Even though Lucas was pushing all James buttons, he shouldn't have done, what he did. Hitting a kid is never the answer teenager or not. Lucas is misbehaving too struggling with being a teen trying his limits and getting used to his dad being married to James, who at times really isn't the easiest to be around, but he have had plenty of warnings. I hope it's true, that James will go get anger management therapy, and put his family first(as I read)/fight for what he has left and regain the trust that Ste will feel is broken(could understand if he wanted to leave him), when he finds out what Lucas meant, (you can see he felt regret/remorse somehow), and not just say it to get peace but actually follow through with it.

As someone who is a child abuse victim, i can relate to Lucas sooo much. I did the drinking and everything. Its hard freling like if you say something, youre making your parent choose and afraid they wont choose you. And youre the reason for destroying their world.
Real problem is lucas was never punished younger so he would know to respect his adults. I know it SO drama but ugg. What he said was to far and actions have consequences and vice-versa

I swear, if the writers of the show pull back and have Lucas say, "Nothing, never mind", I'm done. Lucas and James are both toxic characters but this needs to be put to an end. Lucas needs to tell the truth about what James did and James needs to be given his walking papers. They also need to have Ste wise up a bit. All this is going on around him and he's worried about secret lesbians and finding his charger.
