- Ugh I'M SO SORRY FOR THE LOUD ASS FAN. I had my ceiling fan on and didn't think my camera would pick it up. I promise to sweat to death in my next video and won't have the fan on. It annoys me too.
In this video I talk about all the products I use to keep my hair in good shape and so purple. Hair products are like insurance for your hair. You wouldn't go spending a bunch of money on a new car and then not get the oil changed, would you? I certainly hope not! You need to use the right products to keep your hair happy and healthy. If your hair feels great when you leave the salon, but then go home and use bad products on it and want to blame your stylist, think again! Bad products can cause just as much if not more damage to your hair than coloring it in the first place so be sure to use products that work for you and are good for it! This is just what works for me. Everyone is different but I would ask your stylist what she recommends and WHY.

I need to try that dry remedy! I only wash my hair once/week too. Mainly bc of laziness but my hair is never oily either. Your hair really does always look so vibrant and healthy. The lip color is obviously amazing and you look stunning in your thumbnail! 😊
Awh thank you so much. I'm all about doing my hair once a week and then just pretending that I don't realize how awful it looks sometimes haha. The dry oil is amazing and you can probably get a sample of it before you commit to the full size. 💜💜💜💜😘
I use the wet brush and I really love it. also I'm an Aveda fan! I just died my hair to a mossy green. and I love your tip on the pigment conditioner. years ago I had red chunky peekaboo thick highlights and I used rose madder from Aveda, and it really saved my red. I'm seriously considering making my own conditioner as you did but with the argan oil perfect intensity in emerald green. love your channel and I'm so glad I found it!

Hi I cant find the pureology stuff I think they don't make it no more. I just died my hair purple and my hair falls in short pieces damaged 😢. What can I use for it.
Thanks for sharing the products you use. I'll be trying a couple of them. I've just recently (February 2017) gone purple and I absolutely love it. I'm 50 and for the first go round my hairdresser wanted to try just doing it over my natural color (brown, copper, silver, white) to see how it would work. We were both pleased with the initial results but after having it for awhile I feel like it's too challenging to keep the color super nice looking with all those resistant grays. I "touch up" with overtone conditioner once a week. Still get compliments on it almost every time I go out in public but I guess what I'm wondering is if you think bleaching my hair the next time would be better. Would the color stay truer for longer? Oh, and even being middle-aged I have an oily scalp and dry ends, so I don't know how that affects color.
Maybe I'll give Batiste a second chance. I don't remember why I didn't love it.

OMG, i have curly hair that I've dyed blue and purple with my stylist.....so this info helps me to keep it up. Can you show us how to use dry shampoo? It should be easy but I think something comes out white, and so I rub it in, or leave it or do you only leave it sit at night? I'm a virgin to hair color, but I may never go blonde again. Since it stains your hair and you wear gloves, what about the tub? That would be a nightmare, do you do anything to avoid staining the tub/shower?
Does your diy staining conditioner stain your tub/shower? How do you remove it or keep that from happening?
Where do you find the panteen keratin keragloss mist? I haven't been able to find it? Or what else would you recommend in the same price point?

+The OfficialMakenna yea the artificial lights bring more of the blue out. The color I use is a blue based purple. I'd say it's 60% blue and 40% red. In orange/yellow lights my hair looks more of a pinky purple. It just depends on the lighting. 😊💜
