In 2011 I took an old cooler and put a deep cycle marine battery in it, wired up one of these amps to 2 Kenwood 5x7’s and played music through a 3.5mm aux to rca adapter…you could hear it from blocks away. Pool toy of the year
I have an old Sony stereo that the control unit burnt-out and did not want to get rid of the speaker so I searched and searched and came across this small amps and decided to give one a try and surprisingly it works very well, brought them old speakers back to life 😅.
I had a red one years ago, I rember the lighting not working but it was a great little amplifier for someone getting into speakers and audio stuff, I've had it for about 7 years and it still works! It cuts out if the volume knob is touched or not lined up precisely. Defnitly worth the money though
Remember , sound pressure levels are logarithmic, so to double the actual volume, you need 10 times the power. That means that with a 10 watt amp you get hals as loud as with a 100 Watt. However, the lower power amp will distort quicker which doesn't do much good for the qound quality. All in all for a small set of speakers this amp is nt so bad . I use 2 of them for driving 2 pairs of bookshelf speakers connected to my PC. Works great .

pls can you try the 3$ ultra cheap aliexpress TPA's amp boards, the TPA3116D2 are so powerful for the ridicxlxus prices.... the tda3116d2's (at 25v 8amps) power can blow up a 6,5'' o 8'' car speaker without problems.. the mono version board called: XH-M542 ,from my tests only a speaker with a coil of at least 38mm can resist at the full power of this mono TPA , it has monstrous bass... and for 3$...

I don't think it would hold up well in a car though.
Those pioneer headunits normally have a feature were U can set the rear speaker output (wires not rca) to subwoofer mode so U can plug subs into the rear speaker output it would probably do better than that amp would be worth trying LoL
Your smps powersupply is probably very noisy causing the static noise and the wirering can be very sub par in relation to the ability to deliver power and again causing a higher level thd. Try connecting it to the battery directly and see if the lower frequencies is handled better (the higher energy demand at lower frequencies could be a symptom)

It'd be interesting to run through a few of the dirt-cheap amps and receivers that you see advertised by Amazon sellers and others, eg TEMU, Ali Express etc. I'm 66 and when I was a (very poor!) little kid getting hold of things like woofers, tweeters, crossovers, amps etc was almost impossible, and there were no municipal tips either, so you were really out of luck. I tried to make a miniature stereogram with a mono MW radio and two completely different speakers, but it was bloody rubbish. Thankfully young people today have the facilities to become very creative so that by the time they can buy their first car they can make sure their first self-owned domain has some banging hi-fi so they can drive around waking everyone up, ha ha ha!
We moved in 17 years ago before I was born and did an attic clear out and a bit of work up there. Found some JVC speakers from the previous owners and didn’t know how to get them to work properly. My step dad suggested to buy an amp and I bought one on temu for £13, works incredibly, the audio is clear and can get pretty loud with no distortion.
i wouldnt run a sub off of full range amps without a crossover, pushing high frequencies through a sub will cause the coil way more heat and can blow the sub with way less power than its rated for at sub frequencies
I have a few of these, under various brands, i think this is just another brand etc, i run it off an isolated 12v supply, for a portable sound system rig or battery powered rig , they are amazing they sound way better with more current available to them so they dont get all farty
I built a beach radio using a 50 cal ammo can with 4” kicker speakers powered with this amp. I get lots of compliments from people walking by when we use it on the beach.
Aux- RCA Y cable. .. this cable will also allow you to take your cell phone and plug it into your home stereo. RCA jacks L. White/R. Red .And oh what fun it is if you're pushing over 200 watt with a mixer an equalizer on the unit
Used it for two Sony book shelf speakers o got when I was 7 and hooked it up to the tv, I blew it up in probably two weeks or so, it was decent while I had it tho
Let me tell you a secret . Get your self a gaming computer power supply . Cut all plugs . Pitt all yellow wires as one . Same with black wires . Connect the green wired to any black wired to turn power on . Make sure you get one that has at least 60 amps . For what you got I recommend over 100 amps . Even greater if you wish . The higer the amp the better . Computer power supply are all high current . Power can’t drop . You don’t need a battery . You can clean all those wires . You be impressed.
I only got 60 bucks to my poor wallet and I need a damn amplifier and I have a Ak-11 with a woofer that is 300 mm and a tweeter that is 57mm and it’s max power is 160w and it’s a pioneer and I need to know what amp i need to get
I have this installed in my car for my PA system, and its given me no issues. I got it for $8 used on amazon warehouse too. For the price it's great for my project
Please review the aiyima a07, i think that would be a far more interesting video as it claims 300w x 2 and is around 50-60$ it absolutely destroys any of thease amps any day of the week and it is very affordable for what you are getting
i have some desktop computer speakers which is had no sub and someone gave me a home theater sub which is 5' with 25w of power and 4 ohms i cleaned everything and restored it. i used this similar amp for my sub and modified the rca connections from the desktop speakers and i tested it the sub was blasting bass unexpectedly with full vol and bass vol but the treble is all the way down and connected the positive lead at left and negative lead from the right, it turned out great perfect for indoor music speakers for listening what song i like, the bass was smooth with little bit of distortions at high volume so this amp was great

Yeah no point in using this amp in a car. Any decent aftermarket deck provides more power and there's no additional wiring or installation

Those pioneer headunits normally have a feature were U can set the rear speaker output (wires not rca) to subwoofer mode so U can plug subs into the rear speaker output it would probably do better than that amp would be worth trying LoL
I know my 6000 btu does, and it's from 08 with a mosfet chip,but it sounds no weas good as my old eclipse, never heard a better head unit

I bought this amp for my gaming setup to power my headset and I was verry impressed. I had to mod it tho to power my headset
Increasing the current in the power supply will stop the static noise on high volumes

That’s over $2 a watt once you include the power supply. It’s very expensive if you look at it that way

Why are you using your car battery. I have a radio in my garage and I just use the AC to DC converter. Had it wired up at my local car audio center
