- In this video find out what i eat in a day as I fly to Dublin Ireland to try an Irish Breakfast! But the challenge for this video, is that I have to do it all in one day. So I take a flight with Ryanair from Leeds/Bradford UK to Dublin Ireland , have to find the best breakfast in Dublin, try, it, and make it back to the airport in time for my flight out of Ireland later on in the day with Ryanair. So will I succeed? Or will I fail? Find out in this video!

Where should I go next and for what food?
Comment below 😀
Go 40 mins up the road to a little town or village setting.
Germany next for wursts Frühstück
Frankfurt or Berlin. Frankfurters Great or Wurst. Curry Wurst is also famous.
Greece for Gyros ;-) try it if you dare
Portugal for Piri Piri chicken
That's the most Cockney Irish bus driver I've ever heard.
Here working after the brexit debacle no doubt, fair play to him .
What's Brexit got do with it?
@@KieranLoughlin-yr7jt
It was was the stupidest idea ever.
I think you should push the boat out a little and make these overnight stays. You can do an evening meal review on the 1st day, and a breakfast/lunch review on the 2nd day.
That would make his challenge a bit too easy 😅
Series 2?
A good idea! ❤
And he wouldn't have to skip lunch like he did today.
are missing out on more videos per each trip.... all meals and a travel video and a hotel review. so spending o much time flying for a short video in return
Enjoyed the vlog. Thanks for traveling to film this to share. Looking forward to the next one xx
I know Dublin can do much better than that typical mass produced breakfast
Another entertaining video and such a better experience than the previous trips thanks for another banger mate keep them coming 🎉🎉
Thanks, will do!
Enjoy these. Good idea. Appreciate the effort
Thanks for watching! 😀
I loved watching it just like always! Keep those videos coming - they're so entertaining!
Thanks 😀
Hello my friend that was a surprise going to Dublin! Looks to be a nice place, your breakfast looked lovely & substantial too. Definitely worth what you paid, pleased this trip went well only wish the weather had been better for you. Overall well worth doing, great video!!Thank you for all the time & effort you put into doing these. Looking forward to upcoming ones, take care 💜 XX
Thanks 😀
Great video, appreciate the effort you take for these.
That coach driver was a donut. "Center of Dublin please"... where exactly 😅
About in the middle I reckon 🤣👍
He was English.
Generally, airport buses have a flat fare to the centre of a city so you don't have to specify an exact destination.
Having just returned from Dublin I can confirm I was asked exactly where in Dublin by an Irish driver. Between UK/IE Irish / English are all over the place.... who knew!
I recon his cheeky reply was for the wandering tourist😅🎉
What a fantastic video, real quality and extremely entertaining to watch. Brilliant my friend.
Thanks for another great video. I thought at first you were going to have more bad luck finding a place to eat! At least you arrived back home at a decent time on this trip!
Me too, glad it wasn't a late one
I'm loving this series, keep em coming
Thanks, will do
So, all the way to Dublin for a full English breakfast.
Exactly
The full Irish has pudding, the English does not. He did get 1 bit of pudding so I guess it's kinda half and half 😂
@@Klynch111 A Full English has Black and White pudding if required.
Haha the infamous long walk for Ryanair arrivals. It’s horrible when you’re coming home from holiday and just wanna get home
It's fine, you can always pay €200 more for a jet bridge
That said, it's nice to be home.❤
If you ever do travel from the airport and you drive, just don't ever park in the long term blue, waited 25 mins last time for the bus to take me there, after a long flight and even longer hanging around the hotel and airport before our flight, it was horrendous 😂
you keep it real, and love that, you go far in life, thank you, as usual super ace video,
Excellent video and a successful day for you, too.
Well, my native language is German, but lately I've frequently used a term I heard about for the first time in your videos: combo-bite. It's just the best explanation for what it is, I wouldn't even know how to explain this in German in such a decent way and with just two words. I'm already looking forward to watching the next video. 👍👍
Looked great, especially the button mushroom's. Great review
Brilliant as always, continued success
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great video - love this format. I once had a day trip to Barcelona from Luton airport. Maybe worth a go.
Barcelona is a place I will for sure visit in the future
Smashing video. Great to see it went ok.
Thanks 👍
You’re all for combo bites! I like to eat everything separately! I love your videos and I love these days away! ❤😂
I'm definitely with him on combo bites! ... My late mother used to eat the parts of her meals separately, which I always found an odd way to eat things!

I wonder if there is some psychological reason for my habit?
Another great video and from my local airport as I live in Harrogate. Look forward to more of your videos. All the best from Harrogate
Thanks 😀

Brilliant. Might try this myself.
Go for it!
Love these travel vlogs, I live in rural Ireland and i travelled through Dublin a lot in the past felt like id gone again. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
That breakfast looked top quality I’m really enjoying your vids
Thanks so much
Looked crap to me
these trips you make to other cities is a wonderful idea...if i were 30 years younger i would do the same. thanks
glad you got pointed back to Ann’s, went there for breakfast when I was in Dublin and it was really nice
Recommended by 2 local people so it must be popular
I like these travel videos. Keep them up.
Thanks! Will do
Enjoying this series of a man descending into madness
A proper Irish breakfast never, ever has beans on it.
Hi from sunny breezy Los Angeles! 🙋♀️
This was good trip! Best of all, it went on schedule! Good looking brekkie too!
Next: How about Stockholm for Real (non-Ikea) Swedish Meatballs? Or, do a "Real in Stockholm" vs Ikea meatball showdown. Hopefully, when you ask a local where the best meatballs are, they don't reply "Ikea" 🤣😱🤣
Was at this place last Autumn with my daughter on her first visit to Dublin - we had a cake and a coffee as we had been to the Aviva for football earlier in the day and had eaten there. It was very lively and people were so friendly. Loved the fact that they had lots of choice of simple home coooked meals. Families out shopping, were bringing in their kids and they were running to their favourite tables etc - good sign!
Its a good place and great prices too
really enjoying these reviews even when ya fail i live in bfd used to get a early flight to dublin grab a few beers and dinner then fly straight back was a good lol and cheap
Its a cheap day out
Ann's Bakery in a classic in Dublin , its changed a lot over the years , seems like its kept its charm, great Vid , new subscriber
Anne's bakery is one of the best cafe's in Dublin . Glad you enjoyed it!
Not to be negative my friend, but when I saw the food under the heat lamps, I would have made a hasty departure. This looks like a tourist area. Perhaps find where the real locals have breakfast. Find the business district. Good luck!
Or just do some research and look up the reviews on Google beforehand and just go there instead of asking locals "where's the best place to have breakfast in the whole of Dublin" 😂
@@Muskateering I think your strategy of asking locals is a great one, however
if you are in a touristy area you will get a touristy suggestion. So first start where the locals are, especially the average working stiff.
All the best to you.
Sorry, I confused you for the host. I agree with your suggestion.
Thought the same, need to ask a fat old bus driver where to go, they'd know! Or research online, make sure it's cooked to order!
@@MuskateeringVery true, every person he spoke to will have had breakfast at home!
The Vikings named the place where the Poddle and Liffey rivers meet as 'Dyflin', (Dublin) meaning 'black pool'.
And the natives just down the road had the "Home by the hurdled Ford", (Baile Atha Cliath). Eventually the two came together and the English gave it its meaningless anglo name "Dublin".
Wrong. In 2AD the first Gaelic settlers called Dublin, Dubh Linn, The Place of the Black Pool. Vikings wrote it as Dyflin.
The English built the city that we see today.
Hello, EIE
Fantastic vlog, I love Dublin. I really enjoyed your breakfast. Although I thought it would be different. Thanks for sharing 😊😊
Love the whole process of you getting there and back in these videos - the meals too of course
and no, i don't know what black pudding is
You don't want to know what it is lol
you're right - i googled it and can't "unknow"
Excellent value for money for your breakfast. Plus points for avoiding the rain. Dublin looks like a nice place to spend the weekend.
Its a good weekend break
👏👏👏👏👏you have smashed this one Sir. Who on earth mentioned this place Sir? That is a dogs breakfast. Beautiful Dublin views near the end.
'who mentioned' two local Dublin traders.
Another great video
Thanks! I appreciate it
Great video. Cheers.
Thanks for watching 😀
Love your reviews
Thanks! I appreciate that!
Great video!
Awesome channel 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Great video….love these little challenges. Cracking value brekkie too 👍🏼
They're fun challenges to do
Glad your trip was a success, that breakfast looked great, why not try scotland for haggis 😊😊
Scotland for Haggis would be great
@@everydayimeating3407 Or for a breakfast which is your 'speciality', try a Scottish breakfast with Lorne sausage (square sausage), tattie scones, and maybe some haggis too. The Arbroath smokie is smoked haddock and another breakfast traditional. Loganair or Eastern airways or Easyjet to Aberdeen or Inverness return, or Glasgow or Edinburgh if the flights are easier. Consider a flight from Humberside if Leeds/Bradford doesn't have flights- think it's Eastern's base.
Next time for one of your food challenges, come to the isle of man in the Irish sea. We have some excellent restaurants, cafes, bars etc, and the food is hearty and delicious, people friendly. Thanks for the video, enjoyed
Whats the best food to eat on the isle of man?
You've got all sorts, lots of variety of good food, from all over the world really. Really good fish and chips, to full English breakfasts, pub classics, Thai, Indian, Chinese etc
We all use Anne's bakery for breakfast and lunch , delighted you found it it's well know in Dublin
Its a great place!
L O V E these videos keep them coming!!!
Thanks 😀
Living in the states, first thing to do is a full Irish breakfast when we land, grab a car and head to local hotel in Dublin….mouth watering just thinking about it… 🤤🤤
Well done great priced flights and a €10 Breakfast with both Black & White pudding IS Irish! The only thing i avoid these days is early flights. When i saw Trams i wondered which country you had flown too! I really dislike early flights that aside a great success excellent!
The early flights are annoying but they tend to be the cheapest
You should have got yourself a normal Leap Card, and took one of Dublin Bus 16 or 41 to the city centre. It would have costed €2 one way, €4 for the return. Also, I recommend Sima for the best Breakfast in Dublin. From Dublin Airport, you to get bus route 16 to Santry, to pick up the N6 bus to Kilbarrack, get off at the stop just past the Fire Station. After getting of the bus, walk back to the road you pass and turn right. Walk pass 2 bus stops, and it is on the right, before Boots.
You should go to San Sebastian in Spain one day.. The food there is Amazing 👌👍
Made me hungry man. Aussie Bob 😊
Come to Scotland and have haggis! Make sure they’re freshly caught and still alive when boiled! They will scream but just ignore it! ❤
🤣👍
Another subscriber mentioned Amsterdam for chips. I agree, delicious 😊😊
From experience, it's hard to find a decent breakfast in the city centre. Next time, consider going to Pip's Cafe in Crumlin, which is the best breakfast in Dublin I've ever had!
Hi hope you enjoyed the trip @ 7.39 you introduced yourself to One of Dublins Gentlemen! He is a true star of our city and a man of great knowledge.
I enjoyed this a bit disappointed that you didn't get trapped anywhere! The breakfast wasn't particularly Irish.....never mind. Think it was a success on the whole.
Niceone pal, you're very welcome! 😊
Any time! 😀
Enjoyed this well done, and an English driver to boot..I loved the random theme.
P.S go to Brussels and have breakfast at the woodpecker..it's astonishing .
I have just been to Brussels! Check out the video and see what you think
Good video breakfast looked really nice , why not try isle of man or Isle of White 😊😊
What is the best food to try there?
They say 5here fish is really good🙂🦐🦀🦞🦑
Love the white pudding... had some great, but also not so great.
When he asked the Newsagent what's the best place for a brekkie I was shouting at the screen 'tell him Anne's ffs' :)
The 747 shuttle bus into the city can take as little as 35 minutes or an hour and a half on a Monday morning 😊
I go to the grand for mine
One of the few main airports in Europe that has no real proper transportation to and from the airport as I'd imagine that bus would be shocking when busy. Sooner they connect the luas to it it'll make things easier for people flying in
As some have said a bit of research might help. White pudding is just cereal and spice no meat. Just like black pudding blood and spice with added fat. Keep it up good ideas. How about keeping the theme Edinburgh for a full Scottish breakfast?????
I've come over for breakfast. Excellent 😅😅
😋
Those hash browns looked huge! I imagine they'd be very filling all by themselves.
They were delicious!
I’m not sure what a traditional Irish breakfast is meant to be like, but what you had was a generous size and looked tasty.
Irish ingredients. Quality fair
What was the cost of getting to Leeds airport at that time?
Wynne's Hotel just around the corner from O Connell Street. Beautiful breakfast made to order..
Before I finished watching, what was up with the welcome driver. Next time you visit Dublin, if you have not before try out the Guinness tour and look out for the Spire Dublin. Another good original vlog.
Thanks for the tips!
Have you ever tried Irish stew? Or a spice bag? It was developed originally by Chinese takeaways here as a way of using up leftovers but has become very popular. It's basically a mix of shredded chicken/chicken wings or balls, salt and chilli chips and fried onion peppers and chilli, usually with Chinese spices. Often comes with a tub of curry sauce also. Absolutely yum!
I'll have to try them on my next visit 😀
@@everydayimeating3407 you could try a Dublin coddle lol it's basically a white stew made with rashers, sausages, potatoes and other veg stewed, producing a white stewed. Sime people add in curry powder near the end. Its a very Dublin dish. I personally don't like it. But I was in West Port, Mayo a few weeks ago and had a lot of their amazing seafood over the 3 days from crab to lobster to fresh mussels...wow was it delicious. Caught fresh that morning mostly and just no comparison with supermarket bought seafood or fish.
Get yourself a tfi leap card it costs 5 euros and top up by 5 get the dublin bus into o connell street. It will take 2 euros off card and if your thete and back in 90 mins it only costs 2 in total. Otherwise 4 you can also use the luas and trains with it. Best irish breakfast is in irish hones 😅
I've been watching your Vlogs for ages just looked and I wasn't subbed! sorted.
Amazing! Thank you 😀
Best Irish breakfast I’ve ever had was at Durty Nelly’s Pub in Bangkok. Soda bread is a must!
you did go in your earlier beer Guinness this is very tasty ....any way in Ireland I think the food is almost the same then in the UK but the weather is just cold and mostly rainy all year ,however the experience to go for your Neighbo country just acroos the British Channel is quite nice mate ....so i am glad you enjoy your short trip ....you can go to Portugal too for the next flight and the sea food is just amazing espacily in the Meditteranean sea so if you want not for a long filght go the Greece the suflaki and the sea food Mussles is just freshing ....anyway wishing a great week a head ...🙂
Full Irish breakfast would be a full pot of bewleys tea , toast and butter , brown soda bread with choice of preserves ..apple or orange juice , rashers , black clonakilty pudding , white clonakilty pudding , fried tomato, mushrooms , fried eggs , sausages , potato farl or boxty ....hash brown is something just added im guessing ..baked beans also .
Sounds very prescriptive. Is that your personal table or is there somewhere that sells that?
Since I've already had plenty of English breakfasts, if I was to visit Ireland, I'd at least be looking for white pudding, soda bread and potato farls. (And just quietly, no baked beans is a big plus for me.)
Bachelor's are the best beans, none of the heinz shite and you need the soft white pudding that spreads on your bread
Anyone else notice the captain on the return journey back stated they were flying to Derry and the flight time was actually 14mins????
Loving your “Daycations” - but your Irish breakfast looked a bit disappointing. Maybe Belfast for an Ulster Fry would have been better? At least you’d have got a potato farl with it 😀
Pure Irish Breakfast.....LOVE IT
Not much use to you now, but considering you’ve been to Dublin more than once and have been caught out by the bus, it’s worth mentioning that if you keep walking further down from the airport towards the car park, there is a different, public bus that costs half the price and runs far more regularly (the 16 bus runs every 15 minutes and takes 45 mins - 1hr to reach the city.
Aircoach are great, but only if you’re travelling to a different city in Ireland after you land.
Next time!
That white pudding doesn't look right...take it from an Irishman. Good value though 10 euro for a full brek and tea smack in the city centre
The newspaper stand, Austin Creegan ! Long time no see, dont know if you'll see this but fond regards to Tommy and all the family. Neil (Nigel) Cullen.xxxx
If you had bumped into me, I would have said The Stage Door Cafe in Temple Bar 😊
It's a long way to go for a fairly average breakfast isn't it? Even with the white pudding.
Should have tried bewleys cafe on Grafton Street.
Should of tried the Gresham Hotel look for Anthony if you go back Anthony Gielty
You should have had a breakfast in trinity College they do an excellent breakfast, they even have fried bread sometimes.
You should stay overnight somewhere and try multiple places!
How about the Netherlands for a Dutch breakfast?
Should have done your homework before arriving , thought you'd landed back in England when I heard the bus driver😂
You go to Ibiza Spain for a full English breakfast

A flight to Dublin and back is cheaper than a day trip to London. How is that a thing. I think that this was your best day trip yet! Where next? A trip to Germany to try their great cakes perhaps?
It is definitely cheaper than a trip to London. It cheaper to go abroad than to parts of the UK
Go to Belfast, Northern Ireland UK and have an Ulster Fry you will have a proper breakfast.
I plan to!
