- A woman learns airports aren’t for partying after her flight gets canceled and instead of going home, she decides to pound shots at the airport bar. Fellow travelers called for assistance after realizing she couldn’t stand. When police arrived, the woman, who claimed to be “Britney Spears,” wasn’t ready for the party to end. Watch three times travelers were caught on bodycam being excused from the airport after being accused of drinking too much.

Might as well outlaw it everywhere then. Someone who drinks too much at the airport will drink too much at a restaurant, at a concert, at a party, at a bar or anywhere... Most people know their limits and don't drink to excess in public. That's why there are a thousand sober people at this airport video, and only one drunk bozo.

Not just the alcohol but also the xanax they take. Mixing them makes a lot of people belligerent.

Makes me wonder how many of the most wild airport ones are people taking their bento and thinking “one drink can’t hurt”.

It literally turns people into psychopaths. You feel no emotion, but feel functional. Then it multiplies the effects of alcohol for maximum disinhibition.
I didn’t know that, it explains this inexplicable behavior.
These people are behaving like kindergarteners. When I was in kindergarten I knew that kind of behaviour would land me in BIG trouble, I'm thankful that my parents raised me right.

Calling the sternum rub cpr was hilarious. For those that don’t know, you rub the sternum with a knuckle to wake someone (or call their bluff if they are faking) because it REALLY HURTS.

Do airport bartenders not have the same responsibility as bartenders/servers at regular restaurants 🤔 As a restaurant owner there would be no way I would have a patron this intoxicated at our establishment. Anyone that serves is responsible with serve safe, whether it be an airport or a restaurant.

First the bar lets her drink to the point of being belligerent and unable to walk, then when they cannot sell her anymore drinks, they want her gone. The bar and bartender bear responsibility and should be fined as well, even have their licence revoked. Not legally allowed to operate in this fashion in many areas that require all bar staff to have the Smart Server Program.
When I look up Smart Serve Training, only Ontario/Canada comes up. Is this even available in the US?

Not to be a buzz kill (pun intended) but I was part of an air crew a few times when I was in the USAF; it’s dangerous to have a person that impaired on a aircraft for many, many reasons.

There should be a rule at airport bars that they cannot allow people to drink so much. Obviously, if a bartender serves someone a specific amount of liquor in a specific amount of time, they will be drunk…it’s just a scientific fact.

When oh when will airport bars stop overserving, and airplanes breathalyze people before they board? There seems to be an increase every year of incidents in the sky of drunks being unsafe.
Let me tell you, I like taking Greyhound for long trips now because of stuff like in this video. The number of times a drunk disrupted my bus ride of several days? Zero. Yeah there are people who are high on the bus, drunk people, people being obnoxious. But guess what? Its a whole lot faster and easier to kick those folks off if they get out of control.
