    I wish they had an ISO DE layout for the keycaps, I really like them visually and couldnt find a replacement with side printed keys and the gradient anywhere else but I ordered it anyway, either I will be fine with having a different keycap layout or I will find another one but they rest of the keyboard is so nice that I just want it!:D

      Yeah it would've been so nice with ISO printed keycaps!

    Was looking into this and compared it to what Rainy75, TH80 Pro v2 and V1 Max which all support QMK/VIA support, but at a better price, though they are not metal/aluminium based case. Considering the price, features and my experience with my trusty and heavily modded Keychron K2 v2 with Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow switches, I ordered Keychron V1 Max with a set of Cherry PBT Doule Shot Dark Blue/Black keycaps (comes with Xinmeng A66 keyboards). Most likely I'll continue using same Gateron switches and will mod it to make it more thocky/silent.

    • @keebdude
      @keebdude  3 месяца назад

      That sounds like a good plan!

      @@keebdude Just as an update, @JakeReevesVideo I went forward and ordered TTC Silent Frozen V2 90 pieces for ~USD45, as a replacement to my really liked Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow, which are considered budget but are very nice and close to silent switches. Lets see how they will compare and hope I'll not be upset.

    Good video! If you could work on the narration that would be even greater :) Use a little more enthousiasm, more range in your voice so it doesn't sound monotone and like you didn't really want to make this video but someone forced you... lol

    for me ISO is bad layout.
    i grow up with iso azerty layout, what i hate about is:
    1 the left shift was too shot i need it for two things
    - the number raw in azerty is not typing numbers you have to hold shift or use the num pad also the arabic there are another 35 characters to use, its not capital latters so i grow up using capslock and numpad.
    now i switched to ANSI the left shit is near for arabic the numbers can be used without shit in qwerty mode, the flat enter did bother me at all.
    i was hating keyboards , now im using a full size keyboard from WASD most of the time and another 75% from yunzii when I'm using my graphic tablet.
    finding the right keyboard was annoying.

    • @keebdude
      @keebdude  5 месяцев назад +1

    • @Rayu25Demon
      @Rayu25Demon 5 месяцев назад

      @sinchrotron the ansi enter is not rattling like ISO.
      It's easy to one, most of the expensive gaming mechanical keyboards with cheap build quality are ISO.
      Brands like logitech, Nzxt, corsair, razor asus or msi have ISO options most of the time
