      Boom boxes??
The output power HAS to come from somewhere, it isn't magic.
For a boom box with amplifiers like this, it would need about 16 D-cell batteries, and they'd last about 5 minutes. We already have PLENTY of tiny, powerful, amplifier I.C.'s that we could be using in boom boxes, but we dont have the battery technology to power them for long and make it portable.

@@cdashpcp I am sure there is a reason for those regular amps as in being heavy duty use.
I am not so sure how these would hold up for people that like to push the limits beyond 80 watts.
I am sure there are people that won't go hard on these small amps and that is the market they are made for.
My suggestion for buying a few more would be for people to use not to stress a single amp to death.

For a class D chip amp pushing 20W into 8 ohms 90+% efficient, needing minimal heatsinking this is about as big as you would expect without power supply. Onboard 36v boost is all that is required. Seriously it looks impressive until you think about it. There are hundreds of chip amp boards available that would fit in a tiny package.
When you get to over 50W into 8 ohms the little packages dry up.

Heck yeah I use the 2.1 channel little Chinese amp boards on Amazon for $60.00 there push 220w to both full range channels and there is a subwoofer spot with 350w plus there are a good bit of setting and they have Bluetooth and the 3.5mm aux input

That's a lot for 60.00, have they been tested to actually put out those numbers? If so, that's an awesome little amp for the money.

@@theinsaneunknown it seems legit if you get the correct power adapter the ine I have I test my subs on before I put them in the car and it shakes my room!

@@theinsaneunknown I've don't have a meter to test output like that so I have never tested it but I have a few and I run my TV on and it's plenty for a room!

Can this thing bring out more bass from a skar 6.5 4ohm 300watt loud speaker? I want more bass from them because I've read that they can put out a lot of bass, but i installed them and they barely even make the doors vibrate. Any advice would be great, im trying to learn more about all this audio stuff. Thanks

@@triggersafe1 I ended up hooking them up where my factory speakers went in a Silverado, which was powered by an aftermarket double din stereo, and no matter how high I tuned the bass and stuff, they never thumped enough.

Im not a car stereo guy myself and I bring my car to a shop to wire stuff.I upgraded my door speakers on an 07 pilot that I bought with a somewhat "newish" JVC double din stereo.I put JBL Club 6.5 speakers and they sound excellent in moderate volumes.Cranking it will garble the sound however.Im thinking if I can up the watts to 45 WPC,the speakers wont sound choked up.I just didnt want to risk paying $150.00 on an install the will not give enough power,or break after a few months.

It is a chip amp, but there's nothing really wrong with that tbh.
