WB ( if anyone could have pulled off a good Superman game it would have been them imo). WB said no and wanted a game that's live so they could make more money , most of the people who worked on the Arkham series then left not happy with WB decisions, i can believe it to be true as WB kept interfering with the DCEU too changing what Zack Snyder had in is plan's and completely messed it all up. I first played Arkham Knight a year and a half ago and was blown away by how absolutely stunning it looked for a game from 2015. Not only visually, but atmospherically. I think it still challenges games today from a visual standpoint. I know it had a rocky release for PC, but I'm glad it still gets the recognition it deserves. SS looks so drab and sterile by comparison

When I played Arkham knight I did some embarrassing things like turn off the lights and play rain sounds in the background to make me feel almost completely immersed in this game.

The smoothness of Arkham Knight is unbelievable, it looks even better than SSKJL
From pure graphical fidelity, obviously Squad is better. Newer, faster storage on consoles mean it can push out more at a quicker pace.
But Arkham Knight shows how far great art direction goes. It also helps that even for its gen, was on the high end of the spectrum. But you can obviously now notice that yeah textures are slightly lower res. Models in some things may be noticeable etc. but man, you either don’t notice or don’t care.
I don’t think Squad looks and by any means and I definitely don’t think it’s a last gen game (graphically wise with the fps), but it’s just lacks the interesting and strong art direction that the Arkham universe is loved for.
How the fuck ss is better at physics? Harley just land on his feet and grapple like avengers spiderman. Other hand Arkham Knight has insane gliding physics and detailed animation for moves and environment. It is insanely realistic.
If you hit somewhere when you gliding or turn opposite direction when you grapple boost there are animations for that spesific scenes.
It has insanely detailed and accurate smoke, paper, explosive, grapple line and environment animations. Throw a batarang to smoke in Arkham Knight and see what is accurate physic is.

What I mean is that Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins have always been shunned and considered inferior to Asylum and City while the 4 Batman Arkhams are flawless. Of course, everyone has their strong point.
-Asylum has the atmosphere
-City exploits lore (lots of emblematic places and characters)
-Origins has boss fights
-Knight has the gameplay

To be fair to the falling thing, the characters dont have a convinient parashute-cape that can justify nullifying fall damage. Unless you gave all of them jetpacks or something there is nothing you could do

Well, this game is very well made, it's Rocksteady after all, but still the game came out real bad. I feel that this game was something that Warner asked to Rocksteady to do, a Multiplayer Live Service Game that have a TON of DLC's.

Okay this is how I would change the story for Batman in The Suicide Squad game. I would make it wear instead of the whole Justice League being affected I would make it with Batman the only one that wasn't affected and actually uses his contingency plans and goes out to fight them only to be pinned down and before he dies he gives the suicide squad the contingency plans to neutralize them after he gives it to them he goes out to hold them off before dying and then the suicide squad uses the information Batman gave them to use it against them but instead of neutralizing them they alternate it to where they can kill them so that's pretty much how I would change the story for Batman at least

Suicide squad doesn't really look bad. It could use a touch up or 2. But I think the issue us fans have with it is the direction they went with the story and the subpar combat.
Just wanted to say that movement cant be compared since the pacing is entirely different. So is the combat. Youre supposed to chain attacks and keep moving.

We really took for granted the games released from that generation.
Once again, to be fair with the movement. They made 4 different character movements and had to make sure one character isn’t faster than the others. They made movement for only one character in Arkham knight. Gliding, grappling, and Batmobile. That’s three different movement abilities vs four in suicide squad.
Say what you want about Avengers but at least that game had unique movement and combat for each character that made sense unlike Suicide Squad
