Popped so hard when I saw The Climber and Shamo on here. Two of my favourite manga and protagonists
yup very underrated compared to how good they are
Im so glad Mori is on here, The Climber was the manga that taught me more than climbing, but how much someone must struggle for their conviction of who they no matter the pain on them or others

I constantly switch between the climber and innocent as my favorites of shinichi sakamoto's work but Mori is such an amazing character I can confidently say Mori>Charles

People always talk about how evil Griffith turned out, but they forget how likeable he was during the Golden Age Arc. He always had a sinister side to him, but his personability had truth to it, especially his fondness towards Guts
People always forget that Griffith's goal was purely human naivity.
Almost everyone has a goal that they would do 'anything' to achieve. And a lot of people are pushed to the point that the goal they dream about falls through their fingers. This has led to some of the most horrific atrocities in history.
If you don't think you are a Griffith; you are naive to the hell you can summon forth if pressed to.
@@Frank00000 I feel so SO bad for Griffith when he loses all that confidence, self-esteem, drive, leadership and his body due to torture and the psychological stuff due to losing to Guts. He is so relatable, and him doing great evil after being beyond tormented for a year in a prison is very understandable. Dude had everything, thought nothing would ever come in his way, and yet became below mediocre in every way, in such a short amount of time too. Absolutely despise what happened to him, but also it doesn't justify the horrific evil he committed in his life.

Jack hanma and Baki hanma kinda like literally me characters. For Baki is about growing up and maturing as a masculine man and for jack is to be strong, but jack was just like any other skinny or skinny fat and wanted to change and that’s where i related and a lot of people who are bodybuilders. We don’t want to be jack like taking steroids: we want to be different and better versions.
