I absolutely love how the center tenor acts like a crazed lunatic while playing then instantly composes himself for the sticks in and looks all formal like everyone else 😂😂
I watched this exact clip in 2012 when it was uploaded my sophomore year of high school and I can forsure say, center tenor spazzing at the end spark my hype for the rest of high school drumline 😂😂😂
@@RedstoneManiac13 I must be a danger to myself and others, and I must need to be put in a psyc ward because this is nothing compared to double beat 9000
My friend and I grinded this together in 2006. Its crazy how far cadences have come since then. Now I cant even read the sheet music for most of them since they have gotten so complex!
im agreeing with you... scv didnt intend it as a cadence, but other people are using it as a cadence... yah im wrong calling it a cadence in this context
Who ever directed this clip has done a terrible job of focusing in on the important bits. There are so many little tenor moments that aren't show where it's like "snareline/bass line, snareline/bass line, snareline/base line"...... :( It's like... Da fuq! But this is a fantastic warm up. I remember playing it in high school with our drum line. The tenor part is sick!
How to kill your sticks. Snare line is TENSE. tenors are cool as the McGavock high school band in finals until the last… hahahaha. Stop that center tenor from becoming the next Chad Sexton… lol Stop the sway and get straight, but, that was very fun to watch. Good show gentlemen! You can tell some are struggling and some are having a great time.

You're crazy if you think Double Beat 9000 is better than this.
9000 has the left hand buzz that they just THROW DOWN and it's epic. But nothing beats the 3 16th note rhythm that dominates this exercise.
I guess I’m crazy.

Snare at Caroline high school in VA
most high schools and colleges use is as a cadence... idk if that was the original purpose but, its been molded into a cadence
