- A drunk woman was escorted out of the Tampa airport after being denied entry onto her planned flight due to her intoxication. After a tense altercation with airline employees, police stepped in to assess the situation, which resulted in quite the scene for passersby’s. Following being escorted and ultimately arrested, the woman has a meltdown in front of authorities.

It always amazes me when people are given every opportunity to just walk away, but they end up in jail.
If it was bad that they couldn't fly that day, after all that hassle I'd probably make sure that they couldn't leave next day either for all the disturbance they caused.They were told a dozen times that today is off, you're on tomorrow, but no, that wasn't enough being told nicely. I would've figured you know what, no flying today, tomorrow we figure out your charges if there's any, and the third day you go home. Obviously they needed a lesson.

The entire flight, they were loud, argumentative with each other, they hit each other, and on one occasion, the wife bit the husband precipitating a torrent of expletives from him and her. And what did the stewardesses do? They laughed and kept feeding them more drinks. Nice.

Whenever she comes in she jumps on a particular chair, gives paw (like a handshake) and gets a treat. There's going to be screaming if I don't follow through on that ritual.

It is one thing to have a drink waiting for a flight, it is quite another to be a belligerent drunk in the airport. If you are bad in the terminal, you will be affected worse once in the plane.

Point is how many times are the passengers who pay the bills right and these airline employees who often times disrespect, breech contract, act in an insulting manner, and provoke confrontation in the wrong. You see many videos of "bad" passengers and few to none where airline employees are to blame. I used to bartend in a major airport for years and seen it a million times. Also, very rare would the bars serve someone to the point of intoxication too. At three beers is hardly to the point someone shouldn't be able to fly. Sounds like someone was just messing with her.

This lady insisted on being arrested made a complete fool of herself, proved her intoxication to all parties and then starts crying asking why she is being arrested. She was big and bad knowing her rights until she got the cuffs slapped on.

I'm almost 60 and I learned in my 20's fair is what you pay on the bus. Life will always come with hurdles, roadblocks, and bumps. How one reacts to those challenges is what makes you or breaks you. I see many young people just can't control their emotions and meltdown constantly....sad to see.

Working for an airport in any capacity must be the WORST job there is. People are insane. And the level of patience this police officer has is commendable.
I think it was way too much, excessive kindness. Some departments complain that they don't have enough officers, well, when someone deserves to be taken within 5 minutes do it, and get back to duty and stay available for the next encounter.

Flying was once a pleasure and even a luxury. But after years of dealing with idiots like this, travel nonsense, and bad pay, the airline employees are miserable and rude the majority of the time, which in return dealing with that and bad travel conditions causes the idiots to act rude and miserable and it becomes a big cycle…. And those of us whom know how to act are caught in the middle.
