Dexibell needs to bet in marketing. They have the best of the best pianos and stage keyboards, but I wouldn't buy this product from this official video. The competitors are using players like Jesus Molina to promote their products. I saw today a demo from a reseller (Dexibell S9 Stage Piano Demonstration Buyers Guide) and the explanation, the quality of sound and playing is far better that the one in the official video. Please, get a professional player and the example from your resellers, because I'd love to see Dexibell int the top of sales! I wish Dexibell the best. Looking forward to buy a S9!
I notice you have a sustain and expression pedal 1/4" outlets on the unit. If you are connected via MIDI to another keyboard, do you need a separate sustain pedal, or will the keyboard sustain pedal affect the sounds coming from the SX-7?
Ma una sound library può essere importata solo per intero (import all) ? Come evitare componenti che non interessano, per risparmiare qualcosa della poca memoria interna ?
One video I found stated that the module version does not come with the Platinum pianos which the Pro version includes, but they can be downloaded from the website into the module version. Also, I think that the module!version may have less room for storing soundfont files. I could be wrong, so please check the Dexibel website & chat with a Dexibel representative before making a!purchase. 🙂
You can play 3 different parts, using them in layer and you can control separate volume and any other midi controls for each part. It is a really good module!! 👍
Paradoxical Vibes You can play 3 different parts, using them in layer and you can control separate volume and any other midi controls for each part. It is a really good module!! 👍
I will ask this question in the hope there’s a reply. First of all. The quality of the pianos are sampled immaculately. 👋👋👋. My Q is...... Why, in the VIVO EDITOR APP for the SX7 has the ORGAN page been REMOVED? I cannot for the life of me understand why.. As the app reads off (and I quote) ‘THE MOST POWERFUL OPERATING SYSTEM EVER CREATED FOR A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT’, I would sure like to understand why it disappears on opening the app.
titaniumslug Just on the app. My meaning is there are some things that can’t be modified with the module itself. For example, the copy, paste function is not on the module but it is on the app. The same should apply to the organ, so that a sound can be modified and saved via the app. The whole organ section disappears when opening the app.
@@essjay2910 So you cant save an adjustment to say a piano preset on the module but you can save it on the app, and with the organ it is not possible to save a preset in any case? Am I understanding correctly?
titaniumslug titaniumslug I’ll try and be a little more specific. The pianos can be modified and saved on both the module itself and the Editor app. The Drawbar organ can be modified and saved on the Editor app and the module itself, but ONLY via the 2x FX. eq, chorus, delay etc.. The drawbar organ CAN NOT be modified via the ORGAN page on the Editor app. Another way to explain this is to go to the App Store, open the VIVO Editor and check the preview, there you will see the ORGAN page. Then open the app you have and notice there is no ORGAN page. Hope this helps.
The app previews show the full functionality when connected to a Vivo S9 (one app for all Vivo models) and I believe the S9 is the only Vivo to have an organ "engine" with drawbar style control in addition to the main core sample based engine. The others like the SX7 do not have this feature so guessing the app just doesn't show this option.
The module looks great. The current price however is not catchy. I feel this would draw more attention and interest, for a product of this category and size, if it is placed within $999 mark.
how to control this module? i would like to connect it to my home organ which can sent msb lsb to select a external sound. Is this possible with the Dexibell? my organ sents the upper keybed at channel 2, lower at channel 3 and basspedal at channel 4
Jayasurya .p.s. Yes, you can layer up to 3 sounds and not only have control on levels and parameters of each sound, but you also have 2 MFX (multi-effect) available for each sound, beside the main reverb and main equalizer. For further information you can download SX7 owner's manual from Dexibell.com
I would rather have the Classico sounds in a module. FYI the Dexibell representative in this video ruclips.net/video/PO6oFu2w-NM/видео.html (at around the 48 second mark) says it has "all of our functionality, all of our sounds". That's a misleading statement for anyone hoping to find the Classico sounds in the module. I assume he meant that is has all of the sounds from the "S" series pianos.
Not with this. It has a USB Midi host port, so the VPC-1 would be able to connect diretly to this unit. But it doesnt come with speakers, so unless you use headphones you will need speakers. Of course you would be limited to the sounds in this module. So if what you want to know if it will cover all your needs, you will have to specity what your needs would be.
Jon Holstein thanks Jon.. I wonder if I have to hackle with laptop during performance. I would like to use vpc1 for live performance. I only use piano sound so I want a great action controller with minimal setup. I wish this could help me. There will be speakers provided. Only my part of taking for the gig, I want a vpc1 and this module and just play. I wondered if it was possible. Thank you.
This does piano sounds and typical sounds of stage pianos, like strings, organs and so on. But It would not be a replacement for a synth, or a real hammond organ. It can load soundfonts, so there is some fexibility there. But if all you are really going to play is the piano, this would provide that. After seeing the price; this + vpc-1 would not be a lot cheaper than MP11. I think the VPC-1 is lighter and more compact compared to the MP11. And this is quite compact, and probably light.
With that kind of money I would go for the MP11SE. It has a superior Grand Feel keys and the newly designed triple peddle by Kawai is now optical with each peddle individually grade to feel like their Shigeru. But since you are gigging the smart play here would be to go for Casio line up of stage pianos. Cheaper, lighter and give you a lot of versatility for the price.
thank you but I cannot find that information on your website, clicking on this products inmediately opens this youtube video and there is no product page available on your website for this item yet .... www.dexibell.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=68 As you can see, it only shows 3 models: Home, Portable and Stage I would had expected a better reponse from your side since you are the manufacterer itself , you should know your website and be as kind as to provide the information that a potential customer requires, don't you agree ???
No problem, you are vey welcome But I still have no answer for my original question: How many banks and how many sounds does include ? Greetings from Munich
Hi again. I'm seriously considering one of these if I can sell some things... Could someone do a video of all the factory sounds, please!!! Thanks in advance!
Nice expander but at 1000 euros that is the price of a laptop so one could wonder whether it's not a better/more versatile solution (i.e midi controller + laptop)...
You forgot the price of the controller. Kawai VPC1 is about 1000 i think, (macbook pro around 1000?), and the actual software isnt free..how much is ivory etc? More like 2500+ for that etup
@@esongsore also there are more thing that can go wrong especially if you arent technically minded to be able to deal with potential issues on the fly like losing internet connection or some error with software. Em, think a better deal is to with PianoTeq 6 Pro at half the price and more than likely higher quality instruments seeing as they are endorsed by Steinway, Bluthner and Grotrian. And also then you can configure everything on your keyboard to your heart's content.
Where did you get price information of this? How much will it be? As far as PianoTeq is concerned it needs a computer with a high end CPU. If you don't have that, buying both a computer and PianoTeq will set you back more. I'm not sure, but I did not see a fan on this, and computers with high end CPUs almost always comes with a fan, so you would have to live with fan noise, something this might be free from.
80 sounds is way too little. Think about the legendary Roland JV 1080 from 1994 (!)... 640 sounds ready to use. I wish this Dexibell box had at least 500. Lacking most of the iconic synths and keyboard instruments we all love (see the new Arturia V 7). Add features like several layers and splits with independient volumes & effects and edits like octaves, touch sensitivity on/off, etc and you'll truly have a winner, to put the Roland Integra 7 onto shame!.
To be honest, I have stopped worrying about the number of sounds. It's about the quality of the sounds... And this unit has that covered. I had a tonne of sounds on my korg krome....but only ever used about 10 of them over my years of ownership. Quality, not quantity.
Love the rack mount option!
I wonder when Dexibell products will be available for sale in Brazil.
Muito fera, aparentemente vale muito apena, pena que não exista um representante no Brasil
Does this also have the organ,Alto and tenor sax,and harmonica sounds of the J7?

Hi friends, this Dexibell SX7 or Roland Integra 7?, what do you think about SuperNatural Pianos, E-Pianos and all sound behavior sound engine?...
On SX7 you can upload the famous Platinum Piano and E. Piano sounds. Many sounds you can download freely from www.dexibell.com

I can't find out anywhere whether anything is missing on this module that is on the S7 pro. Internally that is.

It includes the rack mount ears
Can you layer sounds with this. And can you control the volume of each sound with say a fader perhaps?
