      Ugarte looks awful on the ball, Uruguayan Gallagher and Yoro is too young to rely on. De Ligt doesn’t fit amorims system and Mazaraoui is a solid 7/10 every game but won’t set the world alight. Neville is clearly annoyed that his mate Ashworth was sacked. The Athletic wrote up a big article on this. Obviously Gary has read the reports on why his mate was sacked, but he's choosing to ignore that to go along with the narrative that United are a mess (which we are, but Gary loves to twist the knife for some reasons). Ashworth wanted SOUTHGATE or Potter. He didn't align with the vision and quite frankly, his suggestions and decision making was poor. That's why he was sacked, Gary. It's not a mystery.

    It's a bit worrying that the players that came in during the last transfer window are just being treated like they've been at the club for the last 2 or 3 years. Mazraoui has been a standout performer, De Ligt and Ugarte look solid and Yoro hasn't had a chance yet. We could easily lose today but we have to try and stay positive in the long term and believe that somehow Amorim is the right man for the job, it's a long road back to the top and just because of the clubs history they aren't ever guaranteed the success that we've enjoyed over the last 35 years.

    Keane and Neville is why I tune in. The problem is that Manchester United have always been what they are now. Sir Alex needed time and then turned to his academy, adding pieces along the way. The same thing could be said of Liverpool after their decades of dominance ended. Sir Kenny was the catalyst for Liverpool in bringing in Henderson and Suarez. The spark Keane speaks of will come from someone like himself is given the managerial role and brings in a hungry young Irish, Scottish, English midfield player who he can personally mould.

    • @JDela10
      @JDela10 2 часа назад +1

      He is doing that though. He is using the early days of his management at the club to front load the painful things, like rotating heavily to filter out the players he can work into his system and those who can't... and frankly those who just aren't good enough to ever be in a team that will challenge for the title. It is rotten now but its better to front load it than kick the can down the road again. There will be bad results, there will be frustrating performances. The man hasn't even had a single transfer window yet though, he hasn't had one recruit. This is not his team at all and I respect his decision to prioritise his system above the players he has. He wants a team to adapt to him, he won't adapt to them. Now, whether it will work is up in the air because it depends on the club recruiting correctly, on the suitability of Amorim's system in the Premier League, and whether he can actually imprint it onto a squad under this much pressure. I have no idea if it will work but I feel a lot better having a manager where I can understand what he doing, after a couple of years of being completely confused by ten Hag.

    I really hate the Super Sunday coverage.
    You talk about the fixture that’s about to be played, not the one in a few hours time.
    Super Sunday should really start at 12:30, so you have 30 minutes to talk about the first fixture which really should kick off at 1 PM.
    Then the next fixture should really kick off at 4 PM, so you then have enough time for a big build for the main fixture.

    Not sure how this summer's signings can be held accountable or have struggled... Zirkzee is probably the only one who's had a difficult start... Ugarte never got a chance under ten Hag and has done well under Amorim.. De Ligt has been steady under both managers, and Mazraoui has had one bad game since he signed and is putting in solid performances week in week out.. It's the Rashords, Dalots, and Onanas making howlers or not putting in the bare minimum level of efforts

Amorim looks like the man for the job. Look at Sporting since he left, they were undefeated this season and lost 3 games in a row since his departure

    Everyone knows the reason why United is performing badly. Its simply signing the wrong players like Antony, Casemiro, Martinez, Malacia etc and on stupid high salaries. Liverpool have proven signing the right age players is really the key to a good team performance and the hunger to want to excell in their new team. Until the day United learns how to sign exceptionally good players, they would always remain in the doldrums. Sad but true.😮
