Sorry, this is not "100% made by Roland". Former Roland employees got together and formed Dexibell in 2015, which was acquired and funded by parent company Proel, who've been around for over 20 years. The only thing "Roland" about it, is that former Roland employees started the company, with Luigi as the head designer.

@@davidharpproduction3893 But he also implies that to this day everything is still made under the influence of Roland, which is no longer true. They are their own company now in every sense.

I agree with Piano man Chuck that they are not 100% Roland. That statement is very misleading. Yes they were former Roland Italy staff but they are taking what they have learned working with them but they have implemented new forward thinking ,outstanding ideas of Nord, and other companies to carve a truly different sound, user interface, feel of instruments that are their own designs and are NOT Roland clones.

Hi, Bro! So, we have been friends of Luigi, Richi, Roberto and others. Hahaha halleluyah! The world is so small. And we are also into music ministry, too - awesome.

Piano has more than one meaning in Italian. As it applies here, it means, SOFT. The original name of the piano was, PIANOFORTE. Meaning, soft-strong. That was because you can play soft and hard on a piano. You could not on a harpsichord any other piano predecessors.

For me the Casio Privia PX-350M has out rank most of these boards. This board has those ivory key bed feel, which is amazing and only paying $550, make it even better. $3500 for a board is pricey, I thought I would never buy a Casio, because according the mindset, you're thinking toy sound and plastic feel. Now these days Casio starting to step it up, and the piano sounds great. And with this board, I can still use my vst plugin without using the onboard sounds.

He said that it’s made 100% by Roland!
But two of Roland present workers says it’s not!!!
So it’s Roland or Dexibell? Did Roland rehire the workers? I have a Dexibell Combo J7 73 Keys
Sir Sebastian I’m going to call my two friends who works now for Roland. I once heard that Yamaha made the Kronos because it got FM

TheYoudog it’s not actually Roland. Just the core of the company were former Roland employees. They were laid off and bought out by an Italian company called pro L. So it is a completely new company that uses some of the same ideas that Roland used. They put out better products in my opinion. Just bought the S3 and I love it!

I have owned a Dexibell for just over a year. My brief the piano sound isn't all that great for something this expensive. The "Platinum" sounds aren't that much better than the factory sounds and you can only have one installed at a time. All the factory sounds must be deleted in order to install one Platinum sound. Installing any sounds from the Dexibell website causes the keyboard to go out of tune. The only fix is to reset the keyboard and restore the factory sounds. The limited memory restricts the keyboard to studio use only. You can create sound banks and store them on a USB stick but changing to these soiund banks can take up to 3.5 minutes which when you are on stage... There has also been problems with the keybed. Wobbly keys and keys that stick. I have owned Korg, Roland, and Yamaha keyboards in the past and NONE have given me the trouble the Dexibell has. Dexibell offer almost NO customer support. So you are very much on your own to address the countless issues this keyboard presents. If you really want a keyboard like this spend the extra and get a Nord,
