cos he and his agent will get more money and remember playing football is a relatively short career with lots of injury risks. The gobshite agent will always be able to sell him elsewhere if things don't work out.
I think Latte Lath will be away in January tbh. He's an athletic, pacy striker with a huge work rate who can rise like a salmon to get on the end of a header. Manu's agent sounds like he's an absolute shark for a pound note. Hopefully we will command a big fee for him because he is a good signing that will only get better due to his age also. Tommy Conway surely must be installed as our main striker due to Manu's agent constantly trying to dig out a new contract for his player. I thought he'd go within the next two transfer windows after this summer anyway. If we do receive a big fee for LL it can give us the ammunition to finally go out and get the final missing piece of the jigsaw to make us a real promotion contender. Conway was a huge signing for us though, he's highly thought of amongst us Boro fans and has a real eye for goal, he's also going to be a Boro club legend this lad in the red and white of Boro. UTB. 🔴⚪
If your going to reference comments from the agent then you need to read the whole article of what he actually said. The agent clearly states that latte is not pushing for anything and that he is only focused on trying to help boro get promoted.
Ipswich fan here. We've only got one starting striker in Delap. He's suspended for the next game and we'll see how we cope with Al-Hamadi (who we bought from AFC Wimbledon in L2 last season) this weekend - but he doesn't (seem) to fit our current system/be ready for the Prem just yet - word was he'd have gone out on loan if we landed LL on deadline day. George Hirst is a good facsimile for Delap, but he's struggling with injury. Our CEO has stated we'll be in for reinforcements for sure. I was impressed with LL both times I saw him in person last season in the champ, but we also offered more than £20m for Fotis Ioannidis (as did Leicester), both of which were turned down. Give me the choice? I'd take the Greek over LL as he's more of a battering ram up front, which if you've seen any of Delap this season, you'll understand what a PITA he is for opposition defenses!
Good idea Matt about more videos...The Agent thing with Latte is a bit of a nuisance really cos like you say he's not keeping it quiet....If he had to go I'd want 25 mill for him...we could get a couple of decent players for that...I'd rather he stays but if he goes 25 mill is what I'd want
What is the aim? Sustainability or the model is working are the sound bites bandied about. All well and good if you’re happy with never being truly competitive and no more than a second division play off contender, at the same time banishing the aspirations for real success for the majority of fans.
Boro is always going to be in the supply business, whether it is Lathe, McGree or Hackney. We need to plan on loosing playeers appropriately to minimize the impact.
Always hate it when agents run their mouth about their players, sometimes its better to not have players with those type of agents in your team. If a PL club comes in with £15-£20M for him I'd take it without hesitation. That would be some great money for you, and the fact you have Conway it wouldn't make it as bad. You probably would have to bring someone in, but great business nonetheless 👍🏻
I suspect his agent is doing his job, drumming up business while his stock is high, the key is to make as much as possible from the deal, for him not to be sold to a rival (e.g. Burnley) and who we have lined up for a replacement.
Let him go 25m be daft if he goses anywhere but westham pointless going to any of the others linked can see him fitting in well at westham even though ad rather him stay at the boro we will hopefully have another gem lined up hopefully hard in Jan that's the only problem
Why would he leave to go the clubs who are probably gonna go down
It’s a very good question

Money
He Would never get the cool breeze of the riverside anywhere else . Latte needs to laff at his agent and become a Boro legend and not a journeyman .

Very interesting perspective from an Ipswich POV. Thanks for the insight!
Louis Barry from Villa, on loan at Stockport, scoring record is great.
They turned down 20, albeit late in the window, but they would push for more than 20 surely, 25m with a 5m survival bonus.

Kieran Scott and his scouts will already be looking for any scenario that could happen if players are going to leave.

Would a top promotion hopeful such as Leeds and Sheffield Utd sell their best player in January ?
Probably not, but they have parachute payments so they probably wouldn’t even need to consider it

Burnley wouldn’t be able to stump up the money Gibson is after

Why leave to join a club coming down and being less happy in the same league.
right who is the source ? and stop making up wild statements
Southampton may do a a deal on archer . Loan/permanent based on promotion
That would be something 😮💨
Are we looking at an agents 10% do you think.
If he goes, he goes the world is a big place to find another striker 😅
what is worse? An agent spouting his mouth off publicly, or a youtuber promoting the agent making the same point over and over?
Defo the latter, deffo
Let him go get Morgan Freeman from Plymouth utb!
Barlaser can go so can Dieng .
