- Ireland’s flag carrier Aer Lingus has a very distinctive spirit - But what does their Economy Plus fare offer for the passengers?
After Aer Lingus recently gained a lot of attention with their new livery, it is time to have a look at their onboard product. Last September we had the chance to try the Irish carrier and the experience was good. You cannot expect any free onboard service, but they have a nice onboard menu and their seats are comfortable. Even though the Plus fare includes some nice extras, I probably wouldn’t choose it again as it is much more expensive than the lower fare - but this choice depends on your personal needs. Relax and enjoy this wonderful flight into the sunset with stunning views! :)

Das war mal wieder ein ausgezeichneter Tripreport, Christian!! Ich liebe einfach Deine ruhige Kameraführung. Das iPhone X holt schon klasse Aufnahmen raus!
Aer Lingus is schon eine gute traditionelle Airline, obwohl sie nicht den einen so guten Service wie Lufthansa oder die Swiss etc. bieten. Aber für so einen kurzen Flug kann das ja auch egal sein ;) Auf jeden Fall Daumen hoch!

Mit dem Service gebe ich dir auch recht, der ist ähnlich wie bei einem Low-Cost-Carrier, aber das nimmt man gerne in Kauf... Schönen Abend dir noch!

Personally, early morning flights departing around 06:30 to 07:00 are the best, but that usually means you have to fly back at around 11:00 - is it just me or is flying home late in the morning really tiring and depressing for some reason? I find the weather is worse around then, with so much cloud cover you can't see any scenery, and the turbulence seems to be the worst between 11am and 2pm. Don't know why but evening flights just seem way more enjoyable?

@@CSpotting When we go skiing we usually go with crystal or topflight, tour operators always give you an early morning outbound and midday return, or an afternoon outbound and evening return, it seems you have too book separate flights, by yourself, to get a morning and evening combination.
Aer lingus really need new Airbus A320s there newest one is still 7 years old (EI-DVN)
