@@stephenoconnor4029 it is is "game" that decided to have Captain Boomerang by giving him smg and sniper rifle and Flash like super speed and only then boomerang once in a while as a bonus. Literal Fortnite has more of a Captain Boomerang experience than an actual game with him as one of the MAIN characters.
They literally could just pick any Vigilante/Wild Dog/Deathstroke/Red Hood/Bloodsport/etc for Suicide Squad roster if they wanted shooter character THAT much.

Besides, I have played looter shooters before, and I know how bad they can get (year 1 destiny and year 1 division come to mind, and Anthem lmao don’t get me started), and this game surprisingly is nowhere near that bad. You can tell by playing that the developers put effort into its mechanics and world. The story I can not speak of because it’s still ongoing (live service of course) and many of the severe problems (like the poor treatment of the justice league) could be fixed. In fact there’s data-mined dialogue of the Flash being alive so idk they could pull a cyberpunk and turn it around.

They should’ve made the game about the Squad trying to destabilise a government or end a war in a foreign country etc., Y’know, actual Suicide Squad things.

A Suicide Squad game where YOU the player get to decide your squad roster from several different villains and rogues of different heroes(Maybe having it so some like Dead shot, Harley, etc. are necessary) where if you die as one of said villains when playing them(having it so maybe you can switch between, play whoever you want), and or die as one of them, that one as a character will actually remain dead for the rest of the play through and add to how the Suicide Squad works where there are always at least a few characters that are expendable. Then having it so you can of course base the squad you make and combo of villains off of your preferred play style, having to do some sort of black ops mission with them like the original comment said where you stop a war or do some crazy stuff in a foreign country. Or really just anything that isn't killing the world's main heroes. Just a few thoughts I had is all reading these comments.

@@NamelessPassenger Well if we're gonna talk Batman deaths, then let's mention that at least Gotham Knights Batman died the 1st time getting jumped by highly trained assasins _and_ Ra's al Ghul, a man who has lived and trained for hundreds of years. Then in his second death he died sacrificing himself for his mission, his city, and his family.
Meanwhile SSKtJL Batman died to four goons he's _already_ beaten, when he had _less advanced equipment,_ _less_ experience, said goons had _more_ members on their team (one being a copy of Spider-Man, the other being Killer Frost, and the last one being a guy who is stated to be capable of ripping people in half with his bare hands), and when he _wasn't_ trying to kill them.
I first played Arkham Knight a year and a half ago and was blown away by how absolutely stunning it looked for a game from 2015. Not only visually, but atmospherically. I think it still challenges games today from a visual standpoint. I know it had a rocky release for PC, but I'm glad it still gets the recognition it deserves. SS looks so drab and sterile by comparison

It’s not only in the gaming industry. This also applies in the movie industry with their CGI. Old CGIs like Pirates of the Caribbean still look way better than modern ones including Endgame.
When I played Arkham knight I did some embarrassing things like turn off the lights and play rain sounds in the background to make me feel almost completely immersed in this game.
SSKTJL is just a sad display of pathetic gaming

1: I would utilize features from the games before knights.
2: Add features like civilians and random events.
3: Not kill off Batman the way this game did so. Make it where his death is really tragic or have him try to take down braniac.
4. End it where the multiverse needs to reset where batman and the justice league can appear again.
The whole Multiverse Reset feels kind of Unnecesary if you ask me but eh

From pure graphical fidelity, obviously Squad is better. Newer, faster storage on consoles mean it can push out more at a quicker pace.
But Arkham Knight shows how far great art direction goes. It also helps that even for its gen, was on the high end of the spectrum. But you can obviously now notice that yeah textures are slightly lower res. Models in some things may be noticeable etc. but man, you either don’t notice or don’t care.
I don’t think Squad looks and by any means and I definitely don’t think it’s a last gen game (graphically wise with the fps), but it’s just lacks the interesting and strong art direction that the Arkham universe is loved for.
How the fuck ss is better at physics? Harley just land on his feet and grapple like avengers spiderman. Other hand Arkham Knight has insane gliding physics and detailed animation for moves and environment. It is insanely realistic.
If you hit somewhere when you gliding or turn opposite direction when you grapple boost there are animations for that spesific scenes.
It has insanely detailed and accurate smoke, paper, explosive, grapple line and environment animations. Throw a batarang to smoke in Arkham Knight and see what is accurate physic is.
SS is an arcade shoter game.

The only visual feature SS is superior is facial expressions in cutscenes and thats all, and hey Im not saying SS looks bad at all but AK is far superior.
@@LeocaprioDinardo personally I think Arkarm Knight does a better job of capturing facial expressions than SS:KTJL. The scene where Batman gives his final speech in SS:KTJL compared to any scene with Batman giving dialogue in BAK solidifies my argument, in my opinion.

When I think about the idiots who always criticized Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight. I hope that the release of Gotham Knights (which I know is officially non-canon) and Suicide Squad KTJL finally makes you realize how unfair you were with these games which were pure masterpieces.

@@glazzy4826 I don't hate Gotham Knights, it has a lot of good things. But we can say that it is still below the 4 Arkhams that we know. What I mean is that Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins have always been shunned and considered inferior to Asylum and City while the 4 Batman Arkhams are flawless. Of course, everyone has their strong point.
-Asylum has the atmosphere
-City exploits lore (lots of emblematic places and characters)
-Origins has boss fights
-Knight has the gameplay
Gotham Knights IS a good game but Arkham Quadrilogy IS a masterpiece
The whole Arkham quadrilogy is a mixed bag, Knight especially, but Origins and City are the best in my opinion. I always play them back to back during the holidays.

So let me get this right: You’re telling me that somehow someway, Batman survived the Knightfall Protocol at the end of Knight. Then, he’s somehow alive and is somehow “brainwashed” by Harley Quinn into becoming a murderer? I have a hard time believing that Harley of all people could achieve the very thing that Scarecrow couldn’t do after pumping him with fear gas THREE TIMES!!! And when it comes to his end, he goes out like a chump with one bullet to the head. That is not the Batman that we all know. He would never leave Gotham. He wouldn’t let his enemies taunt him in his final moments. And most of all, Batman would fight until his dying breath.
This makes absolutely no sense and it can’t just be me who sees it this way. This is a complete money grab and huge middle finger to Kevin Conroy and all Batman fans. At least make it make sense!

Well, this game is very well made, it's Rocksteady after all, but still the game came out real bad. I feel that this game was something that Warner asked to Rocksteady to do, a Multiplayer Live Service Game that have a TON of DLC's.

Okay this is how I would change the story for Batman in The Suicide Squad game. I would make it wear instead of the whole Justice League being affected I would make it with Batman the only one that wasn't affected and actually uses his contingency plans and goes out to fight them only to be pinned down and before he dies he gives the suicide squad the contingency plans to neutralize them after he gives it to them he goes out to hold them off before dying and then the suicide squad uses the information Batman gave them to use it against them but instead of neutralizing them they alternate it to where they can kill them so that's pretty much how I would change the story for Batman at least

The fighting in Arkham knight is better but suicide squads advantage is having many different characters to choose from and many different builds within those characters.
It also has a nice advantage of being absolutely shit.
