Do you perchance know if the MonsGeek M1W/SP allows for reprogrammable buttons - specifically for the knob? I'd like to make its functionally entirely focused on media control. Not mute volume on pressing down, but pausing and playing music etc.

Too bad its south facing leds. Thought it's a pro at first, bought it and then started reading... I hope it won't be as bad when it finally arrives. Will match it with matcha greens from akko and cherry keycaps in grey/white.
Still you people are crazy to think spending $1000 on a damn keyboard is normal. Anyone that would has been brainwashed and is a sheep. It's the same as paying a million dollars for Hunter biden's spit paintings. I can accept 100 for a budget custom keyboard maybe 150 if it has some new technology in it. $1000 is for fools. Now, admittingly I'm a fool as well for paying $2200 for a white 4090
Lmao it is BUDGET because it’s wireless. CNC Aluminium. Got switches and keycaps, it’s BUDGET just because your broke ASS is seeing 167 as high doesn’t mean it’s not budget in its class
Does the barebones kit come with a plate? I noticed on Monsgeek's website that you can choose between a FR4 plate or POM plate which made me think that this board didn't come with a plate.
The M1W is calling me. It would be my second keyboard. I wanted to pair it up with my GMK Hero keycap set. And then I think I will be good for a while. Never felt like I needed 10-20 keyboards and keycap sets. Just a few great ones and be content.

Love it. I just wish the side printed keycaps were cherry profile. Sure I could swap them out but that just adds to the cost of an already expensive keyboard ($210 CAD)

The M1W SP are Side Printed keycaps with shine through light as this one on the video, the non SP M1W are South Facing keycaps with non shine through legends...
Also, I think it's really dumb to have south facing RGBs/LEDs in a gaming keyboard or in fact any keyboard just because a handful of Chinese poorly cloned keycaps and poorly designed and cloned switches interfered with one another.

.. Also, the AKKO MOD 007s has a much better refined fit and finish to the case and is worth the extra few dollars.
